Hotel Konvice in Cesky Krumlov

Quiet room in a charming small hotel in the middle of Cesky Krumlov.

The location is excellent, with the famous cave restaurant right next to the hotel. The rooms are exceptionally large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is unique. The staff are warm and friendly.

Great hotel in the city center!

The hotel has a great location; there's a church outside the window, and you can hear the bells ringing.

The only downside is that the front desk isn't open 24 hours; you need to tell them your arrival time in advance, otherwise no one will be there.

Historical building converted hotel, antique interior decoration, like a sense of history must like, in short, I super like 😍.
I stayed in a 4 person 2 room type, modern facilities, washroom usually modern equipment, water hot enough not intermittent, good bed to sleep, large space, can open 4 suitcases.
The hotel is near the entrance of the Old Town Square, we arrived in the afternoon, the shuttle can stop at the door, no need to collapse on the stone road to push the suitcase, even to CK AN bus station is a 15-minute walk, very convenient.
Living close to the entrance, in the morning tourists arrive will flock downstairs, however with double windows and doors, I am not strong awake to sleep, it does not affect. 。
CK is actually not big, walking from the hotel to Mantle Bridge is 15 minutes, so I chose convenient to come and go location to stay.
Kulenlov Observation Deck Park is right next door, so you can visit or take photos anytime morning and evening.
The staff is super nice, although some difficult D English communication, have to wait for the boss to come.

It's a decent guesthouse. The streets in this small town are notoriously difficult to navigate with luggage, but their location was close to where we got off the bus, so it wasn't too bad despite the tiring journey.

At check-in, I waited a bit for my friend's booking, but it was inexplicably cancelled. However, since we were the only group checking in that day, there were still rooms available.

There's no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage yourself, but the guesthouse staff will help! They're really nice!

The breakfast included was supposed to be a personal meal, but when we went downstairs, we found it was a buffet – incredibly plentiful and delicious!

If you have plans to leave early the next morning, I recommend paying in advance. We waited until 8:04 AM for the owner to open the door, but our CK shuttle reservation was for 8:05 AM, so we were very rushed.

Overall, it was good, but it was quite cold without the heating on.

The hotel is located within the town of Český Krumlov (CK). Luggage can only be unloaded 200 meters from the hotel and then carried inside. It's advisable not to bring large suitcases, as the old town has cobblestone streets that can easily damage suitcases. The hotel is a converted old building, retaining its traditional atmosphere, but the breakfast is very generous.

Loved Hotel Konvice as a place to stay. Large rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Very nice family runs the place. If we get back to Cesky Krumlov we would go back to Hotel Konvice.
