An unexpected delight! The room location was great, offering beautiful views of West Lake. The service was excellent; they thoughtfully added two extra days of breakfast for my child, which was a nice touch. The location is the most superb for this hotel, it’s near train and subway station so it’s very easy to get around. There are a lot of stores and restaurants around the hotel. The room was really wide.

Everything is great in this vintage hotel, but beware of the kids’ sports events at the university. If the university has a kids’ event, this hotel will be stocked with kids slamming doors and screaming.

During the May Day holiday, I went to visit West Lake in Hangzhou. I arrived in Xiaoshan the night before and checked into the hotel. The next day, after getting up early and having breakfast, I took the subway to West Lake.
