Hotel Arupinum in Rovinj

My husband and I recently stayed here for four nights/five days and had a wonderful time. The hotel location is great, a short walk to town and beaches. The hotel is very clean and the pool is great (it’s the reason we stayed here as we found not many hotels had pools). The staff is the stand out piece of the hotel. They are so kind and thoughtful. I’ve travelled the world and can’t say I’ve ever encountered such lovely staff. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast buffet is great, although they could benefit from having a self-serve espresso/cappuccino machine as it's always a bit cumbersome to ask for coffee refills. The location is OK, although a tad long for a walk to the old town... Apart from this, we highly recommend.

Modern rooms, very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, great pool! Overall loved our stay. Well located as you can walk either to the old town or to the coast, and although about 15 mins walk either way it's well worth it for the excellent friendly service.

From the moment we arrived, we were truly impressed by the warmth and professionalism of the entire in-house team. The front desk staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. They were incredibly helpful, answering every question with patience and offering great local tips.

The service throughout our stay was top-notch. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Whether it was a special request or just a friendly interaction in the hallway, we felt genuinely cared for.

Housekeeping deserves a special shoutout – our room was spotless every day, and the attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Fresh linens, neatly arranged amenities, and the thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home.

The kitchen team also delivered an amazing experience. The food was consistently delicious, well-prepared, and served with care. Breakfast was a highlight – fresh, varied, and beautifully presented.

Just a quick thought—it’d be awesome to see in future a few vegan options on the menu.

Overall, it’s clear that the staff at this hotel take great pride in their work. Thank you all for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to friends and family!

Nice, small hotel away from the action. About 15 minute walk to heart of the old city (which we did many times), and 5 min to many really good restaurants; close to park and beaches. Really comfortable, great breakfast and nice helpful staff. Rick Steves recommends!

We stayed here 3 nights and it was all that we needed for our last 3 days in Rovinj ending our 3 weeks holiday in Croatia!

Room is super comfortable (I love the window from the bathroom to the room 😬). The swimming pool is super clean and nice to 🏊‍♀️ everyday and they have comfortable chairs around it. And the music is perfect and super chill. Also not too many guests in the hotel so it feels very private. Staff is super friendly and of great service if you need something.

Breakfast with the list is fine as well, good selection to chose from. I especially like the water with lemon and orange for the morning very refreshing. And they make good coffees as well!

I love the location it is super close to a nice beach with beds and the walking route to the town is very nice to walk through. It is secluded away from the busy tourist area. 👍

Only tip for the bread basked in the morning: don’t cut it in advance but wait until the guests are at the table so it doesn’t dry out in the mean time at one side. 😊

My husband and I had a very enjoyable four-night stay at Arupinum. The hotel is situated in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Parking is right on site. Our room was modern and quite comfortable. There's a pretty swimming pool next to the lobby and the breakfast/dinner area. The service was excellent. The ladies at breakfast and dinner were particularly warm and obliging. Breakfast was delicious, with many tasty items to choose from.
It takes 12, 15 minutes to walk to the old town. There is a Konzum store nearby.
The only hiccup came when we found out that a slew of the restaurants outside of the old town close for the season starting on Oct 1. That threw a money wrench into our dining plans. The flip side was that, as a result of the unexpected closures of those restaurants, we ended up eating at the hotel, and very much enjoyed the sophisticated, high quality dishes.

Super polite and friendly staff. Spacious, clean modern rooms. Delicious breakfast with variety of choices, with an option to enjoy it outside by the pool. Free parking is very convenient. Only 8-10 minute walk to Old Town.
