The room was spacious and had an 'old money' vibe. The location was super convenient, with a direct view of the Bamboo Shoot Tower at the Panda Base from upstairs. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant was good, allowing us to try several dishes with their smaller portions. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I visit the pandas.

The hotel is about a 30-minute taxi ride from the city center and a 10-minute taxi ride from the Panda Research Base. We booked the panda-themed family room, which was full of panda elements – the cups, slippers, and bedding were all adorable. You can even see the pagoda of the Panda Base in the distance. Less than a 10-minute walk downhill from the hotel, there's a neighborhood with ground-floor shops selling snacks. The Neijiang noodles were cheap and delicious, and there was also Zou Cungu Chuanchuan – for someone who hasn't tried Sichuan hotpot, it was incredibly flavorful! Plus, it was an easy walk back to the hotel. They have parking available. When taking a taxi, remember to set your destination to the hotel lobby. The room service was excellent. We accidentally broke a glass, and when we told the front desk, the first thing she asked was if we were injured, which was really thoughtful and made us feel cared for. All in all, compared to other hotels that were easily over a thousand yuan during the May Day holiday, this one offered great value for money.

The room was clean and odor-free, and the children's amenities were comprehensive (the kids' shampoo and body wash were a great touch!). The disposable slippers were high-quality and the panda design was unique.

There's a bathtub, which my baby loved for a soak.

**Transportation:** Getting around means either taking a taxi, or there are shared e-scooters and a bus stop about 300-400 meters away. The nearest subway station is about 3-4 kilometers from the hotel, so a taxi is still needed.

**Hotel Activities:** The May Day activities were fantastic! My daughter absolutely loved the go-karts (one free 6-lap ride was included, and the track was spacious with pleasant scenery; even at 78 RMB per ride, it was a good value). We also got one free Switch game session and there's a ball pit.

**Hotel Dining:** The buffet is 188 RMB, and kids under 1.2 meters eat free (I was tempted, but we ended up trying some local Sichuan specialties). About 300-400 meters from the hotel, there's a Zoucungu Skewer Hotpot restaurant which is affordable, delicious, and authentic. For delivery, Aidalere's toast is very soft, and their panda toast is tasty – great for taking to the Panda Base for an energy boost.

On the second day, before heading to the Panda Breeding Base, we got face paint done at the hotel. All the other kids playing around were so envious (some parents even came to ask where we got it! 😁).

Finally, when checking out, they even gave us panda stickers, the perfect companion to keep the baby quiet!

The room facilities were a bit old but still relatively clean. The service attitude was good, and the breakfast was decent overall, with local specialties like noodles and rice vermicelli at the live cooking station. The large lawn behind the hotel and the church on the hill are great spots for a walk or for kids to play.

The room was great, and the front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly welcoming. The room key card was really unique and pretty. Breakfast wasn't crowded at all, which made for a pleasant experience. There were lots of activities for kids too. This hotel is definitely worth coming back to!

Hygiene: No issues found.
Environment: The location is very close to the Panda Base, perfect for an early morning visit to see Hua Hua. It's actually situated in the center of the Poly 198 development, facing a lake. The lobby has many adorable panda plushies.
Facilities: Meets five-star standards. The shower handle design is a bit awkward to use, but everything else is fine.
Service: They called me two days in advance to ask about my needs, which was excellent.

I knew the hotel was a bit old when I booked it, so I was prepared. However, after checking in, it was much better than I expected! 👍 The room was quite spacious; aside from the bed being a bit small, the other facilities didn't feel outdated at all. The lobby, breakfast area, and Chinese restaurant all looked quite new and nice! 👍 The service was also excellent~

I highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Chengdu Poly Park! The hotel's overall decor is high-end and stylish, the public areas are clean and elegant, and the greenery is exceptional, making it very pleasant for a stroll. The guest rooms are spacious and airy with excellent natural light, and the cleanliness is impeccable, with perfect attention to detail. The breakfast offers a rich variety, fresh ingredients, and a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western flavors. My stay was fantastic and definitely deserves a five-star recommendation! Also, the service was very thoughtful; they even helped prepare children's toiletries. Lora also proactively asked about my room preferences, which was a very kind touch. The hotel's environment is superb, with a large lawn that's great for photos. I had a very satisfying stay and will definitely come again if I have the chance!

The Crowne Plaza Chengdu Poly Park, once the first five-star hotel in the northern part of the city, is ideally located near attractions like the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Chengdu Botanical Garden, and Manhua Manor. It's a great choice for tourists, as you can head straight to see the pandas right after breakfast!

This stay, I was in a deluxe suite on the Club Floor, boasting a spacious 120 square meters. The living area was divided into a reception area, a dining area, and even an automatic mahjong entertainment zone. The TV was a bit too small, almost feeling like a decorative piece, but surprisingly, it came with a Bose soundbar and an embedded fireplace. The minibar was rather sparse, offering only one sachet of pour-over coffee and two tea bags, which felt a bit stingy. The bathroom featured a standard dual-sink design but lacked a smart toilet. The toiletries weren't the usual Bvlgari found in CPs; they seemed to be from a partner brand chosen by the owner.

The executive lounge on the 21st floor is now completely closed. Guests with executive privileges need to go to a designated area in the all-day dining restaurant for happy hour, as afternoon tea is no longer offered. The happy hour quality was good, featuring five hot dishes, two cold dishes, as well as desserts, fruits, salads, bread, and soup. Breakfast offered a variety of local specialties, including Leshan preserved meat glutinous rice balls and freshly made pork buns, along with panda latte art coffee. The warm and attentive service was particularly impressive.

Poly CP also boasts an indoor heated pool and an outdoor sandy beach pool. Beyond that, there's a large expanse of forested green space and artistic installations perfect for wedding photography, all excellent spots for a post-dinner stroll.
