We come every year and we get the same food this time around we ordered the beef picata which is our favorite dish and it was more that terrible. The only thing you could taste was lemon. We returned our dishes and they blamed it on our sour preferences altho the food was supposed to be with olny cream and mushroom. Anyway they changed it and brought us again the dish with no lemon but again it was not eatable u could only taste the flour. Just awful. The fish was amazing tho. Horrible experience

Beautiful hotel in the mountains! Stayed for three nights as a change to a coastal holiday to explore and hike in the Troodos mountains. Lovely furnishings and finishes in the rooms. Good quality beds and bedding and a perfect meal. Comfort and luxury and stunning views from the balcony. Could not have asked for anything better.

Everything here is magical and outstanding. Perfectly appointed and maintained hotel, spotlessly clean, ample breakfast, spacious rooms and bathrooms and the most idyllic location imaginable. A glorious balcony to dine on, day and night. One cannot recommend The Mill enough.

We are a family of 3 of us who had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. Very beautiful place with very tasty food and nice wine. Life music was a lively background)) We are locals . .. special trout was yamy with special lemon butter souse. We have enjoyed )))

Lovely rooms, fantastic location but they advertise a bar, sorry but you cannot use it unless you book in advance. We stayed for 2 nights and were not allowed a drink either night due to not booking, there was no requirement when we booked to do this. When I complained the man behind the bar was rude and very dismissive, oh and the bar was totally empty. It has spoiled my birthday weekend but Kakopatria is a lovely town

Great room, amazing breakfast and the village is beautiful but the path in the river next to the hotel had rubbish all over(so sad).

Dont know about the hotel but we came for the food. Staff is amazing, food is terrible. 16€ for bread salat with few tomatoes and feta and 19€ for dry chicken and fries is way too overpriced for Cyprus. What is described in the menu doesn't fit what you get on the plate. Don't drink wine here. I live here and 8.5€ for glass of red or white wine which is worse then ordinary house wine in taverns is just outrageous. The only tasty thing is trout. Nothing else. Pricy as hell for fast food quality.

An atmospheric hotel set in a beautiful location and filled with history. Our room was wonderfully spacious, private & comfortable with a lovely balcony. The restaurant was also excellent.

The hotel for its prices, I was expecting more “luxury” in the rooms and at the welcome. The rooms have a lot of character and tradition but bathroom could have been renovated to support the prices. (€170 for one night and the jacuzzi bath tab has extreme damage). The room overall was clean and tidy.
Staff has trapped us to trying the hotels restaurant by asking us to reserve our spot as the restaurant is fully booked. Again, felt very awkward when walking in the restaurant. We got the menu aaannnddd €16.50 for a SALAD. Just a salad!!!! Overpriced restaurant for only OK food.
Breakfast was very minimal without many options.

The Mill Hotel & restaurant is situated in the heart of Kakopetria. We were greeted by a charming man called Aris who showed us to our table where we had a panoramic view of the whole village. He recommended various Cypriot dishes which were absolutely sensational. Cypriot salad with Halloumi and home made marmalade. Filleted trout is their specialty and it was cooked to perfection. The Pork chop and chicken were lovely. The hand cut cyprus potato chips were the best I have had in cyprus. We finished our meal with cyprus coffee and the amazing walnut preserved in syrup, once again home made. An excellent lunch with great service. This is well worth the visit.
