There is a smoking smell around the walk way.

Very polite and helpful staff. The hotel is also very conveniently located at the Zhonglou Station. Lots of eateries around, near a lot of attractions.

Good hotel with great location near waterfront and historical buildings. Room was clean and cozy. Hotel is designed in the modern style. I liked the atmosphere. Thanks!

I found the hotel stay quite comfortable. The location to the local shops and metro was very convenient. All essentials and room were serviced daily. The daily breakfast, which i bought separately was of a high standard. The only negatives are there was no in room WiFi as stated in the amenities (this was provided by my previous hotel in Beijing in checkin). The other inconvenience is having to carry my heavy luggage up 20 steps from the Bell Tower metro station exit to reach the hotel entrance. As the hotel entrance is not directly in front of a driver pickup zone, I had to arrange for tour pickups from West street.

Excellent location, after we found it (it really is tucked away, even the taxi driver struggled). The staff were helpful and friendly.

The lift did absolutely stink of rotting and mould, so we avoided that, luckily we were only on the 2nd floor.

Good location.

No refrigerator.

Don't expect too much for breakfast. The only meat served is dry chicken.

No supermarket nearby, only small convenient store.

I liked the installations and the service of the young lady - practitioner from the Front desk. Tea amenities were good and the breakfast was great!

Avoid this tourist trap! To start off, the waitresses took advantage of our limited Chinese by lying to us and saying they were not serving individual dishes and we must get the dumpling "banquet," which was 98 Yuan ($14 USD) per person for about 15 tiny, mediocre tasting dumplings per person. Then they told us tea would be 60 Yuan ($9 USD); they didn't give us water until after we refused to pay for tea (they then also brought out the free tea after failing to sell the extremely overpriced tea). Then during our meal the servers came over about 4 times to sell us things like pastries, boxes of ginseng, bottles of medicine, etc and went on and on about how these were great for health, treats this and that, etc. Don't go here unless you want to be lied to, ripped off, and have your meal interrupted by constant sales pitches.
