Because it's located high up on a hill, those with suitcases or a lot of luggage should be aware. Especially in Český Krumlov's main town, which only has cobblestone streets, walking with suitcases is particularly difficult. You might want to consider a transfer option. 30mins walk from the main train station, closer to bus station about 10mins. Hotel was really beautiful from the reception to the hotel room. Their breakfast buffet spread was good and food quite delicious. Staff was helpful to assist in booking taxi although made an error as they mentioned the room had bathtub but in fact did not.

It's a hotel with a classic atmosphere. They give you plenty of tea and other things, and the breakfast selection is decent. However, the creaky wooden floor and small desk are a bit uncomfortable. If you like an old-fashioned atmosphere, it might be okay. There's a bathtub, so that's a plus.

If 100 is a perfect score, I'd give this hotel 120. I hadn't originally booked it. However, due to various reasons, I booked it as a last resort. Everything was great, including breakfast, but most importantly, the service was excellent! We had booked a room that could have been either a king-size bed or two single beds. We contacted the front desk online, and they immediately checked for us and made a note to ensure we got a king-size room. That was really reassuring. The hotel is clean and close to attractions. However, you cannot park your car near the hotel, and it is noisy at midnight because of nearby bars. The internet connection is very poor. I wouldn't choose this hotel if I knew about these issues beforehand. The reception even misread the passport information to charge me an extra City council fee.

Seems like the staff had a lot of stress because something did not go as planned with a large(r) group. Nevertheless, we only wanted some desserts and had to wait really long before receiving the menu, before ordering and once we got them they were not that good even. We had better elsewhere.

A great experience. The hotel is a gorgeous medieval building right on the main square. Our room was huge and nicely furnished. Free parking available 5 minutes walk away. The location means it was noisy at night, and there is no air conditioning, but that comes with the age and location. Nice staff, good breakfast, and an exquisite location in a jewel of a town.

We booked De Luxe room with whirpool. We expected luxury for the price we paid, but unfortunatelly the only "de luxe" thing in the room was the whirpool (which was running fine). Seeing negative reviews of this place was surprising. Sure the hotel is not 5*, but owner is hands on, friendly, the language barrier is there, but manageable. Breakfast was good, linen crisp, room clean. Parking right in front. C’mon people if you wanna complain, book yourself in 5*! You get what you pay for. Only one suggestion, please add kettle, coffee and spoons to the room.

The hotel upgraded my room, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. They also offered to store my luggage after I checked out. Taking the bus, I got off at the Špičák stop, which is less prone to paved streets.

Český Krumlov itself is a small town, so it's easy to get to anywhere. The hotel is beautiful and cozy, and the facilities are nice. The breakfast was just average, perhaps because it's in the countryside. I highly recommend it.

I traveled to 4 countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Austria. But the most memorable was definitely the Czech Republic, and among them, Cesky! No, the accommodation was really, really nice. It was so spacious for two people to sleep in!!!!!! The breakfast was also really delicious. I really want to go back. Thanks to you, I have such good memories of Cesky.

We went to the Czech Republic for our honeymoon and stayed for one night. The accommodation was clean and we had a good rest. There were many places to see nearby and the interior of the room was just right.

The hotel has a great location; there's a church outside the window, and you can hear the bells ringing. The only downside is that the front desk isn't open 24 hours; you need to tell them your arrival time in advance, otherwise no one will be there.

The property was more than 500 years old. Great location! It's clean, the bed was comfortable. However, our room was very small, there were no chairs and no closet either. We stayed one night in this hotel. We had a very hard time finding property with directions from hotel. It is a very quaint hotel with lots of charm with beautiful views. With that being said, there are lots of steps which are difficult with luggage. They had a great breakfast. Fees we paid at hotel were much higher than ******* said would be required.

Excellent place in the heart of old town. We enjoyed our stay a lot. The room was specious, clean, quiet and comfortably warm (we were staying here in Christmas), equipped with all what you need. 10-15min walk from parking. Super kind service, super location, no mess, nice vintage furniture, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, sat tv, quiet place - because you stay on the first floor. Terrible access by car but great in every other aspect. We would not stay there again because of the congested driving access through the medieval streets or we would park in a public lot outside of the old town and take a taxi to the hotel (or you could walk) depending on your mobility. finding the place was a pain in the ass. no one is there to greet you so your on your own. took at least an hour to find the place and get access. its a shared house. so like 4 or 5 rooms in one house and your rent each room seperately.

Wonderful place in the midst of the medieval old town of cesky krumlov! We went off season so we had our included breakfast at another place close by which was absolutely fine with us. The room in this incredibly old building was lovely equipped with a tasteful combination of modern and historic furniture. We were kindly allowed to store our bikes in the entrance hall.

It's right next to the town square, just a short walk from the castle. The European-style breakfast is excellent. In short, it's convenient to go anywhere.

Great location, great service, great vibe. The interior takes you to the past 😃, in a good way! The only thing I’d add is a fridge (not a big problem in the winter) and a kettle with some cups - those were not available, at least in my room(deluxe king).

We were given a loft room, which was of a decent size, but a little inconvenient to take a shower.

It's close to the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. For parking, search for "P1" on Google Maps. The view from the Krumlov Castle observation deck was fantastic. The quiet atmosphere and spacious rooms were a nice touch. If you're planning a one-night stay in Cesky Krumlov, this would be a good choice.
