Dining scrum not relaxing or enjoyable. I note the same concerns about the dining chaos from other reviewers go back years. Nothing has changed. Perhaps the numerous German guests accept such chaos but many don't. Unless you like queuing in a works canteen and then hunting for a table it's not for you. It's a nice hotel otherwise but the dining experience ruins it.

We chose this hotel because we wanted to experience staying on a small island. It was really nice, the ship from Rovinj to the island drives every hour, which makes trips to Rovinj really easy. Parking is 1.5km away from island reception, but they have shuttle service. So when you arrive, you drop the luggage at reception and drive behind shuttle van to park your car on a secured parking spot. Then...

First of i want to say that the exterior of the hotel is poor, ragged and old, really ugly. The parking is far away and ugly. Your car will get dirty. The rooms are clean and nice,pretty big. The bathroom big and clean and modern, however the shower is pretty bad, clogged so the water pressure is so low that you can't shower properly. Probably limescale. Good hotel, great location with its own park and beach. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas available. Only the breakfast room gets a bit busy in the morning. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a very nice room with a view of the park and the bay. The breakfast had a huge selection, everything you could wish for. However, I find the price of the Aperol Spritz in the bar at €11.50, which comes with a lot of ice, very overpriced. The receptionist drove our car to the parking lot, which was great service. We'll definitely spend our short break there again!

Fantastic stay! Wonderful stay at Lone. Beautiful property with wide range of amenities. The breakfast was amazing and the walk to the old city was beautiful.

It was another lovely stay. The room was clean, but a bit worn. The loungers on the beach are old and some of them are worn out. They could be repaired or replaced. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The staff in all areas is extremely friendly and helpful. There are still no hand showers in the showers.

Amazing experience for kids. Not a single dull moment for them, playgrounds and pools inside and out, activities all day for every age group from 10 to 21h. Nice park, a lot of trees which give necessary shade. For disabled people sometimes difficult to get to some parts of the resort. Resort has many activities, pools or rentals. The room had a few issues with light switches, the AC has a range no lower than 23°C, which resulted in a bit high temperatures. Our room had a really nice balcony view of the sea, but this doesn't apply for most rooms.

This place wants to be a 3 star (sells itself as a 4 star even...) but it's a 2 star in some aspects. The apartments are quite solidly built but some details are very dated and lower quality. Like the fan in the toilet and bathroom - so noisy that it wakes up everybody. Some doors squeak badly. There are many ants in many of the apartments. Take anti mosquito with you... If you think you booked a cheap vacation, you're wrong. The accommodations are well priced but everything else costs money. The pools are filled with salt water, which I find very annoying. The beach is great for snorkeling and relaxing. It consists of pebbles and rocks. Some are sharp so bring good water shoes or buy them at the resort. An unforgettable stay that we would like to repeat, as we were only passing through for one night. The location, the service and the opportunity to use the extensive spa facilities of the neighboring hotel were top notch.

We spent one great week in the hotel Monte Mulini in Juli with our boy and our baby! The restaurant team was really friendly and made everything to fulfill our wish (a big thank for picking our baby food from the freezer every day) and a big thank also for the 2 ladies Lejla and Vedrena at the spa, which helped me to relax :) we are looking forward to see you again, kind regards, Frederique

The island is gorgeous, a place which is close to the nature and isolated to have a wonderful rest. The hotel was also fantastic, I especially liked the local specialities served before dinner. The service and the atmosphere was absolutely worth the price, I honestly recommend this place to everyone who wants to escape from the noise of big cities.

Everything about this hotel is amazing!!! But the best part of it is kids club. The staff working there is highly educated and they are simple outstanding. The way they play and work with the kids is on another level compare to anywhere else. There is an option of having a nanny service, as well. We are so grateful to Maja who took care of our two sons. I would like to go back to that hotel next year...

The room was large, normal bathroom and central location. Excellent service with electric shuttle which allows for convenient arrival with luggage. I know that outside Italy you have to expect a lower standard, but considering the excessive price paid in June, the absence of a real breakfast and the staff not being present all the time make it seem more like a B&B. Amazing experience at a Michelin rexommend restaurant and tasting room. The wine tasting is a must. Beautiful location, nice pool areas, hit and miss with restaurant. Our group had one morning with very poor service for breakfast (over hour wait), but the next morning was quick and tasty. We were not excited by dinner one night, but the next night we enjoyed our meal except for the chain-smoking of cigars behind us and inability to move tables despite our request and several empty tables at time...

Beautifully decorated ambience. Very tasty food. Friendly and approachable staff, all inquiries were done with a smile on their face. The food is very tasty. Also, they offer their own wine which is very good. Prices are high, but I would say the offer justifies such a price.

The hotel is located opposite the ancient city, and the scenery is definitely unmatched by other hotels. However, the interior decoration is not worthy of the room rate of about 4,500. The hotel is long, but there is only one place with an elevator. Our room is far from the elevator, and we have to walk a long way to the elevator every time. The hotel has an unparalleled sea view, with an unobstructed view of the ancient city. The sunset over the ancient city is spectacular, it is a must! !

Villa was very clean, nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly, and reception was very helpful. Beach was 5 minutes walk and plenty sun lounge and pools was big with plenty sun lounge. I stayed at the Villas Rubin hotel in May for two nights HB. Accommodation was in a bungalow on the ground floor. This is probably the reason why you smell a bit of moisture. Tucked away on a small street you'll be greeted by really cool staff. They were eager to suggest cool places to visit and there are many here. You can walk everywhere. Breakfast area is so cute but needs a bit of air movement like a fan. It can get a bit stuffy. Rooms are small but clean and the bathroom gives plenty of room for everything you've brought.

Absolute top notch in every way. Service level felt like we were a couple of VIP celebrity guests! Extremely attentive and on the ball with everything. Picked us up at a private parking lot, saving us the drive down those narrow streets and then brought us to the hotel door via electric shuttle car. Room was cozy and bed was incredibly comfortable! Excellent hotel on a good location in Rovinj. Staff is really at your service. We arrived one hour after working hours and announced it to the owners but that was not a problem. Good breakfast, clean facilities, lift available, parking available.

This is a newly refurbished, modern, hotel with a good position for walking into town and the harbour. Really comfortable bed and the the best hotel pillow I have ever had. We just had the standard room and it was immaculate, spacious with a great en suite and shower. I highly recommend this little gem as a great breakfast too with something for everyone.

The environment inside and outside the hotel is very different. The outside is super five-star: the swimming pool, greenery, and beach are all top-notch👍, but the room is too simple and small: the furniture is old, slippers and drinking water are not provided, the bathroom and room are too small, and it is very difficult to open the suitcase. We stayed here 3 nights and it was all that we needed for our last 3 days in Rovinj ending our 3 weeks holiday in Croatia! The quality of service and hospitality was incredible. The hotel itself is quaint and tucked away from the crowds, yet a 2 minute walk to the town center. Comfortable boutique hotel on the outskirts of Rovinj. Beach close by, but a fair distance to the centre of town. As you really need a car to get here in the first place, then a car into town seems easiest. Modern design, with nice touches. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Nice pool area.
