go for the ferries and save yourself some serious dollar and if you head on over to Dubrovnik, DON'T TAKE CLOTHES because that place gets HOT HOT HOT! Seriously, go early before the sun is radiating and be sure to hydrate

You have to pay for the snacks in the refrigerator, and you have to pay for the chips outside the refrigerator, just don't touch them

What an amazing hotel, set on a peninsula the panoramic views are awesome. Opt for a sea view room and it will feel like you are on a cruise without the movement! Cavtat is a beautiful place totally unspoiled

Just back from Hotel Croatia and had a fantastic stay. Hotel overlooking the sea staff in the restaurant and Piano bar lovely very pleasant. Not sure why some complain about the staff or food

A beautiful hotel located about 25 minutes drive south of Dubrovnik and just 5 minutes away from the airport. The hotel is walking distance to many great restaurants in Cavtat

Got upgraded to a sea view room for an extra €50 per night. great value as the morning coffees overlooking the sea and the glorious sunsets became a highlight of the holiday. Would defo return to the hotel / area

Great experience! Sun Gardens is the perfect resort to enjoy a family trip to Dubrovnik. The staff can help arrange plenty of family-friendly/kid-friendly activities (visit islands, visits to Old Town, etc

The hotel is a stunning oasis of luxury and comfort. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm hospitality and an elegant atmosphere.

On one occassion, we saw the staff in the corridor and asked them to clean. There could have been more in the way of a welcome pack. For example, some ground coffee, milk, etc

Hotel provides shuttle bus services to old town (8 euro per person one way) and taxi services to airport (60 euro). Hotel staff are in general very nice. Shortcoming are the lunch/dinner restaurants

(The only drawback is that the drinks and snacks in the mini bar need to be charged separately. The hotel did not inform in advance. Maybe different hotel models are different

It's great. There are lots of fun things to do on the beach. The sea is crystal clear. There are five delicious restaurants nearby. The rooms are all facing the sea.

Trying to get coffee at Breakfast was even a task. Drink is extremely expensive and the lunch and evening meal we had there was very poor quality

Great hotel. Facilities are fantastic - private swimming area was a particular plus.  Comfy big bed, good breakfast with lots of choices, easy bus to old town, great staff were among our highlights.

The location of the hotel is excellent! The scenery and the sunsets are breathtaking. Good facilities, friendly staff and there’s a bus that takes you to the old town which was very convenient

It was an amazing stay that is still only a short ride to the city center. Great amenities and chill atmosphere, when you need it, away from the hectic city. We will stay here again.

Great hotel away from Old Town. We tended to relax by the pool until early afternoon then head into Old Town via the No 4 bus that stops outside the hotel - fantastically convenient

Always got sun beds in the shade which suited us. Hotel prices are only slightly more than those in Old Town

The Lacroma hotel was lovely - good location. Disappointed that the outdoor pool was so cold but nice that the indoor pool was easily accessible from the same area and was lovely and warm

Pool bar not open at that time of year but think this could be extended to take account of the UK school holidays. Air con was switched off too - again this could have been left until UK school holidays were finished

But it didn't! The staff was great, especially those that work in a restaurant. Buffet was rich, with plenty of food for various types of diets. Champagne for a New Year's eve

The hotel manager, aka Valamar, is this cute grey cat who sits waiting for you each day, just outside the bar doors. He meows and purrs each morning to say hello. He is keeping this entire place in tip-top condition

If you like "all inclusive type meals" they are really good here. We were not on that plan but chose to eat here a few nights. Staff was super nice and attentive

They have a salt room, steam room, igloo room, a turkish bath, indoor pool, warm pool, cold pool, rainforest shower. we went to the pool and in the sea off the cliffs everyday and it was just wonderful

The hospitality was wonderful and all requests were catered promptly. The breakfast buffet had a huge delicious spread. It's 20 min walking distance from the Old city

Hotel is old and not value for money. View is nice especially all restaurants are faced to beach.

One of the most scenic hotels to stay in. We were 2 Friends and booked a Superior Room. A lovely view of the Adriatic was seen from our balcony. The rooms were clean and spacious

Apart from that the location was excellent, the sea swimming from the hotel was delightful - even in November, the terrace for drinks and snacks had spectacular views across the sea to Dubrovnik and was invigorating and relaxing in equal measure

In the afternoon when it gets too hot, you can come back to the hotel for a siesta or chill by the deck chairs. House keeping was great with constant refreshing of the room

Impressive hotel in beautiful location. Rooms standard soundproofing helps to enjoy. Not for people who want busy area with lots restaurants as very quite low key blissful. Food good lots variety and quality

The Admiral Grand is located in a peaceful and beautiful bay, with a selection of good restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful and great for a relaxing break

A beautiful peaceful and quiet hotel, set on the beach with fantastic views. The hotel has exceeded our expectations so far, lovely room, excellent food and extremely helpful staff. I think we are going to enjoy it here.

