From my western perspective I really liked this hotel. It was cheap with no surprises. The room was the clean, the bed comfortable and the view great. For my first night in China this was a great option because as a western chain, the Ibis had a certain minimum standard I could rely on whilst I still figured China out.

Compact but well-equipped room, perfect for a short stay! Beds are on the firmer side, which I personally love. Breakfasts exceeded expectations with more variety than I thought! Overall, great for a quick getaway!

The soundproofing is excellent, it's very quiet, and the room is well-equipped. The bedding is comfortable to sleep on, definitely good. The front desk service is on point, and the breakfast food is decent too. I'd highly recommend it.

The hotel itself was just ok, room were decent but nothing extraordinary and facilities fairly standard. However, what's truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staffs. They were friendly, attentive and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable even they can't speak English. While the hotel may be average, the staffs dedication makes it worth considering for stay.

It was nice staying. I liked breakfasts, they were good and different. And robot cleaner was cute and interesting. The staff was helpful. Metro is a bit 15 minutes walking.

Cheap and Cheerful place downtown ChengDu, and there's nothing wrong with it. You step outside the hotel and can walk around and see quirky things just around the corner (see photo). This is in keeping with the hotel which is pretty quirky, with its coffee bar and arty decor. Of course if you want to go upscale, that's easy as the hotel is next to expensive restaurant with 'western' style foods. We just went around the corner where a small restaurant made dumplings, great stuff. We didn't travel thousands of miles to eat same food we eat in 'da west'!!
