Le Mat Hostel in Larnaka

I had a wonderful time staying here. The dorm.rooms are comfortable, the staff are helpful, and the decor fits the old style of the building, beautifully renovated. The only drawback perhaps is not having an elevator, but I got help carrying the suitcase up and down the stairs. Clean and quiet.
Great place to work, plenty of sockets to charge your devices. Will happily come back again.

Fantastic hostel. Great location, easy self check-in, and super clean. Bathrooms are basically spotless and plenty of hot water for the shower. Nice kitchen and lounge area.

One of the best hostels I have ever stay, Clean rooms and bathrooms, common area comfy and you can meet new people there or just have your lunch, in kitchen you have everything you need. Love it and will stay here again and again!

2 minute walk from the beach. clean, spacious rooms. greatly decorated, immaculate vibes. kind staff, they let you store your luggage after check out. amazing kitchen, with cold drinking water. i wanna come here next year for like a month and work remotely. i loved it.

Lovely environment, amazing place, less than 2 minutes walk to the beach, the owner and staff are really lovely and considerate, I stayed 2 nights there and enjoyed every second, highly recommend. if you are not very good with hight, ask for the lower bed on the reservation. I will definitely go back 👌🏻

Very good hostel location, 2 min from the beach. Beds are shared, and there’s one locker per person. It’s cleaned everyday. The toilets and showers are quite small but enough for a hostel. The sharing space is nice to meet new people. This place has been a great step in my trip to Larnaca, I highly recommend giving it a try!

Le Mot Hostel has a great location, close to everything from the beach, to the ancient buildings and a lot of restaurants and bars. Even with a car I was able to find a free parking space. The hostel itself was very cozy, organized and calm. The community room is great for work, talking with others or just relaxing after a tour through the city. Fully recommended!

Comfortable, affordable stay in an old stone mansion, located right next to the seaside, the medieval fort, and the old church. 10 mins walk from the bus ‘station’ (which is more of a pickup point).

Each bed has a curtain, a lamp, and a *universal* adaptor, which is a stroke of genius. The kitchen is quite well-equipped, and has a water filter. Bathrooms are much better than average. Staff are great. My favourite for a chat is the Filipino lady.

It’s a little bit social, I certainly met several nice travellers. The common area and kitchen are quite open and concreted, so not homely but perfectly functional. Power points are only in one spot in the common area and outside too. That should be improved.

Totally stable wifi, and you can fairly comfortably work there - as long as you get a power socket.
This is my number one choice of hostel in Larnaca.

I had a great time at Le Mat hostel! The hostel was clean, the bed was comfortable and all the facilities were more than adequate. It's in a super convenient location with awesome staff, along with a big common area + decent kitchen. They even provide a free towel! What's not to like?

The only thing is that the shower stall may be a bit small for some, but it was fine for me!
