Where to stay with kids in Rovinj

We are a family of two adults and one child aged 4. We spent 7 nights at Istra Island Hotel this July via TUI. Location Location is absolutely beautiful, scenic wherever you are on the islands

There was a woman working at the pool bar who was unpleasant but otherwise all the staff were incredibly helpful with a high level of service

There are two small islands that you can walk between, one with the hotel and pools and the other with an additional restaurant. Not only are there gorgeous sea views and swimming on both but peaceful pine woodland

There are additional water activities you can pay for. There was an animation programme, but I only really noticed aqua aerobics and drone flying lessons. There is a kids club for 4+ yrs where you can leave your kids

We had such a great time and will definitely be back, loved the surroundings, the little coves you could lie alone at. Clean and fresh everywhere with plenty of sun loungers all over the island that you were free to use

A true haven of peace. I will return there with pleasure! You can stay there for a few days without problem, there are good restaurants, the sea, swimming pools, the food is quite good

Great for a short break by the beach and pool. Older property in villas however value for money was good. Excellent breakfast. Would return

Not a single dull moment for them, playgrounds and pools inside and out, activities all day for every age group from 10 to 21h

The appartment was modern and clean. Rent or bring an e-step to get around. The buffet is not that good, ice cream is warm and good not very tasty. Instead, we went to the restaurant of the family hotel

Nice park, a lot of trees which give necessary shade. For disabled people sometimes difficult to get to some parts of the resort. Resort has many activities, pools or rentals. Service is really good and personal

Staff was very good and helpful. Apartment was good. Pools and beach great. Breakfast was very good. Everything went very well.

The pool area is very busy with long waiting lines. A nice ferry from the beach to Rovinj and back

The staff is friendly and helpful. Poreč and Rovinj are nearby for daily excursions + the dino park in Funtana is surprisingly well done w/ lots of shade. All in all - warm recommendations for families

For reference, we've got 3 small kids and this is THE family place we've found. We've been coming back here for 4 years in a row. It's tough to beat value-wise

Beaches are spacious and comfortable. Additional amenities such as the pool, bicycle rentals, SUP boards, and other activities are easily accessible and fun for guests of all ages

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Ideal for Families, couples, seniors, and children – the resort has something for everyone and is very well-suited for a relaxing vacation

All the amenities are there, it's clean and tidy, the food is great and diverse, and most importantly - it has kids entertainment center with content throughout the day/week, incl. swimming courses for 4+ year olds

The whole resort is very well-maintained and blends into nature, giving it a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The staff were always kind, professional, and helpful, making us feel welcome from the first moment

A beautifully situated hotel with a large swimming pool. However, the rooms and balcony shutters clearly indicate that this chic hotel could use a renovation. The staff is, without exception, very friendly and helpful

We could not recognize the hotel from the pictures, the outdoor pool is not at this hotel, but the neighbor hotel. indoor pool is small & pretty old, also room & bathroom was very old and run down

Nice location, but… Older resort, rooms need updating, in particular the bathrooms. Older bathtub with sliding doors make up the shower space. Indoor pool is heated, but still cool

Exterior pool is a good hike away from the main building and is not heated. We took half board; the food was bland and basic. Dinner is basic cafeteria food

An added bonus is that the heat on the balcony is filtered by the branches. A problem with the malfunctioning air conditioning was resolved early the next morning by a technician after we reported it

A fantastic breakfast buffet, with the option of having breakfast on the terrace. For a small additional fee, you could also enjoy an extensive dinner buffet

The hotel amenities and breakfast dining were great. Bedrooms and housekeeping spot on. Lots of activities if you wanted them but discreetly offered. Location good. Pool and beach areas fabulous with plenty of towels.

This hotel is especially good. It costs more than 3,000 yuan a night in peak season, which is perfect for a vacation. There is a large swimming pool and beach right across the street

The staff at the reception is nice, the staff at the restaurant is ok, the old guy was unpleasant. The indoor pool is small, crowded even tho its covid, unpleasant in general. Wouldn't recommend this hotel

Among this group of hotels, Eden Hotel is a hotel with a more obvious business nature, not a special resort style; but its advantages are also obvious, that is, the cost performance is very high

Beautiful experiencia! Lovely hotel and surroundings. Perfectly located. Just by the beach and a walking distance (by a promenade) to the center of the City.

The breakfast is particularly good, rich and delicious. It only takes a few minutes to drive to the old town. It is suitable to stay for several nights

The hotel is great. Everything is wonderful - from the large rooms overlooking the park to the super breakfast!

This is a wonderful hotel; we've stayed there five times already. The spa has an indoor pool, saunas, steam rooms, and a jacuzzi. Covered parking is available, and the breakfasts are fantastic

The hotel is clean and comfortable, with warm and attentive service. Rooms are well-equipped, with soft bedding and good soundproofing. The location is excellent and convenient for travel

The service was excellent and helpful. The food was excellent, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The downsides include poor lighting in the bathroom (some women complained, but it was fine for me)

However the highlight of my stay has been always the SPA in particular Sandra who evertime manages to make me feel like a new born baby🫶🌺 she is not only professional and Knowles but also her kindness and beautiful smile even from behind her mask makes my treatment special

Thank you dear Sandra 🌺♥️ My only discontent is maintenance and menu choices, I would just like to highlight that every room we stayed in needs few maintenance issue also the bathroom lock in the spa that was not repaired for the past 3 years, as of the food menu it would be great to see new choices there

This was my favorite hotel on the trip. It's expensive for a reason, and I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. The scenery and service were top-notch, and the location was superb.

