We had never been to Croatia and we decided to

Our 3 day glamping experience left us disappointed. We might have enjoyed our stay much more had we known that the map of the campsite is VERY misleading. We chose a 3 bedroom tent, the most expensive on offer, located by what looks like an extension of the beach on the map but is actually inaccessible dense scrub. Our tent had zero shade and the A/C was no match for the heat so we were very uncomfortable in the tent, except after about 1am when it had cooled sufficiently. Walking around the campsite we realized that most other tents have decent shade, even the least expensive among them. I believe the 3 bedroom tents were added most recently as they are among the furthest from reception. Aside from the tent location issue, there is much to praise. The campsite is very well kept, the staff are friendly, communicative and efficient, and the tents are very nice. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the well stocked kitchenette. The beach is stony but if you have water shoes you'll really enjoy immersing yourself in the Adriatic. There is an aquatic park across the water (reachable via the nearby bridge) that kids of all ages will enjoy. We were pleased with the quality of the massages on offer at the spa. There is an exercise tent with dumb bells and kettlebells but it is only open during spa hours, thus not before 8am. If having a hammock is important to you, be sure to request it when you reserve and again at check in. We requested it in advance but had to wait a day for one to be relocated from another tent. Unfortunately, given the lack of shade, we weren't able to use it much but appreciated management's effort to deliver one. There is a grocery store which sells a limited range of fruit and veg, breads and various products including pasta and rice, canned beans, etc., so it is possible to self-cater without leaving the campsite. Prices were reasonable. There are also a few restaurants and cafes on site. We found the quality of the food similar to what we could find in the nearby towns.

Arena One is a lovely place, nicely laid out, clean, the hot tubs and beach are perfect but.. if you are looking for a good night’s sleep this may not be the place for you! Although the property has quiet time from 12-7am, the awful, loud and frankly poor quality, dance music from across the bay echoes through the campsite , pulsating you awake and vibrating through your bones till it finishes at 4am. I don’t know if we were just unlucky (maybe there was a rave boat near by), but I was close to tears after being awake for hours.
Considering we only stayed one night and check in is at 4pm and you have to be out by 10am, having half the time ruined was very disappointing!
However, if you love bad dance music through the night then this place is perfect! The campsite is beautiful and well kept, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the facilities are great!

This site is a stunning spot for an easy trip. Easily accessible via uber or taxi from the airport, really looked after site with stunning views. Travelled as a solo traveller and felt completely safe. Would also recommend for families and groups of friends. If you were staying longer than 3/4 days, a car would be a great addition to enjoy more of the area. Food was great at the Blue beach bar, the main restaurant, and restaurants just outside the site. The wellness area is a great addition but be sure to reserve a time slot for the hot tub

What a fun place! All the amenities of a hotel (even daily maid service) but in a tent and the “experience” of camping. The beach was great. The restaurant was lovely. The staff was very attentive. We were there towards “the end of the season” so it was very quiet and calming. Mostly adults during this time. Everyone was very respectful of the nighttime and early morning hours. The little town of Medulin, a 5 minute drive, had avocado toast - for those who might be looking for that expensive treat!

fantastic structure, the only advice I feel like giving is to assign the beach loungers directly upon arrival

This is such a well ran resort. The tents are impeccable and comfortable, the area is clean and safe, and the staff are attentive and considerate. I only wish I could have stayed longer!

We have been visiting Camping Arena Pomer Glamping Camp for six years and are happy to share our experiences. The campsite boasts outstanding facilities, tented accommodation, cleanliness and cleanliness, which are undoubtedly of the highest standard. The sports centre and surf school stand out as they offer the highest quality services and the staff are always friendly and professional. The prices for hiring sports equipment are reasonable and affordable. However, this year we must express our disappointment with the beach restaurants and the main restaurant. The quality of service of the restaurants has been declining over the years, and this year we have experienced a real disaster. The offer is no longer a shadow of what it was a few years ago. Another disappointment this year is the change in the opening hours of the campsite shop, which closes at 14:00. Nevertheless, we will give the campsite another chance next year, mainly because of the beautiful nature and the excellent sports centre. If the situation does not improve, we will consider spending our holidays elsewhere.

This place is really lovely - it has an amazing location on a fairly quiet bay with pebble beach. It’s absolutely huge too with a few different types of tents to choose from. The facilities are great - we tried all 3 restaurants and were really pleased with the quality and value for money. The little on site coffee bar is great too, as is the small shop. The staff were helpful and pleasant everywhere around the site; reception, spa, restaurants. We also enjoyed some time on the water after renting paddle boards and paddle boat from the on site water sports kiosk. Being given your own bikes to use during the stay was great - the site is very hilly though, with some really steep walks, so getting around by bike was a challenge at times. However…regrettably, we never had a good nights sleep. There was a very loud and rowdy group staying one night chanting drinking songs, swearing and shouting which echoed throughout the site. We did ask reception to deal with them, but they continued the party for quite some time. Also, the area is very prone to high winds. It literally rattles the tents. The wind howls, the tent ropes creak and the material flaps quite violently; I’m usually a heavy sleeper, but I couldn’t sleep a wink with the amount of noise going on. Absolutely not the sites fault - just something to be aware of that most definitely hindered our stay. We did also have a huge ant problem in the tent. We asked the reception team to deal with it, and they sent someone with spray, but unfortunately it wasn’t effective.
