Hotels on first line in Rovinj

There are two small islands that you can walk between, one with the hotel and pools and the other with an additional restaurant. Not only are there gorgeous sea views and swimming on both but peaceful pine woodland

I believe that TUI had arranged alternative accommodation on the mainland in case we could not travel over. Amenities and entertainment There are a few pools outdoors and an indoor pool and jacuzzi

All were well maintained and there was plenty of space and loungers. There are no lifeguards on duty. You can access the beach/sea at various points around both islands

There are additional water activities you can pay for. There was an animation programme, but I only really noticed aqua aerobics and drone flying lessons. There is a kids club for 4+ yrs where you can leave your kids

There was no TV remote so we had to ask for that too. It was hit and miss with bed making and I actually cleaned the floor twice myself. We usually leave a tip at the end but didn’t this time

It was running 10-3pm during our stay but I think the hours vary depending on the amount of people staying. My daughter stayed at the kids club one morning on her own, she had no complaints

We were very happy at eden, as always with maistra. Very nice touch was a bottle of champagne waiting in our room for my birthday...very nice :) Thanks again and see you soon

The staff at the reception is nice, the staff at the restaurant is ok, the old guy was unpleasant. The indoor pool is small, crowded even tho its covid, unpleasant in general. Wouldn't recommend this hotel

Rooms are great. Lots of space, nicely decorated. I'll give it 3 stars because of restaurant. It's small, crowded, and there are no trays, which is a cruel joke I guess?

First of i want to say that the exterior of the hotel is poor, ragged and old, really ugly. The parking is far away and ugly. The rooms are clean and nice,pretty big

We had a very nice room with a view of the park and the bay. The breakfast had a huge selection, everything you could wish for. However, I find the price of the Aperol Spritz in the bar at €11

Nice hotel, spacious room, has its own beach (which is very rare). It is located near a huge park, so you can still take a walk there. Near the beautiful town of Rovinj, you can walk along the promenade

Good hotel, great location with its own park and beach. Plenty of loungers and umbrellas available. Only the breakfast room gets a bit busy in the morning. Overall, highly recommended!

The room was clean, but a bit worn. The loungers on the beach are old and some of them are worn out. They could be repaired or replaced. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired

Magnificent. They take care of the hotel off the season by repairing, renovating and implementing new stuff which shows me that they take good care of it.

Design hotel in a nice surroundings.. pools spa bar restaurants are available inside the hotel

I consider Grand park home away from home, every one from reception, concierge, all the F&B outlets staff, pool attendants and all the spa staff knows us and constantly treat us with love and professionalism making our stay joyful and memorable

Thank you dear Sandra 🌺♥️ My only discontent is maintenance and menu choices, I would just like to highlight that every room we stayed in needs few maintenance issue also the bathroom lock in the spa that was not repaired for the past 3 years, as of the food menu it would be great to see new choices there

However the highlight of my stay has been always the SPA in particular Sandra who evertime manages to make me feel like a new born baby🫶🌺 she is not only professional and Knowles but also her kindness and beautiful smile even from behind her mask makes my treatment special

Lucija, a waitress at the poolside, deserves special mention as she was always extremely helpful and sunny as the weather! We will definitely be back

The hotel is located opposite the ancient city, and the scenery is definitely unmatched by other hotels. However, the interior decoration is not worthy of the room rate of about 4,500

The hotel is in a good location. You can see the bell tower of the port from the hotel. In short, the scenery is endless. The room facilities are new and complete, the price is more expensive but worth the experience

The pool area is very busy with long waiting lines. A nice ferry from the beach to Rovinj and back

Not a single dull moment for them, playgrounds and pools inside and out, activities all day for every age group from 10 to 21h

The room had a few issues with light switches, the AC has a range no lower than 23°C, which resulted in a bit high temperatures. Our room had a really nice balcony view of the sea, but this doesn't apply for most rooms.

Nice park, a lot of trees which give necessary shade. For disabled people sometimes difficult to get to some parts of the resort. Resort has many activities, pools or rentals. Service is really good and personal

Have in mind that it's quite a walk to the more inner apartments and it's an upward walk, so try to get something closer to the sea if possible. Because on hot summer it is a pain to do those walks all the time

An unforgettable stay that we would like to repeat, as we were only passing through for one night. The location, the service and the opportunity to use the extensive spa facilities of the neighboring hotel were top notch

Luxurious apartments with everything you need - stove, kettle, coffee machine, mini refrigerator, separate minibar, coffee supply for the coffee machine is replenished daily, as well as 2 bottles of still mineral water daily

Beautiful hotel in super location. Room and all public areas perfectly clean at all times and Covid compliant. Pool areas really lovely with perfect sun beds. Staff in all areas friendly and respectful at all times

We spent one great week in the hotel Monte Mulini in Juli with our boy and our baby! The restaurant team was really friendly and made everything to fulfill our wish (a big thank for picking our baby food from the freezer every day) and a big thank also for the 2 ladies Lejla and Vedrena at the spa, which helped me to relax :) we are looking forward to see you again, kind regards, Frederique

The way they play and work with the kids is on another level compare to anywhere else. There is an option of having a nanny service, as well. We are so grateful to Maja who took care of our two sons

Our children have already brought their children here. The nature is very beautiful, the sea is clean, the beaches are varied, excellent food suitable for all ages - everything corresponds to complete rest and relaxation

The island is gorgeous, a place which is close to the nature and isolated to have a wonderful rest. The hotel was also fantastic, I especially liked the local specialities served before dinner

The staff is very polite and unobtrusive, which is nice for me personally. I recommend a holiday here to everyone who loves sports, walking, and also to everyone who has small children

Tucked away on a small street you'll be greeted by really cool staff. They were eager to suggest cool places to visit and there are many here. Breakfast area is so cute but needs a bit of air movement like a fan

Location is perfect. Center of the old town of Rovinj. Staff is super nice. Breakfast has many option. They have nice garden on the back side of the hotel.

