5 star hotels in Las Terrenas

The property was ok. The food was ok. There were termites in our room and on the bed due to the cheap wood used on the furniture. The staff took care of it right away but I don’t plan on staying here during our next visit to Las Terrenas. The pool was the best part.

Staff was amazing. A few glitches of inconvenience with the facility like water was out for half a day. Other than that, please place to just relax

We had an awesome time at this resort. We loved the beach, the layout of the hotel and the friendly staff. My favorite part was that there were a lot of cats in the grounds.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, but somewhat outdated. I loved the beautiful beach and huge pool. I am going to miss that beach with crystal clear turquoise water. They have a vast variety of food options in the buffet. Their food is also top quality. This resort has so many activities that it’s impossible to get bored.

The beach was beautiful and clean and the service was wonderful. Everyone was attentive and friendly very caring staff. Unfortunately we got very sick for 3 days, the medical staff were wonderful and the medical attention was outstanding. The room was comfortable. The food was ok too. It was a bitter sweat experience but overall happy we got to visit such beautiful place.

Our first visit was a 2 week stay. Wish we could have stayed a month or more. Great facility. Huge and spacious. Amazing beach. Room had private plunge pool. Was fantastic. Wonderful and beautiful resort with amazing staff. The breakfast is amazing. We were here for their Mother’s Day. The grilled buffet included seafood, ribs, fruit and vegetables. Delicious pastries available also. The staff makes sure your stay is everything you could ask for. Restaurant is lacking in taste and options for lunch and dinner.

This was a lovely place - it felt boutique and the staff were very good, kind, attentive and helpful. Being completely comprehensive, the food and the pool were not 5 stars but the beach and the service/other food options made up for it. Would def recommend and was an oasis we’d return to.

Wonderful place. Like living in the castle. The view is marvellous, beds are huge, breakfast is delicious. People who work here are nice and welcoming.

Very simple and clean! The views are spectacular. Located in the middle of everything you could enjoy! The hill is a steep drive so may not want to walk up n down. Owner is very communicative and has staff on site to meet your needs. we missed breakfast since we had other commitments at 8am. fully stocked kitchen so you can cook and refrigerate food. We will be back!

The owner reached out to me as soon as I made my reservation. I was able to text him with questions before and after our arrival. Good value. Comfortable stay. We were greeted in the lobby by Carmen, who was a gracious and delightful host. She arranged packed breakfast for us when we had to leave early and would miss the time. We did have to ask for things for our room. Housekeeping did not always provide. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was great. It is a good place with good value overall

Overall it was a great stay. I dont like to complaint, but i like when hotels worry more about their clients. My rooms ac was not working. I heard someone’s ac unit was leaking water.

Carmen is a star, great stay! Carmen, who worked reception, was so wonderful and nice and helped me with everything. The room was simple but had everything I needed plus a large balcony with a great ocean view!

There was no conveniences on site. No coffee makers in the rooms. The staff spoke no English. The room itself was large clean and beautiful.

I will definitely come back to this hotel in my next trip to Las Terrenas. My only suggestion is to upgrade the main entrance's door, as it can be an inconvenient to keep calling with our cellphones every single time we need to enter or exit the facility. Just like the elevator, we should be able to use our room's key to come in.or step out.

We just got back from Las Terranas! We stayed with a group of friends (four couples) at the Albachiara. Two couples had their own room and we shared a two-bedroom room with another couple. All the rooms were clean and super cute! We especially loved our two-bedroom. Very unique, nice little decorative touches, breezy and comfy patio, and really nice pool. It's an amazing place surrounded by nature. The whole complex has a river filled with animals running below it which is pretty neat. Only reccomendation would be to bring your reppellant since at night mosquitoes get fiesty in las Terrenas

We had such a good time. My kids loved the large pool. It was so spacious and not crowded. The beach was only a few yards away from the pool. Everything was kept neat a d clean from the common areas to the apartments. I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly kind and understanding. I plan to go back.

Excelent place to stay if you have the chance, the beach is beautiful, the building are with an eco-friendly design, leaving the mangrove swamp as it is and constructed around them, pretty close to las Terrenas beach and a few really good restaurant. The only downside is that the beach club doesn't sell breakfast nor dinner and that the are no signs to know where things are (got lost a few times)...
