Overall average rating and a bit disappointed

Lots of reviews said staff very friendly however I didn’t feel the same . I suspect reviewers were taking about different staff.

There was 1 person there to do breakfast and deal with visitors. I think because it was end of season he was exhausted and I personally felt awkward asking for anything .

Beautiful location but need to get taxi euro 35 or uber 20 euro to go anywhere. Room spacious but lots of stairs so don't book if you are not very mobile . Bed changed 1x in a week and room not cleaned except clean towels and bin emptied daily Breakfast very mediocre . Pizza restaurant 5 minute walk excellent Beach very pretty

Arrived at the hotel around 10:30 at night in the pitch dark only to find no one there to welcome us or check us in. A note was left on the hotel door with not very clear instructions to find the room which wasn’t too easy humping our cases up several flights of stairs. You need to be pretty fit to stay in the top apartments! It took a while to find it. Not what we wanted after a tiring journey and was not exactly late arrivals. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable if a little basic and old fashioned. We had upgraded to a sea view room but it was just a partial view and not the best to be honest. Was not really worth the upgrade as we didn’t use the balcony as was too overlooked. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Breakfast was disappointing. Particularly as there was only cheap instant coffee available! The waiter would cook eggs if requested but the buffet wasn’t particularly exciting. It would have been more bearable if you could have a decent coffee! The resort itself is very small with just a small beach, restaurant and a pizza place/bar but was fine for us. The swimming pool is not very inviting so we didn’t use it. All in all it was just ok and we still had a great holiday but would definitely not stay there again.

Just got back from a fortnight staying at Villa Lanterna...location is nice but the accommodation is poor...room wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there...only service provided was towels and toilet rolls when we requested them...bedding changed 3 days into holiday then left the rest of the time.
Reception, drivers and kitchen staff were very pleasant and helpful...housekeeping not so much.