When we needed our car it was no problem to walk the several blocks to the parking lot, totally worth it to be in the pedestrian-only part of the city

One of our party is vegan and this dietary requirement was catered for both at breakfast and in the restaurant. On a non-vegan note, the tuna tartar was superb and I had the best Croatian red wine

Restaurant serves great fish. Very friendly stuff and the owner who enjoys his work. When leaving we were given a free dessert and a bottle of local wine :)

Everything is wonderful. From accommodation, food and accompanying content. I give the biggest compliment to the staff. Which surprised us with its professionalism and quality understanding of our needs

Equipped small kitchenette with hood and fridge. Clean and well maintained houses. Towels change and cleaning every two days, bedding change and deeper cleaning every four days

We got one infested with mold bud after dome discussion we were moved to another which was awesome and we enjoyed stay there very much

The rooms are very spacious, the amentities that you have in the room are everything that you need for holidays (so even if you forget some of the amentities at home, there is no problem)

The hotel has two indoor pools and a couplen of outdoor pools. There is also a big playground for children outside. You can rent a bike and go explore the town of Rovinj

We stayed at Family Hotel Amarin in December 2024, and we can truly say it is a dream hotel for children! Everything is thoughtfully designed for the youngest guests – from the rooms, playgrounds, and animation programs to the restaurants and activities

Third time at this hotel and we still LOVE it!!! It's designed for young families, to perfection. It's not cheap, but what you get are gorgeous rooms, top class service, amazing food (not repetitive, even over 2 weeks)

Even on a rainy day, which we had a couple in 2 weeks, there is still plenty to do. Indoor swimming is big enough to accommodate everyone. The staff and can't do enough for you, they really make this place special

It is true that it does look a little frayed around the edges here and there, especially when you wander around the extensive grounds but personally I found this slightly faded look rather charming

It feels a bit like stepping back in time. Other travellers have commented that the hotel bar just feels like an afterthought, tacked onto the main hotel reception and that it closes far too early

The room was pretty basic and old-fashioned. Having said that, it was large and clean with a comfy bed and plenty of storage room. The hotel could also do with a better bar area

The Island Hotel Katarina is situated a short boat ride from the beautiful Croatian coastal town of Rovinj

This was our 4th stay here but this time we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary which I had informed the hotel before arrival

Room was lovely, and the sea view from there and the breakfast terrace was incredible. Perfectly situated for the old town and a great cocktail bar literally round the corner

Whenever we had a question we were helped and we never felt like we were imposing. This level of service is genuine care for the guest and it extends past anything I have experienced traveling all over the world

Other little touches, like complimentary fizz with our cooked-to-order breakfast and coffees in the lounge mid afternoon (where there was also a constant supply of chocolates ;-)) and an emergency packed lunch when we didn't have time to buy anything before our boat trip, were all very welcome and impressive

This lovely little gem of a hotel is a must when visiting Rovinj. The accommodation is super friendly. A superb breakfast. The hosts could not have been more pleasing. I give them my best recommendations.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helping us with our bags up the stairs, and letting us stay at the property after we had checked out to use the wifi/facilities before our bus ride out of Rovinj

Great breakfast. You can choose from a menu. This is a perfect remedy against people who take everything and than leave half of it to throw away. Great eggs, fresh fruit, delicious cheese and meat. Friendly staff.

Best brunch spot in Rovinj. I ordered salad with couscous and tofu. It was filling and full of veggies with green and black olives. Coffee and fresh orange juice were great.

Except of the great view, is the food very, very tasty, the staff is friendly. In all, everything you need and wish!

Given this was our first time in Rovinj, she gave us pointers on how to get to beach and the center and what is near by (the restaurant Maslina and the shop Konzum; however, I do not recommend either of those)

The Villa is ideally located, only a 10 minute walk from beaches (both Punta Corrente and Cuvi Beach) and a 15 minute walk from the Old town center

Great choice if you are coming by a car as they have a big parking area. In front of the villa is a terrace where they serve breakfast that you can have, for a small additional cost (60 kn per person per day)

The Villa itself is decorated in a beautiful vintage style and every room features a nice balcony with a seprate toilet. Our room even had a small fridge which was very helpful at the times

The room service was a bit clumsy: one day they did not even show up, the other day they arrived at 2 pm, just as we were taking a nap, and there was no do not disturb sign

Charming appartements and very warm and welcoming hosts. They are ready to help and solve if there is any issue. We had a tire puncture on the way to Rovinj and they sorted our spare one while we were enjoying the beach

This review is for the restaurant, not the rooms as we stayed elsewhere. We were looking for a good restaurant away from the crowds and bustle along the waterfront. Excellent food prepared with all fresh ingredients

I don't normally rate hotels but I had an amazing stay here. The hosts Alexandria and Andrej were super nice and hospitable. This was my favorite place to stay on my trip so hopefully that should say something
