I love breakfast with ThaiChi?. Just one small thing... English is not spoken, or at least only at the front desk and some of the other staff members speak English.

Highly recommend. Service was fantastic. Food was wonderful too. The lounge service and food was also equally up to standard. There is a bit of tradeoff in terms of the distance from Chunxi or renming for the view of the city but it was worth it. Besides, if can book here, one can easily book a didi to get anywhere in town too without complaints.

Pros Old school 5-star hotel. Nice location and service. Wide spread breakfast. Nice view of twin towers. Nice amenities. Cons I booked all non-smoking rooms but some of them have strong smoke odor. Thin walls, you hear conversations from your neighbors.

Just perfect , placed in a very nice part of the city. In the front desk they speak English and what’s more they are very nice and helpful , that makes easier almost everything. The room was huge , clean and juste perfect with an outstanding view of the city. We definitely recommend it and we’ll stay here a gain if we come back one day.

room is huge, plenty of space for packing. however, the amenities seems rather lacking for a 5-stars hotel (no swimming pool, pillows were too thin, aircon makes dull noises whenever it is turned on). i’d say that this is the lower end of a 5-stars hotel. some of the 4-stars hotels that i’ve stayed in chengdu were almost on par with dorsett.

Hotel is next to Luomashi station, convenient if travel via train. During our stay, so happened there is annual 糖酒会. Hotel lobby is packed with exhibits and public. Lift waiting time were longer. We had a great stay at crown plaza in Chengdu. Breakfast selection is great . Gym has everything for a good workout. Front desk staff atina is a very nice and friendly hard worker, she helped us with everything even a slight late checkout.

Front desk manager, Ms Hu, was very helpful to extend my stay in the same room. There are many food options next to the hotel, Starbucks is not too far at a shopping mall across the other side of the main road.

The service and environment are excellent, but there are mosquitoes in the hotel room, and there are a lot of them. I was bitten seven or eight times in one night. I had to drive on the highway the next day, so I couldn't sleep all night. The air conditioner in the room was also very noisy, and there was no ventilation equipment in the toilet.
