Hotels in Kakopetria

Its very clean and for the price is very good, really. The lady from the reception is really helpful and caring trying to do the best for us like clients! Thank you Mrs Maria ❤️

Lovely stay in the centre of Kakopetria. You can walk to the nearby village Galata without even knowing it since the two villages have reached both their borders. It is a lovely and cozy 2.5km walk from this hotel. Mrs Maria who is the owner is very polite and supportive

Lovely calm place to stay. Comfortable beds and room with nice cosy teras. Family atmosphere and very friendly hosts. Perfect place to stay and to rest in cypriot countryside. I highly recommend.

I had the best morning coffees and the best night cocktails ever! I highly recommend it to everyone!

The most friendly and helpful staff.

Spend good time there....food was good as well n customer service was excellent .over all a gud place to spend some "no worries" time.

Visited the Mylos Restaurant. Their smoked trout was exceptional. Aris and his staff made it a great experience. Along with ice cold beer we had a great lunch. The view from the balcony of the village and the surrounding hills was breathtaking. Cost of approximately €30-35 per person was very logical for what we enjoyed. Definitely worth the trip.

We didn't stay at the hotel but we have visited the place for drinks, which we asked at the reception before we headed to the restaurant. Once we got the ok we have gone to the next floor where the restaurant was located. Once we arrived there we had to speak to three different people behind the bar to give us a table, even when the receptionist called to confirm it. We have found the whole experience...

This is a hard place to review as it has its charm but at the same time it feels a little like you are an inconvenience. The restaurant is expensive for what it is and the food is hit or miss. On our first night there, there was no music at all in the restaurant so there was no atmosphere, you could hear crickets. We asked if they could put some music on..."No" was the answer 🙈 "music is only on Saturdays...

Great experience and atmosphere. Amazing food, their speciality is the grilled trout, with options to be served with or without bones. The surrounding area is beautiful with greenery and River flowing near by that can be seen and heard from the parking space and the terrace. There's a green area surrounding the restaurant and hotel to enjoy a nice stroll in Nature. Be mindful of parking as there are...

Great room, amazing breakfast and the village is beautiful but the path in the river next to the hotel had rubbish all over(so sad).

Everything here is magical and outstanding. Perfectly appointed and maintained hotel, spotlessly clean, ample breakfast, spacious rooms and bathrooms and the most idyllic location imaginable. A glorious balcony to dine on, day and night. One cannot recommend The Mill enough.

Beautiful hotel in the mountains! Stayed for three nights as a change to a coastal holiday to explore and hike in the Troodos mountains. Lovely furnishings and finishes in the rooms. Good quality beds and bedding and a perfect meal. Comfort and luxury and stunning views from the balcony. Could not have asked for anything better.

We are a family of 3 of us who had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. Very beautiful place with very tasty food and nice wine. Life music was a lively background)) We are locals . .. special trout was yamy with special lemon butter souse. We have enjoyed )))

Lovely rooms, fantastic location but they advertise a bar, sorry but you cannot use it unless you book in advance. We stayed for 2 nights and were not allowed a drink either night due to not booking, there was no requirement when we booked to do this. When I complained the man behind the bar was rude and very dismissive, oh and the bar was totally empty. It has spoiled my birthday weekend but Kakopatria...

An atmospheric hotel set in a beautiful location and filled with history. Our room was wonderfully spacious, private & comfortable with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was also excellent.

The Mill Hotel & restaurant is situated in the heart of Kakopetria. We were greeted by a charming man called Aris who showed us to our table where we had a panoramic view of the whole village. He recommended various Cypriot dishes which were absolutely sensational. Cypriot salad with Halloumi and home made marmalade. Filleted trout is their specialty and it was cooked to perfection. The...

We had a lovely suite on the third floor. However what is not written anywhere is that to get to these rooms you have to walk up a steep, open stepped staircase, there must be people who have booked these rooms who could not walk up these stairs. We asked for assistance with our case which we readily got. The suite was very spacious with fantastic views. The choice at breakfast could have been better...

Ok, this may not be your dream hotel or the most posh one you've ever visited. The rooms are small, the breakfast very basic and the views not the best. Overall though, this is an amazing opportunity to enjoy Kakopetria, right in its center, without going bankrupt. The prices are very affordable and the service polite and genuinely friendly. Just imagine that you can enjoy a Greek coffee on the porch...

Excellent Stay! Highly Recommend! We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The price was very affordable, and despite that, the owner was extremely hospitable and kind. He helped us with all our questions and even recommended a great restaurant for dinner. Our room was very clean and freshly renovated, which made our stay even more comfortable. We stayed on the fourth floor, and the view from our balcony...

