Copenhagen Island Hotel, Copenhagen1 / 25

Copenhagen, Kalvebod Brygge 53 (45 min from centre) 🧭 Map
On the first day, due to a late flight (which I had informed the hotel about in advance), I arrived at 1:30 AM. It took me a while to find the hotel entrance. Once inside, I got my room card, but I had to go up and down to the front desk three times to find the correct room. The first time, the room number written looked like a 5 but was a 6. The second time, two people came out of the room because...
Overall, a very nice hotel! The transportation is super convenient, really close to both the subway and train stations. We booked a harbor-facing room; it was very clean and tidy (though a bit small), with good ventilation and natural light, and the view was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was decent too.
Good breakfast, location ok. Everything is very important expensive. Park is 400 DDK day
Stayed at Copenhagen Island Hotel during my trip to Copenhagen. The hotel has a great waterfront location and the rooms are modern and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located near the train station and shopping area, making it easy to get around the city. However, one downside during my stay was that the tap water in the bathroom appeared yellowish. Because of this, I didn’t feel comfortable using...
Love this hotel so much!!! I visit here with my friend, and the place is so convenient! The hotel nears the tram and Metro, and also a mall and ikea just nearby. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Copenhagen!
The location is incredible and the hotel looks great and very modern, I recommend you book the room with the view to the lake. The only downside is you have to inconvenience yourself to ask for room service the day before you want it, and also ask for clean towels, although apparently they enter your room everyday and give you new mugs if you used the ones provided.

Just a short walk to Tivoli gardens and the staff was kind enough to give us early check in at 11 am. Breakfast spread was good - since we dont eat meats there were fresh pancakes, vege dumplings and even miso soup. Room was comfy and had all the amenities you need. Highly recommend !
The 1.5-meter-wide bed advertised online was actually 1.2 meters, which is a huge discrepancy. The room facilities were also old and some were missing.
The location is excellent, the cleanliness is good, the bed is comfortable, and complimentary water and coffee were provided, but the room was cool and there was excessive elevator noise. The hotel has sound insulation problems. You can hear sounds from the next room. The price is a bit expensive.
Very satisfied. The room's large windows are beautiful, and the size is quite large for Europe. The location is also great. The amusement park is downstairs, the Pink Cinema is a few minutes away, and the Seaview Library is a 20-minute walk. The Little Mermaid and New Harbor require a subway ride, but they're not far either. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Service: Excellent. We ordered takeout...
Rooms are tiny. This may be typical for Copenhagen. Not sure. Location was good. Staff was friendly.

Good locations with restaurants and shopping mall, 5 mins walk to metro.
Amazing location and great facilities. Highly recommended!
The environment is fantastic, the language is friendly, and you can see the windmills and round buildings by the sea from the window. The facilities are comprehensive, with plenty of restaurants and bars. It's very close to the subway station, and nearby 7-Elevens and supermarkets are also very convenient. It's also close to the city center, making it easy to get around. PS: Definitely choose a high...
Breakfast was good, the croissants were delicious, and the room was large enough for a family of three, but they didn't provide a sofa bed, and the facilities were a bit worn.

