Located within the centre of the village with accommodation spread out across the village. The first issue you face is parking...you basically have to find parking somewhere in the village as there is no dedicated parking lot (some people park just outside the village centre on the other side of the bridge). Our check-in experience was a bit long-winded and there was no welcome drink or similar...

Love this hotel. It just keeps getting better. Theres a super homely feel to everything, the staff are amazing and food is soooooo good. If you are vegan I’d recommend emailing them before you go as while there are vegan options on the menu, they are limited and they can get more ready for you. We love having a fireplace in all the rooms and the nature trails around the village are spectacular.

An amazing luxury boutique and spa hotel located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Cyprus! The rooms are rustic style harmonized with the rest of the environment! The accommodation has great views of the neighbor village Kalopanayotis. The apartment is big but it could have been cleaner. Unless you go back to Kalopanayotis, you won't find any store or restaurant nearby, make sure you have everything you need before arriving.

What a special venue! It is located in the middle of the Old Kakopetria. It is a old building complex that has been restored and has so much character. The breakfast was rich and good. Value/Price rate is sooooo high!

Beautiful hotel in the mountains! Stayed for three nights as a change to a coastal holiday to explore and hike in the Troodos mountains. Lovely furnishings and finishes in the rooms. Good quality beds and bedding and a perfect meal. Comfort and luxury and stunning views from the balcony. Could not have asked for anything better.

Lovely rooms, fantastic location but they advertise a bar, sorry but you cannot use it unless you book in advance. We stayed for 2 nights and were not allowed a drink either night due to not booking, there was no requirement when we booked to do this. When I complained the man behind the bar was rude and very dismissive, oh and the bar was totally empty. It has spoiled my birthday weekend but Kakopatria...

Great room, amazing breakfast and the village is beautiful but the path in the river next to the hotel had rubbish all over(so sad).

Everything here is magical and outstanding. Perfectly appointed and maintained hotel, spotlessly clean, ample breakfast, spacious rooms and bathrooms and the most idyllic location imaginable. A glorious balcony to dine on, day and night. One cannot recommend The Mill enough.

Very old hotel very poor renovation we should pay half the price. The breakfast few things no fruits just the picture below. Full of school pupils noisy. The only thing i liked was the waterfall sound of the river below and the great view of it in the morning.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Troodos mountain

Ok, this may not be your dream hotel or the most posh one you've ever visited. The rooms are small, the breakfast very basic and the views not the best. Overall though, this is an amazing opportunity to enjoy Kakopetria, right in its center, without going bankrupt. The prices are very affordable and the service polite and genuinely friendly. To say we got a room at all on christmas day is almost beyond belief. My first time was when it was renovated back in 2013 and overall it was very good! I went back for a second visit in August 2020 and luckily we were given the same room as in 2013 (The MG suite). Very nice atmosphere and nice location

Very nice room, spacious and quite modern with a great bathroom. The breakfast, although not a buffet it was simple but very good. You get a drink of your choice, toasted bread, ham cheese cucumber tomato, jam and butter, fried hallumi fried egg and fried traditional sausage. It was delicious.

Lovely stay in the centre of Kakopetria. You can walk to the nearby village Galata without even knowing it since the two villages have reached both their borders. It is a lovely and cozy 2.5km walk from this hotel. Mrs Maria who is the owner is very polite and supportive

Great view from the room, easy access to hikes. The restaurant is fine (though a touch expensive, but you don't have many options around). Unfortunately, couldn't try the breakfast, as I came there to paritcipate in Troodos Terra and finished the race at around 10:00, when the breakfast was already finished.

The hotel is well situated for the Troodos area. It provides good accommodation at a reasonable price. It makes no pretence at being a five star establishment, but it does the biz. It is clean, the room is not cramped, the beds are ok, the furniture is not fussy but functional. Dinner in the restaurant was well prepared, tasty and definitely a good serving size. I have paid more and enjoyed it less...

