5 star hotels in Podstrana

Sadly you can only do the buffet and not open to have just yogurt and a coffee or something smaller. Beach side the staff can only deliver food/drinks -no interaction. Not personal we had to use an app that only worked 1/2 time. Drinks and food at the beach were too expensive and no happy hour. I stay in 5 star hotels all over the world.

The pool view is amazing. Friendly staff and nice interior! I definitely want to visit again.

Very infection, albeit the halls and common areas were dark - painted black with gold highlights and low mood-type lighting. “Nelly” was a great hostess and very accommodating. Breakfast was a la carte and very good. Location was great for a summer stay, but a bit out of the way if you were wanting to visit Split and Trogir.

Upgraded to a lovely room staff all brilliant especially Nelly so helpful knowledgable and Vulcashin who served us breakfast every morning so polite and nothing too much trouble. Enjoyed the beach pool and all facilities - would definitely recommend also a lovely walk to Omiš for food and drinks which we enjoyed - thank you all we will be returning.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in every way. Great location, rooms, staff. Special mention to Nikola and Tommy who made our stay very special. Pool area lovely and accessible to the beach was great as well. Can't wait to return to stay again and will do very soon. Highly recommend.

Staff needs to be trained up a bit more, and breakfast buffet has limited choices. Some hot food was not kept in warm plate.

Great hotel in a great location. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant with the exception of the pool attendant on the top floor who was quite rude.

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around.

Free upgrade !! Apartment was clean and we received a free upgrade on arrival from a studio to a 1 bedroom apartment. Internet was good but didn’t work at the pool. Breakfast included was amazing. Our only negative would be the rooftop pool staff who rolled their eyes and sighed when we politely asked to have an umbrella put up. Other than that all other hotel staff were approachable and kind!

Excellent hotel. Very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is amazing. Best breakfast I’ve had. It’s just outside Split centre and costs around €7 in an uber to go to Split Old Town. Perfect if you are looking for a quieter hotel.

What a beautiful hotel, the room was extremely comfortable, the pools were amazing, spotlessly clean and really comfortable loungers. The staff works very hard to keep every guest happy, and the reception staff could not be more helpful. The menu choices of evening meal was excellent and our selection was delicious! The only criticism I have is that I think the air conditioning perhaps needs servicing...

Very well kept hotel with spacious rooms and a very comfortable bed. It has a unique charm about it and reminds of what a hotel should be, not full of bling but nice. When you first arrive you get a feeling of relaxation right from the moment you walk through the door.

The city view room also had a partial ocean view. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. The breakfast room was large, with a wide variety of options and a pleasant atmosphere. The beach club seemed to be public, with some lounge chairs, but it required walking up a few steps to reach them. The outdoor pool was pleasant and perfect for a drink. The service attitude at the reception was poor. We booked a room clearly stating that we would have children, but there were only two sets of bathrobes and towels. We called to request that they be delivered to the room, but they were not delivered until the evening. Moreover, because the bathrobes and towels were delivered in two batches, the waiter was very impatient and threw the towels at us.

I had originally booked at Hotel Ambassador, but was informed just before my trip that it would not be open on the day. With the support of the Trip.com staff, I ended up staying at this hotel. We stayed at the hotel for the New Year holidays. From December 30 to January 02, 2025. Apparently because of this the room was really poorly cleaned, the photo shows stains on the floor, on the table from coffee, garbage in the drawers. In general, the hotel is very "tired", something was obviously broken, barely alive faucets. In general, it does not pull on 5 stars. But! Breakfast on January 01...

Not bad. We stayed in the Select Sea View room. It should be a new room type. It's quite cozy. But the smell of new decoration is a bit strong.

They gave us a great big room with a real sea view and a jacuzzi tub.

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very good overall for the price. Bus stop just outside the hotel, taking roughly 30 mins to Split Old Town

Hotel San Antonio is the main hotel in this group and facilities are in this hotel but a short walk away and right next to beach and bars/restaurants. Staff ok and knowledgeable, helpful when asked. Not many shops close by and centre of split is a good 20 mins taxi ride, busses are available but not used by us.

The room we got was pretty amazing. We got a huge balcony and even a second small one. Our room got cleaned everyday and the hotel and restaurant service was super funny and accommodating. You got two small shops near the hotel, a bakery and you are located right next to the ocean. Sunbeds are included in the price, if you want an umbrella you have to pay extra but there are some places in the shadow...

Great place to stay on the Adriatic Coast. Hotel is right on the beach, free parking. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent restaurant. Buffet breakfast is amazing. Loved it, highly recommend. Hoping to be back again.

Really not sure about this place...the food is ok, the service is ok and beautiful location but just doesn't tick all boxes. We really fancied a dessert/liquor...the staff obviously didn't want us to have one!

The Restaurant of the Pansion was incredibly delicious and the distance to the beach was practical (5meters).

reviewing as restaurant, not a hotel, prices are ok for hotel nearby the beach but the overall food quality and tate was underwhelming. Portions were in decent size but again not as tasty. Also i got a hair in my soup :) Coffe with whipped cream was really good. Wouldpass otherwise

The Residence Hotel is a true gem! The staff were really hospitable: they found a perfect apartment for our family and once we arrived helped us out with everything. An apartment was nice and modern. From our vast terrace we could see the island of Brač across the sea. The beach, just a few minutes away, was lovely at all times of day. Many chic beach bars and restaurants were in the vicinity...

We had a pleasant stay at The Residence apartment hotel. Free parking was a great bonus, and check-in was quick and efficient. The décor is a bit dated, but the apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped. The kitchenette had everything we needed, and having a washer was very convenient. What an amazing property! It’s located directly on a private stretch of beach with beach chairs and umbrellas supplied by the owner. The water is amazing, lots of restaurants and several grocery stores nearby. I will most definitely have to come back for another visit and stay at this location!

We had an incredible stay in Podstrana, the apartment was in an amazing location, right on the beach. Very quiet, walkable to lovely restaurants. A quick uber or bus ride into Split but it was nice to be in a quieter, peaceful area. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and the view was phenomenal. We had the top floor, deluxe suite. Restaurants and bakery all walking distance. The AC worked very well. The only thing to note is kitchen could have been equipped a little better and there were no toiletries, so make sure you bring your own. We appreciated the washer and had our own detergent. Loved our stay, thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lea's in the Deluxe Apartment. The inside felt smaller than the pictures, but the outdoor terrace was the show stopper. I wish that there were sun loungers on it however, as there was a lot of free space not being used. At the beach, we could use some chairs and parasols, which was great. Water shoes were a benefit for swimming as it was very rocky. The beds were comfortable...

Lovely location with a great view of the sea. The lady who showed us to our room was fantastic and very helpfull. Bus stop right outside the property for split or in the other direction Omis. Far better than staying at a hotel in the area, restaurants shops and bars all within a few minutes walk. I highly recommend this property for your stay. Stayed for 3 nights and can not fault the place at all
