Crystal Hotel in Kakopetria

The location and view were lovely, and the staff was polite. The room was large, and the warm air conditioning was a definite plus. These were the only positive aspects of our stay in the Crystal Suite.
The breakfast was basic, with limited options to choose from. The room had mould around a large window where our child was supposed to sleep for two nights. The extra bed provided was a camp bed that was uncomfortable and unstable, so our child ended up sleeping on the sofa, which was more comfortable. The room also came with only two small, military-style blankets and lacked even a spare bed sheet or extra blanket, something one would expect when renting a suite. The shower’s ceiling was full of humidity, the shower head stand was broken, and three out of four table lamps were not functioning. In terms of cleanliness, after the first night, the cleaners tidied up but did not replace any of the towels with fresh ones, which was disappointing. Overall, the lack of attention to detail and basic amenities made our stay far from what we had expected from a suite. We had checked photos beforehand, which gave us higher expectations for the experience. This place is definitely not worth €140 per night, as its amenities and functionality are very basic.

There was black mold in our room and the sheets were stained. There was a terrible odor in the room caused by the mold which was unhealthy to inhale. When we asked to leave, we were told we had to pay the full price because "we used the toilets and sat on the beds" which was illegal. Very bad experience.

We called today to make a reservation and clarify some stuff abut our stay and the man who answered the phone was one of the rudest and most unprofessional staff I have ever countered.If you can’t serve your clients and answer some basic questions politely then I cant even imagine even staying there and supporting such businesses. 0/5 so dissapointed because the area seems fantastic.

The room had dust and the water in the bathroom was cold. Also, the swimming pool was available for the guests who had a 2+ days reservation, but it wasn't stated.
