I booked the guest house and waiting in front of the door nobody answered.. with no wifi and nobody to call at 10pm...finally I had to find about place to stay ..the day after I arranged with the owner to change the dates instead because i was staying 7 days in HK .The only thing it's the location otherwise as single woman traveling better to avoid! The guy from the reception an Indian men offert me to give me a foot massage since I look tiered ...which I find it strange .

I advise against staying there just to save money. The area downstairs is a melting pot of people from all over, and the hygiene and safety are questionable... Take my advice.

Trying to be as impartial as I can be, this was by far the worst place we stayed at during our 2 month time abroad. Service basically couldn’t find our reservation when arriving there night of, the entire building to get there is not only extremely confusing but also incredibly disgusting, and the room itself was cramped and uncomfortable. The shower was disgusting, the beds basically didn’t have a blanket, and we saw multiple cockroaches during our one night stay. If possible I would recommend finding any other place that might be at all close in price.

The sound of dripping air conditioning outside is not suitable for people who are sensitive to noise. I booked a room with two beds, but they took me to the double room.

It's reasonably priced considering its convenient location right near Tsim Sha Tsui Station in the center of Hong Kong. However, as soon as I arrived at the front desk, I was shown to a completely different accommodation (or rather, room) called "KYOTO guesthouse" than the one I had booked. I felt like I was "assigned" to an available room.
Because the price is low, I have no complaints about the hygiene and service, but it's not suitable for people who are willing to pay a lot for hygiene and service.
The elevators are slow to come, so getting around is difficult. (I was on the 15th floor? I had to take quite a few stairs to get to the 13th floor.)

Seems like a nice place at first, but then:
You have to wait for seats.
The order takes a while to get to the table. Water is dripping from the ceiling onto you or your plate.
The beef (dish n.1) is plastic like.
The dish n.2 is called spicy but none of us were able to eat it, and the noodles were cold (yes the dish is supposed to be cold, but it was freezing), and they refused to warm it up a little.
So you pay 80$HK for a dish were you can only eat the dumplings (which were good and warm by the way).
Very disappointed by the food, and even more by how the employees reacted (they just laughed at us because we couldn't eat the entire plate).

What you display on ur menu(pictures) is NOT what u serve at all and ur side vegetables are a fraction of the size as it shows in the picture

Long waiting time during lunch. When I go inside the smell like a stink bomb here, noodles taste is worse than 5 years ago as well as the service, a bit disappointed ?

The tomato soup based udon was not rich, but still ok. I would prefer going to some other udon places to get the tomato soup based udon. The beef appetizer is pretty good on the other hand. Love their idea of putting a pig head fish cake to the udon to add some cuteness lol

Hot udon is good, but used to be better before. Soup is tasty though a bit oily. Snacks are just of normal standard.