Nice hotel, perfect location. Relaxed atmosphere - Mr Andreas, his uncle and Staff, (Chambermaid - Waiters and barman friendly, helpful. Overall Exceptional Service. Food very good, home taste, (breakfast, lunch and dinner). For sure we will see you again !!! Thank you.

an old-fashioned hotel, in the good sense of the word, for a large number of people. We are in the off-season, almost no one is there. Dear owner, delicious breakfast, very clean.

To say we got a room at all on christmas day is almost beyond belief. The hotel was fully booked and busy with guests, the owner gave us a friendly welcome and couldn't believe we had walked 30km to Kakopetria that day in cold winter weather. We were very glad for a warm room with a good hot shower. Yes the hotel is basic and the furniture is dated, but if the service is this good even on the busiest...

The location was good and there was free wifi, hot water and heating all the time. The rooms were as clean as possible ( didn't really had high expectations ) and the breakfast was okay as well. The thing that really pissed me off though was the manager's' attitude towards some of my classmates... He was really rude sometimes and had a strange "humour". In contrast, the cleaners were really friendly...

We spent 3 glorious days here. It's a friendly old village. Full of character and charm. The food here was amazing. We were taken care of, by a lovely Nepalese family.

Great location in the old part of Kakopetria. Had a lovely meal with excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Friday, October 24th, 2025. We were at the restaurant for dinner and had very good food and good service. Had a wonderful conversation in English with the owner and his young son. We are from Sweden and are travelling around Cyprus, Julia and Eskil Pihl

Good food, good location. Would prefer if the all the staff spoke greek.

What a special venue! It is located in the middle of the Old Kakopetria. It is a old building complex that has been restored and has so much character. The breakfast was rich and good. Value/Price rate is sooooo high!

Cute and cozy with everything you need 🙂

Lovely place in the center of the village, spotlessly clean. The food is very well cooked and the owners are so polite and friendly! Loved it! ❤️❤️❤️

Very old hotel very poor renovation we should pay half the price. The breakfast few things no fruits just the picture below. Full of school pupils noisy. The only thing i liked was the waterfall sound of the river below and the great view of it in the morning.

rooms for clean but no windows and the food nice and the air condition was not working it was cold so if you can fix it put a window please and not a window that look in the basement and 2 plastic things on the top

Basic old hotel, generally clean all over bedrooms, reception, seating area and restaurant. friendly staff Excellent service, had breakfast which was basic but very nice. Had a small play area for the kids. Overall value for money.

This is a lovely clean hotel. Very peacefull atmosphere. Rooms are big, clean and in very good condition. Breakfast is a traditional CY one. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Really really a lovely hotel to be.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Troodos mountain

Very nice centrally located hotel. Host was very helpful and friendly. Room was large and well equipped. Good A/C,hot water. Nice balcony. We enjoyed breakfast of eggs ham , vegetables, toast, and OJ. Good coffee.

The hotel it was amazing! Everything it was clear and the the room was really comfortable. Also the view it was incredibly beautiful. Before i forgot the breakfast has lots of choices and it was delicious. The owner it was extremely kind and helpful.

The hotel is basic. The rockstar suite was nice and spacious. Bed was confortable. It could have been cleaner but was overall ok. Would recommend for a short stay. Breakfast was basic (eggs, cold cuts and some cheese with toast)- the coffee was not good but this is a personal opinion. The staff was nevertheless very kind and helpful (the man at the reception) and explained everything very well. A good...

A great hotel with a convenient location, beautiful views and very friendly staff

My first time was when it was renovated back in 2013 and overall it was very good! I went back for a second visit in August 2020 and luckily we were given the same room as in 2013 (The MG suite). It seems like they don't look after the rooms a lot. 2 of the 4 bulbs of the light feature where blown out. The wallpaper behind the bed was hanging off the wall and part of the ceiling was stained due to...

Very nice and very clean. Especially the bathroom was modern, clean and more than l expected. Generally the room was worth of money, warm and efficient. I would recomment it and l would stay there when l visit again the area...

A wonderful place!! with impeccable customer service and most importantly amazing people very hospitable!! thank you very much

Very nice atmosphere and nice location

Very nice room, spacious and quite modern with a great bathroom. The breakfast, although not a buffet it was simple but very good. You get a drink of your choice, toasted bread, ham cheese cucumber tomato, jam and butter, fried hallumi fried egg and fried traditional sausage. It was delicious.

Pretty good location 2 minutes away from Kakopetria. Clean and tidy rooms with a decent breakfast. Would definitely visit again

Excellent view of the village of Kakopetria and the mountains. Breakfasts are a solid five: sliced ham, cheese, butter, bread, vegetables, scrambled eggs, sausages, fried fetta cheese. There is a restaurant at the hotel, where they also cook very tasty. The village of Kakopetria can be reached on foot along the road for about 5-10 minutes. Very welcoming staff. Thank you very much!!!
