Hotel Villa Letan

As we french family we visited the hotel and we expected it really 4 stars hotel but it doesn't with thats room never deserve 4 stars as well as bad Bad treatment from the waiters, they have no manners or communication skills. The food is not good. The potatoes with grilled chicken were very salty. Also, the octopus in the buffet was insanely salty. In my opinion, there are many places better than this place.

I recently stayed at a hotel that claimed to be a 4-star establishment in Peroj, but my experience left much to be desired. It seems that the services were intentionally kept at a minimum threshold, and my overall impression was far from that of a 4-star quality. Upon entering my room, I realized that the hotel's claim did not align with the reality I encountered. The room, located in the basement, had a pervasive humidity issue, making the air uncomfortable and damp. This, coupled with the fact that I left something behind in my room and the hotel staff claimed they couldn't find it, added to my dissatisfaction. The bathroom experience was particularly dreadful. The front and shower cabin doors were visibly damaged, leaving me questioning the establishment's overall maintenance and cleanliness standards. This stay was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had, and it's disheartening to think that a hotel would provide such subpar accommodations under the guise of being a 4-star facility. I feel compelled to share my experience to alert other potential guests. The lack of attention to detail, the condition of the room, and the seemingly intentional disregard for guest comfort paint a concerning picture of this hotel's commitment to quality service. I hope my feedback encourages the hotel management to reevaluate their standards and make the necessary improvements to live up to the expectations of a 4-star establishment.

This should not be rated as a 4 star hotel. There is a feeling that everything is deliberately provided to a minimum service threshold. Inadequate air conditioning (really just noisy fans). I asked to change rooms but told hotel was full which it blatantly wasn’t. Rooms are small and don’t have any of the extras you would expect at 4 star, working fridge, soaps, shampoo, air conditioning. Staff were ok but gave the impression they weren’t happy about being there either. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so they pretty much have a monopoly on food and drinks which are definitely more expensive than other hotels in the region. Breakfast was a pretty sparse affair as well, big buffet serving area with little on it. I have to say rooms were very clean, WiFi worked and the swimming pool was nice, which is what I assume they use to pull the hotel over the 4 star line. Just a shame every aspect you would associate with a high quality hotel has been stripped out, apart from the price. Avoid.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by a wobbly wooden door from your room that can be opened with a spoon!? The room was stuffy and hot, and the room was without air conditioning - the 4-star hotel has no air conditioning ??? Extra beds for children are extremely uncomfortable, and the main beds are not the best either. There were no extra pillows in the closet. You expect from the any hotel at least to get some sleep, which was not the case with us. We left tired !!! The refrigerator was not turned on upon arrival, and there was no separate socket for it, so an extension cord was needed. When you leave the room all the electricity is turned off, so you can't leave your cell phone on charge while you have breakfast. The fridge doesn’t work while you’re away during the day so you can’t leave anything in it to cool. Dinner is served in several courses (not buffet service-only salads buffet) , and we waited 30 minutes for the waiter to bring us the menu. Dinner lasts over 2 hours in total. The idea is to get thirsty during that time, so you can order a drink, which is, of course, charged. There is no price list available!!! Classic taking money from guests, because the hotel is in a small town, away from shops and other facilities. The positives are that the young chef is very accommodating and the food is not bad. A welcome cocktail and a picnic basket are nice bonuses. The employees are friendly, the rooms are clean and we were offered various facilities that we did not manage to use - free bike rental, wellness 2h. We were out of season so the outdoor pool was out of order. There is a small children’s playground and a trampoline. The idea of ​​this hotel is not bad, but the performance and organization are not at the level that a guest would expect from a 4 star hotel.