Great hotel with good location and very friendly stuff. Breakfasts are good here, but if you’re late for it - there is a possibility that you won’t find some items there. We faced a construction that was quite annoying is it was next to our room, but generally speaking the hotel is nice.
Had an incredible stay here. There is construction ongoing, but in my opinion it did not impact my stay at all. I never heard construction earlier than 8:30, and even then only when I was in common areas. The staff is what truly made this hotel 5 star. They were so helpful, gave fantastic recommendations, and were just overall so pleasant to interact with. I look forward to staying again.
Stayed here twice, once before and then after a cruise. First time, check in not brilliant, only 2 receptionists, then one disappeared, returned to get sidetracked by a guest that had asked another member of staff a question, even though there was a large queue we were ignored. When he finally returned, apparently they were just checking our room, we were asked to wait, and after over half...
We loved this hotel and our room, I would recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen and would definitely come back! A few things that stood out: -Location: Super central to everything we wanted to walk to including amazing shopping right down the street, good restaurants and parks, and the train from the airport stops only a few blocks away (only a 20 minute ride) -Style: Great moody Scandinavian...
Perfect central location, only 15mins from the airport. The service from setting foot into this hotel was exceptional! All staff are professional and friendly. We had a lovely Skyline View room, great size and lovely and clean. My favourite part of our stay was the amazing breakfast buffet, the best I have experience in all my years of travelling. So much choice, and all fresh. Lovely atmosphere in...
Perfection Start to finish. bellman/concierge, front desk, restaurant staff housekeeping... Every single staff member was utterly kind, attentive, and genuinely respectful. Absolutely wonderful experience. Lovely place top to bottom. Our room was perfection. We chose a balcony room, and it was one of our favorite parts of the Copenhagen experience. Convenient location , easy walk to the metro. Nice clean rooms
Hotel a tasteful restoration of a series of adjoining building blocks near Norreport station in Central Copenhagen. The location is close enough to central part of town but a few blocks away from the busy station. This is perfectly walkable (or bike-able) for those who are fit, but is a bit of a trek if you have luggage or are traveling with small children or elderly or less mobile. Rooms are well...
Location is okay, about 15mins metro ride from the airport and the hotel is just a 7mins walk from the metro station. The receptionists are fantastic, friendly and efficient. The hotel offers guest a free drink everyday from 5-6pm. The aesthetic of the hotel and lobby is great. However, the room that I booked is a little small for 2 pax, and very old. The shower-head’s water pressure is low,...
Professionally run boutique hotel.  Will return  to stay for its location. Room size for standard room is European standard.
Great location. Nice hospitality
The hotel is great, the room isn't small, and the bed is comfortable. The downside is that it's a 9-minute walk to the subway station, and there are some cobblestone paths along the way. If your luggage wheels aren't very smooth, it could be a pain. However, it seems to be quite close to a 5C bus stop. All in all, I had a very pleasant stay.

Simple, clean, affordable hotel in a convenient location. Beds in the base room category (bunk beds) are a bit too narrow and thus uncomfortable for a larger person or someone who moves a lot in his sleep (like me…)
Basic does the job, right where you want to be so a good location. Basic but good.
Hotel was located in a great spot. Unfortunately the toilet was very small, and the shower area was nearly none existing. After a system erro, the staff was very friendly and helped me and my partner to get an upgrade for free, which was very very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly
It was cheap and in a fairly good distance to city center. The room, however, was extremely small and the shower/wc all-in-one solution is a no go. Basically, you are taking a shower in your toilet. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I can recommend this place to a backpacker that does not need comfort but for us as a couple it was not the best option.
The room size was larger than I expected. The location is about a ten-minute walk from the central station/bus stop. You can also walk to the City Hall and then take the subway to reach the attractions. There's a bus stop 100m from the entrance with the 5C bus, which goes directly to Nyhavn.
The location was great but the room is very small and bathroom smell so bad its like 20years old hotel and there was no facilities at all like at all even for luggage u have to pay

Very nice hotel, with a gym and Sauna. Also, quick links into the city by train. The only reason I mark down is that I didn't realise there was no kettle. Also the hairdryer was not the best. Otherwise the staff were quick and nice, and the building is very clean.
It was vey clean and the staff were friendly
Excellent, clean and comfortable stay.
Excellent, clean and comfortable stay.
The hotel was very clean and tidy. The front desk staff were super friendly. Although the room didn't have a kettle, free hot water was available from the coffee machine at the front desk. You'll need to take a bus or light rail to get to the city center.
Scandic is a common mid-range hotel chain in the Nordics. This particular one's advantages are its proximity to the airport and reasonable local pricing. The rooms are fairly clean and tidy, breakfast is plentiful, and there's free parking (register at the front desk). However, the room facilities are on par with a budget hotel like Hanting in China, and disposable toiletries are definitely not provided...