One critic: The room door's are not isolated you hear everything coming from the corridor, that is unpleasant, definitely something to work on in a future refurbishment. Otherwise, continue on that same trajectory

Only negatives i can really find was that there were no double beds in the rooms, only 2 single beds joined together to lake a double, I had called and the man at reception said this was the case for the whole hotel

We were pleasantly suprised by the access to 6 different pools on arrival to our hotel including 1 on the rooftop. There was a lovely gym, spa on site also with access to all. Breakfast was great each morning

Had a great stay at the Royal Princess Resort. The hotels are all part of the same group so you can use the facilities across the properties. The walkway from the promenade into Lapad was so beautiful

The location was perfect, right on the bay with great views, and the perfect view of the sunset each night. There was a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away, which was just a €2 trip to Old Town

Beaches are super clean and the staff could not be nicer. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay so incredibly memorable. Dubrovnik city is only a quick Uber away

The staff were friendly, more so those in the Vista Bar who were very helpful than at the reception but nevertheless, still friendly

Not up to 5-star standards You sold me an ocean view, I got a mountain view, a parking lot view, and a side view. The reception They didn't take my half-board into account. I didn't have a meal the first night

The entire resort was fantastic. We had access to many restaurants and bars. We loved the rooftop pool and bar. There were attentive staff ready to get you a drink or help with a lounger or umbrella

The restaurant closed at 9:30 p. , just in time for the breakfast. They didn't offer me anything since there are paid restaurants, but there's room service

This is actually a royal hotel resort, and there are several restaurants, swimming pools, and parking lots shared by several hotels

It was perhaps too expensive for me, but at the table I did see wine served, plus six macaroons. I had asked from the beginning if I could have my room, even if I paid a supplement, because of a late flight at 7:30 p

The response was negative, too many reservations. I was given two shared shower stalls at the spa, which were not cleaned between each guest. I had to walk around with my clothes in my hands until I got to the spa

The beach was wonderful, breakfast could be better as there is no change on the menu so every day is the same and pastries cold look better, staff very friendly, charges made to the room very difficult to understand when they give you the final statement as there is no regards between what you know you paid at restaurants and the way they show you the charges at the reception on the day you are leaving

Manager met us on the dock and greeted us, showed us around. The sea views from our room were amazing. Each night I wanted to watch the sunset, best place to watch was from our balcony

We had a wonderful stay at the Imperial Hilton. Location great very near the Pila gate, to enter the old town. The room was big, clean and added bonus it has a balcony to chill out

Nice service as expected from a 5-star hotel. Very good breakfast with terrace seat available. The only downside is that the pool is in the basement floor with dim lighting.

Breakfast was lavish and served on the terrace which was bright and lovely trees surrounding it. Great indoor pool and sauna and steam room

We had the most amazing stay here a week ago. The staff we just wonderful, rooms bright and clean with fabulous see views. The restaurant was first class, we ate in Vapor twice it was so god and couldn't fault it

The location of the hotel is very good. You can see the glass sea from the balcony. You can take the elevator directly to the beach. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to the ancient city

Best views The hotel was very modern with beautiful biews everywhere. The room spacious and beautiful. The food at the restaurant was fantastic and it was located very close to the old town

In general this is a great hotel with great services and foods. Very nice sea views!!  Only issue is the lift lobby on 1st floor which we stayed has  an odd smell and my toilet has a little smell too.

We stayed at Aminess Bellevue Village (bungalows next to hotel) for 8 nights. The room interior was very basic but clean. The sound isolation is not the best so you can hear the noise from the upper room

You can easily visit Korcula island as there are both passenger and car ferries and the ride is only 15 min. We had bed and breakfast booked and often had dinner in town which is a lovely 15 min walk from the hotel

The hotel pool is clean and plenty of sun chairs with amazing view of the sea and Korcula island. The breakfast is served in a room with amazing sea views again

Such a brilliant small hotel - the staff do an incredible job of looking after you with amazing personal service. It really is a little slice of luxury with fabulous interior design, great breakfast and incredible views.

We booked a deluxe double room with balcony and sea view at Villa Argentina and upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite in the adjoining Villa Orsula! The suite felt like it had been refurbished recently and the finish was modern and classy

You do not have to be an athlete but you do get exercise! A rare htel that we would definitely return to but alas not until 2024 as the adjoining Argentia Hotel which shares facilities with Orsual is being re-developed at the end of 2022

Amazing room views spectacular all staff were very friendly especially Steven on reception and the pool staff loved every minute of our 3 day city break and so easy to walk to the old town thankyou to all the staff

Aside from the room, the hotel staff were superb and couldn't do enough for us, the breakfast offered was great and the atmosphere in the hotel was very quiet and chilled which was exactly what we were looking for

Firstly Dubrovnik- a wonderful town/city with exceptional history. The safest place we have been in Europe- never once saw anything of any concern or even a policeman

All the accommodations are really clean, and there are plenty of sunbeds near the pool (pool with a great view) and the sea. The restaurant is very very good

I can honestly say I could not find one thing wrong marks out of 10 was 12. The breakfasts were lovely a mix between hot cooked and cold and omg even cakes. The pool is not heated but it's a lovely change from the heat

The hotel along with most accommodation is up the hill from hell but the views make it all perfect. It was our anniversary while we were there and the hotel provided a delicious bottle of fizz

I hope I got their names right because I would always mess up their names and we would laugh about it. Oh and great location just a few hundred meters north of town but near to a market and a quick walk to the ferry

A minor thing was no hot pot so I had to regretfully ask Marine every once in awhile to put some hot water in my coffee cup so I could make decaf coffee

The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I stayed in early May and Marine and Nicolina at the front desk were amazing

When I checked out I was running a little late for the ferry and Marine was kind enough to give me a quick ride to town!
