1. Contrary to what others mentioned, there was no staff member to guide me, help with luggage, or introduce the hotel. I had to manage everything myself.
2. As an onsen hotel, there should be more towels and bath towels in the room. The current supply is only enough for one soak. You either have to dry them yourself to reuse or go ask for more, which is inconvenient.
3. Compared to other hotels, room service dining is quite expensive. While I'd be willing to pay more for quality, the exact same (expensive) room service meal I ordered the night before appeared fresh and plentiful at the breakfast buffet the next morning. It really made the room service price feel not worth it.
Hygiene: In winter, all private hot spring rooms were fully booked, but the cleaning was still very thorough.
Environment: The hotel's internal fragrance isn't as pleasant as the Ritz's; it's a bit overpowering. There are many family-friendly attractions nearby, making it very suitable for those with children.
Service: We only managed to check in at 3:30 PM, and a staff member had to guide us. The room was really far away...