I'll start with the positive and move to the less positive First the hotel staff is very good and courteous. The service was good I asked to change a room and they made an effort to change our room. The food is also good. Now to the not so positive the rooms are dated and with old carpeting. There is a smell of mold in the corridors of the hotel. The hotel needs redoing and refurbishing.

The room was fine, very basic. We stayed for one night so it was OK. The staff was pleasant and helpful. There was a very noisy party in the evening that ended after midnight, it was very annoying. Breakfast was nice and diverse

Rooms basic but comfortable and clean .location was brilliant we went in late October take a jumper cardigan for night time as it does get cold but they do put on a log fire and makes it really cosy they even supplies us with blankets loved it Food is really tasty we booked a massage and Jacuzzi and it was 10 out of 10. We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped by for refreshing smoothies. The smoothie was made from local fruits and was absolutely delicious with beautiful presentation. Really a big dissapointment. We had to order the set menu (meze) as there was no a la carte options. With the exception of the roasted pig knuckle the rest of the dishes were below average. This restaurant is a must if you are in Omodos. Food is absolutely fresh and delicious, traditional but with modern twist. This place was absolutely gorgeous. Charming village vibes, the staff were amazing. The local breakfast foods were delicious. Both of us really loved our stay here and hope to return. They really put in a huge effort to make this place and your stay magical. The local tavern had great food, and the local bakery had a nice halloumi pie.

We spent the evening here with family and loved the whole experience, especially the food (the kleftiko and beef stifado were amazing). Reading the comments here, some complain about the portion size, and while they are not large, they are definitely of a higher quality and cooked on an open grill for everyone to see!

We enjoyed spending a night in the mountain side of Cyprus, it was quiet and relaxing. We had an amazing diner and breakfast at Agrovino with delicious local products. Our room was very outdated, the bare minimum for comfort. It definitely needs a refurbishing and compared to the accommodation offers in Cyprus, the hotel was overpriced…

Well Lofou a village almost deserted 50years ago now on the way to being rebuilt etc we had a great stay here great food and local produce outstanding, we stayed under the name of Adams, thank you for our short stay with you and hope you and the village has prosperity.

The restaurant was empty when we arrived around 6.30pm. We were the only customers for the rest of our meal. We don’t understand why because the restaurant was cozy and the staff was great. The food portions were good. The taste was delicious. As usual in Cyprus, the meat was over cooked but still has flavour and good.

We found this lovely little spot whilst looking for a cafe. The food looked and smelt too good not to try. Had the chicken souvlaki and it does not disappoint. Defiantly worth a visit if your in the area or worth making a trip If not. The venue has Accomodation if your wanting to make more of a trip Out of it and it looked great quality. The home made wine is worth a try too !!

We stayed here for two nights. The room had a pleasant view from the balcony. Their double rooms are incredibly spacious and airy. Just a few things were missing like light bulbs and the shower tray leaked all over the bathroom. We also had a problem with our front door, it wouldn't open properly. We spent 5 days in the hotel as a base for Kato Pyrgos surrounding area. The hotel is a traditional management with local cousin. Three star level with very hospitable service. The beach in front of the hotel is of the most beautiful and protected from waves. The town is a traditional Cypriot environment with number of old and new churches to visit. average room but clean, weak breakfast. food average and expensive. however, perfect location, the beach just below the hotel, you only need to walk 20 meters. bad smells in and out of the hotel. the behaviour of the management to customers could have been better. very noisy. some rooms only have been renovated. facilities weak.

Great place to stay to experience Kato Pygros. The rooms were comfortable the views were amazing. The beach was brilliant and you’re very close to the local harbour with an amphitheatre and a little cocktail bar. What more can you ask for?

Family run hotel, nothing too much trouble, wonderful local cuisine and great value for money. A perfect spot to relax, walk and enjoy the views over Cyprus' western hills. The sea is only a 20 minute drive away and the local woods and hills are full of interest for birdwatchers, naturalists and ramblers. Beautiful.
