Overall experience was great, thanks Aeri for the service! Great view, great breakfast. However the hotel seems to be lacking manpower, we had to wait for quite a while to check in.

Our butler Nick was incredibly enthusiastic, the cleaning was excellent, the restaurant was great, and the hotel environment was lovely. The room facilities were very good, and the hotel was quiet. All the staff we encountered were polite.

However, the front desk staff during our first check-in was very mean. Seriously, if you're going to have a sour face, don't work at the front desk. It left a bad first impression.

Anyway, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a typical resort hotel. It has a bit of a design aesthetic, but the bathroom did have a sewage smell. There were no beach chairs by the sea, which I personally didn't mind too much. The breakfast was indeed good, but the dinner included in the package was just so-so. Please don't believe all the overwhelming promotions on certain social media platforms; the more hype, the greater the disappointment. Always remember that you get what you pay for; don't have unrealistic expectations.

Also, the universal power outlet by the bed (it seemed to be an old Chinese national standard, I don't understand why a newly built hotel would keep such ancient stuff) almost zapped me like a lightning god! ⚡️

Overall, I'm very satisfied! First off, during check-in, the staff upgraded us to a suite because they knew we were on our honeymoon and even prepared a lovely little setup for us, which was a really thoughtful touch. Of course, getting an upgraded room was a huge bonus and I felt very lucky. Plus, we pretty much skipped lunch during our stay because the breakfast was so filling. I'll definitely come back! The butler service was also quite good and very attentive. They were always ready to help with anything we needed, even providing a screen casting device for the TV, which didn't affect our experience at all. That alone gets full marks! 💯

Our housekeeper Abby provided excellent service. She contacted me the day before our arrival and even upgraded our room. When we had an issue with the air conditioning, she promptly moved us to a different room. Knowing I had a cold, she also offered me hot water. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Sanya.

I want to give a special shout-out to all the duty managers. Because I had a complaint about the housekeeping last time, all the housekeeping services this time were handled by them. They were incredibly responsive to every single request and issue. This positive review is solely for all the duty managers.

This was a birthday stay, and I contacted the duty manager in advance to arrange a room upgrade and provide a fruit platter, coconut, and a small cake. To be honest, the coconut wasn't great, but I'm currently staying at another hotel, twice the price of Sunshine No. 1, and their coconuts taste the same. Apparently, authentic Hainan coconuts are like that when they're too young. Still, I'm very grateful.

The restaurant was the biggest issue this stay. From what I understand, luxury hotels don't allow guests in bathrobes into the restaurant, especially for the buffet dinner. My friend and I were shocked. Slippers are one thing, especially in Hainan, but bathrobes?!

However, that lemon cheesecake was absolutely divine, incredibly delicious! From now on, if the Basque cheesecake maintains the same standard as that lemon cheesecake, no one will ever say it's bad again.

Also, if you ask for feedback, just listen to it and don't deflect blame; otherwise, don't ask for opinions in the first place. And about the eggs in the restaurant – there was a sign saying, 'To prevent salmonella, only fully cooked eggs are served,' but then they brought out a soft-boiled egg. I assumed that sign meant all egg products would be fully cooked, but even the omelets were runny. If that's the case, perhaps remove the sign.

Now I'm going to start praising again – I have to say, the travel photography service was genuinely good. My friend and I were instantly captivated; the photos turned out beautifully. And that ocean view from the room, I absolutely loved it! Sunshine No. 1, whatever else you say, the ocean view from your rooms is truly stunning, with the sunrise greeting you as soon as you open your eyes in the morning. Last time, I also complained about the concierge being unresponsive, but this time, the concierge service was genuinely excellent.

The biggest advantage of your hotel is that you listen to feedback. All the issues I complained about last time have been resolved, which is fantastic, truly fantastic! It deserves a five-star review. I once again thank all the duty managers, and I will definitely be back.

Thanks to our butler Nick for being so responsive and accommodating. This is my second visit, and the breakfast, the 'Green House' (restaurant name?), and 'Yimian' (another restaurant?) were all delicious. The cleaning staff even folded our clothes, and the lobby smelled lovely. Everything was great, except for the mosquitoes being a bit numerous.

The hotel's philosophy is environmental protection, with eco-friendly decorations throughout the park and in the rooms. The breakfast is amazing, and the freshly squeezed juice is delicious – truly the best breakfast among luxury hotels in Sanya. The infinity pool is perfect for photos, and the view from the Sky Bar is beautiful. To get to the beach, you need to go through the hotel's underground passage, which is less than a 10-minute walk and very convenient. This hotel is more suitable for couples looking for a quiet getaway. Hope to come back again next time!

The garden decorations are very artistic, with both negative space and lush vibrancy.

The butler service is very attentive. A special shout-out to Butler Lena for her excellent service, including a welcome gift and bath product samples.

The breakfast is abundant, and the afternoon tea is exquisitely decorated.

The hotel uses Panpuri for its bath products, which have a lovely herbal scent.

It's unique and different from traditional five-star hotels, making you feel like you're part of a natural garden.

The public areas have exquisite greenery, and the rooms are very clean and spacious. There was a lovely scent as soon as I walked in. I could see the sea right from the bed, and Wuzhizhou Island was visible from the left balcony. The right balcony had a small sofa, perfect for enjoying the cool sea breeze! I could even see the sea from the bathtub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our butler, Minnie, was responsible and attentive, always responding promptly to our requests. The Sky Bar staff were also lovely and spoke in a very pleasant manner. The breakfast was fantastic, and the freshly baked bread was delicious. Spending the evening at the pool was very relaxing, and it was generous of them to offer free inflatable rings. There was even a small speaker in the room, so playing music while watching the sea was an absolute delight! I highly recommend this room type; it's truly close to the sea! Overall, I definitely recommend it!

Let me start by saying that I mostly use Qunar, but while planning this trip, I discovered that Trip.com offers a concierge service. So, I booked the two most expensive hotels through them for easier communication. And indeed, the concierge, Minnie, contacted me in advance and reserved a room for me, which was a huge help, especially since it's peak season and I would have had to wait otherwise. Her attitude was excellent throughout, always proactively solving any issues 👍 Thumbs up to her! 😊👍

Sunny One was the most satisfying hotel of this trip. We booked a pool access room, which was incredibly convenient. There were few people, so we could enjoy ourselves however we wanted. Before arriving, I was worried the first floor might be damp, but it wasn't at all. We even encountered a giant snail, which my child absolutely loved and watched for a long time.

Sunny One's breakfast was truly exceptional 👍 It even surpassed some well-established five-star hotels. The outdoor environment of the hotel is also great, with many picturesque spots. The complimentary afternoon tea was also delightful, and watching the sunset from the swings on the ninth floor was incredibly comfortable and beautiful. The beach was a 10-minute walk away, so we only went once in the evening, as it was too hot during the day. The wind in Haitang Bay is really strong; umbrellas don't stand a chance.

Summary: Excellent, I'll definitely go again!
