This is an old five-star hotel in Xiaoshan. I stayed here ten years ago and came back recently for something nearby. You generally can't go wrong with an old five-star, and apart from being a bit dated, everything else is perfectly fine. The room and overall environment are quite good!

This hotel could be considered a landmark in Xiaoshan, with its golden spire visible from trains and elevated highways. It's very popular with families and children, offering a swimming pool and a kids' club (pay once, and you can access it throughout your stay). The hotel's location is excellent, right on Beishan Street. Step outside and you're at the north entrance of Su Causeway. Breakfast was good, and the Hangzhou cuisine at the Chinese restaurant was authentic. I was also able to arrange a late check-out until 3 PM after speaking with the front desk.

The hotel's location is fantastic, right by West Lake, making it super easy to go for walks along the lake anytime. The breakfast spread is great, with both Chinese and Western options. You can even enjoy your breakfast with a view from the balcony. The shower pressure is strong, but the facilities are a bit dated.

Whenever I visit Hangzhou, I always stay at the Shangri-La Hotel. Its location is excellent, right on Beishan Street, directly opposite West Lake. The Su Causeway, Bai Causeway, Quyuan Garden (Lotus in the Breeze), and Yue Fei Temple are all nearby. It's also not too far from Baoshi Mountain, Broken Bridge, Wulin Night Market, and in77. I really love this hotel. The breakfast spread is quite generous...

Great location! Public transport and dining options are abundant nearby, making it super easy to get around by foot or subway. The breakfast is fantastic and highly recommended – it's practically a buffet, haha!

Despite a minor hiccup during check-in, Manager Ma quickly stepped in to help, and their excellent service attitude made for a very satisfying stay in the end. The massage chair was a lifesaver after hiking, really helping to ease the fatigue. Plus, having a mall and various restaurants nearby was really convenient.

For the May Day holiday, I chose this location which avoids traffic jams and offers convenient access to transportation and dining. Stayed two day i actually do love it

Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. The location is right next to the commercial district, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway, and when I couldn't find my way, the front desk even came out to guide me. Check-in was quick, and the staff were enthusiastic and thoughtful, proactively introducing the hotel facilities and local sightseeing...

Okay. But old building. The carpet at the hallway alao dusty. We book room with massage chair. Infront got one halal restaurant 'lanzhou lamien'. The toilet is not very clean. Doesnt look like Holiday Inn. Didnt try the breakfast.
