A hidden gem in the city.
This hotel is very quiet, located right across from Tiexiang Temple Riverfront Street.

It was not an easy place to find, and the hotel took a while to respond on Trip, so the pre communication to find the hotel could have been slightly better. The lobby looked great, checkin process was alright, the room was very comfortable. My favourite part was the tea table, and tea appreciation area, which I had used before checking out. Breakfast in the restaurant had sufficient seats and a good variety of food items as well. They also have a nice pickup/dropoff area for didi and cars.

The hotel is clean and elegant, with excellent service. It has a quiet and subdued ambiance overall. The breakfast area includes an outdoor section, perfect for dining al fresco on a nice day. The location is also great, very close to the metro station.

This hotel is located on Tianfu 1st Street, just across from Tiexiang Temple Water Street, which is quite lively with many restaurants around, making it very convenient for getting around. The rooms are quite elegant and clean, equipped with a tea table and gongfu tea set, which is great for having tea and chatting with friends. Breakfast is served in the Michelin restaurant downstairs. It's a bit small and the food selection isn't extensive, but it's still good. The only downside is that the tea provided is too little. I called the front desk to ask for more, but they said it was a fixed amount. How much is a 'fixed amount,' though? 3 or 5 grams? That's not even enough for one brew.

I booked this for a colleague, and the feedback was excellent. The front desk staff was very welcoming, the room was spotless, and the soundproofing was great. I'd recommend it again if the opportunity arises, and I hope they maintain their quality!

When I first arrived at the hotel, the assigned room was reeking of cigarette smoke and I had to change to another room. The new room was okay, but the pillows also contained heavy smoke smell.

The room was stuffy with the heater on, and after opening the windows for ventilation, there were some mosquitoes.

The room design is down quite well, but unfortunately the toilet does not have a door and is tucked in a corner.

Location of the hotel is also about one hour away from the Chunxi road area (considering Chengdu’s traffic).

I will not choose to stay here for future trips.

The location is super convenient, just across the street from Shuijie (Water Street).
However, there was a faint smell of smoke and a damp feeling in the room, which I hope can be improved. The hotel breakfast could also be a bit more varied.
On the plus side, the hotel suite was very spacious and quiet.

The room insulation is excellent, so you won't be disturbed while sleeping. It's quite close to the subway, making it convenient to get around by walking or cycling. Plus, it's very near Tiexiang Temple Water Street, so you can easily walk there in the evening for some food and drinks, and the scenery is lovely.

The location was really hard to find. I had to drag my luggage around the area several times only to discover it was tucked away behind a large complex of buildings. While it was quiet, it also felt very dim and gloomy with unbright windows.

I was misled by the pictures on the app. The hotel is actually quite old with mediocre decor. The lobby on the first floor is decent with some Chinese-style elements. Perhaps the more expensive room types resemble the photos, but the standard room I booked was really subpar. The facilities are old and worn, and the soundproofing is poor. All areas of the hotel are dimly lit, seemingly to create an ambiance, but in reality, it just conceals the simple decor. Apart from its good location, there's really nothing else to commend it.

This summer, I brought my daughter to stay at the Chengdu Yinlu Hotel, and it was a great experience. The room had a tea table with delicious tea, and they even provided complimentary local Sanguantang beverages, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast 'saozi noodles' were incredibly tasty, and the afternoon tea was free. The environment was quiet and elegant. The staff were warm and attentive, providing excellent service. The hotel is located next to Shuijie, and it's very close to Global Center and SKP, making transportation convenient. There are also many dining options nearby. We stayed for two days and were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back!