The hotel room is compact for two individuals, but it is satisfactory. The staff is amiable, and they always greet customers with warm smiles while assisting them. The breakfast is average. The overall organization and cleanliness are commendable. Although it may not be a luxurious 5-star hotel, it offers the necessary comfort for travelers.
Great sleep and fab breakfast. We chose this hotel at the last minute. All we needed was somewhere clean, functional, with good beds, en-suite, close to the Metro, and with a good breakfast. The Park Inn ticked all the boxes. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's all we needed and at a good price. The staff at reception, in the bar, and at breakfast were all lovely.
This hotel has the easiest access from metro station ever, two stops from airport and six stops from center of Copenhagen. The check-in was literally 10 seconds. There is a sauna and swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing with it's offer. Staff was helpful and we really appreciated the fact that cleaning ladies never came too early to clean. This was an excellent choice of hotel.
The hotel is old and needs redecorating. The room was small and cold. During the summer days it's probably hot since it has no air conditioning. No toilet brush in the toilet. Decent breakfast. Good hotel for one day stay before traveling to the airport but no more.
This is a very nice budget hotel. The only reason why I am taking out a star is because at least in our room, there was a stench only in the bathroom which appeared to be due to how the waste drain was set up in the bathroom. They have a wide array of food for breakfast and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is two metro stops away from the airport and easy to hop on the metro to the center...
For three nights we stayed at the Park Inn by Radisson that is only a few stations away from CPH airport. We ended up staying here unexpectedly after our flight got cancelled — we were supposed to meet someone, so we had to find a place near the airport last minute. The heating in the room wasn't enough in winter; I was freezing cold.
Excellent service. Very close to the Copenhagen airport and there is a good train connection between both. I will definitely use again when I visit Denmark.
Close to airport (1 station away) and metro (direct line to major attractions), good for one night stay. Room is clean and decent size. Can be considered if on budget travel.
The facilities are a bit old, but the service is great and it's quite close to the airport.
Facilities: Established Nordic hotel style, simple and minimalist. Hygiene: Very clean, every part of the room was spotless. Environment: One metro stop from the airport, then about a 10-minute walk. Service: The uncle at the front desk was professional, patient, and efficient. Overall stay experience: Very good.

This hotel is at an excellent location, not to mention the wonderful design of the lobby and hotel room. We had a very good experience here. Definitely worth the price.
We requested a quiet room and were given one facing the inner courtyard, which was indeed quite peaceful. The room was spacious, though it felt a little bare. The free minibar was a nice bonus. The main downside was the slow check-in process—despite having over 200 rooms, only three counters were open, resulting in about a 15‑minute wait at 4:30pm. Check-out was quicker, and while the key card didn...
The hotel's design was adorable, and the room was very clean. There are many rooms, so it was a bit of a walk to get to ours. Its central location makes it super accessible. The price is a bit on the higher side, so I'd recommend it for a special occasion.
A hotel with great design and a perfect location. If you're tired, you can quickly do some shopping while resting at the hotel.

We love to stay here if we’re in Copenhagen
The room was small because of its good location, but the hotel had stairs that I had to carry my luggage up myself. The front desk seemed to discriminate based on social status; since I was Chinese, they gave me a room on a mezzanine level across the entire third floor, meaning I'd have to carry my luggage up stairs again. Nice cosy hotel, great location by train station and shops. The rooms are nice and stylish but due to a lack of curtains I had a terrible sleep. The room was right by street lights which shone into the room all night.
Absolutely gorgeous stay, in a beautiful ‘eco’ hotel. Great attention to detail - loved the body lotion and oil in the bathroom. Great location near the train station and walkable to all sites.
Very welcoming , very cosy . A really nice place to be - not just a sterile hotel. Appreciate the sustainability as well !

What a cozy and lovely hotel! The facilities are great, and the service is excellent. My only suggestion would be to add more closet space. It's a bit out of the way, but that wasn't an issue for us as it's a quick walk to the city center.

The room is clean enough and a little bit small but there is enough space to spend to chill after long sightseeing. The wall is thin so we can listen to the noise from other rooms. Nicest access to the central station and great breakfast buffet .but the room is very small .the sink is too small to use well.
The room type I chose was a bit small, but it had everything one needs. However, I don't think it quite meets the full standard of a 'Hotel.' The room was kinda dirty. We had to move to put the beds together. So, we saw that every corner had kind of trash and stuff left by previous guests. The wifi was horrible in our room.
