Krumlov Tower in Cesky Krumlov

Superb location. Parking near by. Unique accomodation. Great if you love history and/or architecture. It's certainly a very special place and kudos to the owners for actually turning it into an accommodation.

Not worth the money though, rather get a ticket to a castle somewhere around here and sleep in a traditional hotel.

There is no reception on site, you get a code to a safe which has a key inside. So if you do need anything you do have to call. There is no number on the website/email confirmation, but it is on the main entrance plaque on the door.

Mattress was too thin and worn out, the actual bed wasn't proper either some of the slats were broken. It was the most uncomfortable sleep of my life. If you want to actually sleep don't come here. Tbh considering they charge so much you'd expect them to invest in proper beds.

They used actual vintage/antique furniture (apart from the bed) in the room which was nice/interesting, and the bathroom has nice decor and used a lot of the original stone, but that came with a lot of moisture in there, so if you have any kind of respiratory issues probably not great.

However, staff was very accommodating when I called and told them it was too cold, they were there within 2 minutes with a heating controller, which was nice.

It's a special/unique accomodation to stay in, but I wouldn't do it again unless the bed was fixed and I would rather do it in the summer than winter.