I consider Grand park home away from home, every one from reception, concierge, all the F&B outlets staff, pool attendants and all the spa staff knows us and constantly treat us with love and professionalism making our stay joyful and memorable

From our room with its own private plunge pool, overlooking the Old Town, the rooftop pools and the the beautiful promenade with the yacht club, to the amazing culinary experiences at the restaurants, this is a place and a stay we won't forget! The hotel even has its own shuttle boats to bring you to their private beach on a nearby island! The staff was wonderful, and we got a personal introduction...

Lucija, a waitress at the poolside, deserves special mention as she was always extremely helpful and sunny as the weather! We will definitely be back

Beautiful hotel on magnificent property with fantastic views. They delivered sparkling wine and a delicious cake for my wife’s birthday without me asking! Very nice touch. I thought it was a great value!

Excellent location, excellent conditions, excellent beach, level of cleanliness, impeccable service, prices are much higher for the average citizen, because for 6 days only for sun loungers on your beach you need to set between 450-900e, but all this justifies the quality service and excellent nature, the water is warm even now in June

An unforgettable stay that we would like to repeat, as we were only passing through for one night. The location, the service and the opportunity to use the extensive spa facilities of the neighboring hotel were top notch

On the positive side, if you have the time and inclination, free bikes are available for riding around town, and the sister properties amenities (pool, gym, spa, beach area) are free for use - and they are very nice

Great breakfast. You can choose from a menu. This is a perfect remedy against people who take everything and than leave half of it to throw away. Great eggs, fresh fruit, delicious cheese and meat. Friendly staff.

The bathroom with walk in shower were good size too - the provided soap, The shampoo and conditioner were adequate, although two of the pump bottles did not function correctly

Rooms and cleaniness is ok, but the location is unique. Fantastic staff, special thanks to maitre Mr. Rado, chef Mr. Sasha and sous chef that I don't recall the name. they made the experience really unique.

The island itself is a dream: peaceful and car-free, perfect for relaxing walks and quiet evenings. The short boat ride to the city makes it easy to explore when you want more activity

Hotel's location is Rovinj's best if you like nature, but also the access to the city is quick ‐ 15 min by boat directly to the centre. Also, availability of sun loungers all around the islands surprised us pleasantly

And kids are not forgotten: they get a special food counter (in addition to having access to the other ones, of course), nice indoor and outdoor playgrounds and enjoyable after-dinner activities (dancing, cartoons, etc

Every member of the staff we talked to, including the front-desk, the cleaners, and the dining room attendants were very helpful, polite and friendly. The rooms had all we needed, were clean and in good working condition

Luka from reception was extremely helpful throughout our stay, he also allowed us late checkout so our little boy could enjoy the Splash park in the sea once more before leaving which made his holiday

The staff were welcoming and helpful, waiter staff cleared plates quickly and kept this tidy and restocked. The children’s entertainment team were great, our 6yo boy really enjoyed the mini disco and games

The staff in the beach bar in particular at lunch time were amazing, my favourite phrase ‘just enjoy’ and we did! Loads to entertain in the day time, spent our time between the beach and the pool

This is well equipped as a children's play hotel, ideal for young children and parents. However there are no real facilities or comfortable areas for adults, especially at this time of year

They are always in the background, cleaning, cooking, clearing so you can enjoy quality time with your family

The hotel has different playrooms for different children ages, there is an adukt gym, as well as children's gym. Also they have adults spa anf children spa, for a quality time between mum or dad and the child

Neither are there many comfortable areas for families of differing ages to relax together and chat. The feel of the hotel is similar to living within a children's nursery facility

We only missed Marin during the meals and the green Marin “statute” at the lobby. We were told they are both at maintenance and cleaning. Hope to see them next time, kids love them! We will definitely come again

Nice swimming pool with water slides (free for guests). Lot of parking on site, in close proximity of bungalows (entry secured by access card for guests). Most of staff speak English and/or German

I found your resort beautifully set amidst a wonderful pine forest, with the sea in front and the swimming pools nearby. This setting makes it truly charming and offers the relaxation one is looking for

While many guests will certainly order additional beverages, charging for water—especially for families with children, and considering that it is already available at breakfast—does not leave a good impression

The resort area is very nice, with plenty of shade from the coniferous trees, so we could spend the whole day outside on the beach even on the hottest days. The swimming pool area is excellent, with plenty of deck chairs

The park itself is well-maintained, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. On our first evening, we encountered a minor issue, but after calling reception, it was resolved quickly and professionally

Our room was immaculate with a lovely shower room, fluffy towels and dressing gowns. We had a lovely little balcony too with a table and chairs. The pool area is immaculate and the heated pool inviting
