Samana Province, Las Terrenas, Crta. las Terrenas - El Limón, km. 4 🧭 Map
Staff amenities treatment food. Everything was excellent. Definitely recommended Im coming back.
The staff were very friendly and respectful. I have to say that the rooms need an update specially the bathrooms.
The food was also really good. All activities were fun and the beach was incredible.
Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic.
Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English.
You can walk on the beach for miles and miles. About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito.
We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year.
Excellent resort for all ages.
Book here, you won't be disappointed!
The resort grounds are beautiful and so we'll kept! The rooms are very spacious and clean, theyre just dated and it's showing it's age. The staff are FABULOUS, from the moment they arrived they were great. The buffet food was just okay and after a week it gets to be a bit much, saying that the restaurant itsrlf is lovely and having the a la carte options for 3 nights is great and the restaurants were...
Great location, near town if you want to go and explore. The beach is beautiful, those bright blue waters that I think everyone wants to see in their life! There are areas in the resort that are louder and more energetic if that's your vibe - for us we wanted to be in quieter areas, and there was space for that. There's a quiet pool for anyone that doesn't want the craziness of the big pool at the...
Our family had an amazing stay at Bahia Principe El Portillo, and I want to highlight the people who truly made our vacation special.
Kids Entertainment:
My daughter Victoria absolutely loved the activities! A huge thank you to Luisairis, Beba, and Dominga — they are incredibly warm, energetic, and creative. Every day Victoria ran to them with a smile, and we always felt she was safe, engaged, and...

This place is perfect to spend a weekend
All clean, amenities good, except the air condition wanst function ok. The rest was fine.
very well worth the money, great amenities close to everything felt safe
this was a last-minute decision, the property was very nice, my family was very happy with the room. the private patio and pool/jacuzzi were excellent. Liliana was great bringing us the breakfast that we had ordered during our stay. kirssy was very polite great at check in and check out very informative about the area. responded quickly to my questions. and always followed up. and was extremely helpful...
Had a lovely stay here- and look forward to coming back to Las Terrenas
Property limit and force restrictions on the usage of air conditioning in to the unit for saving money on energy, incredible for a beach destination in the middle of the Caribbean region.

My last week at the Viva V Semana resort has been filled with wonderful experiences that I will remember and cherish for a long time. From the attentive staff to the beauty of the location itself, I have been more than satisfied with my stay here. My favourite activity (among the many possibilities) was the twice daily yoga classes offered by a professional instructor of the company NRG2GO. I attended...
Room was nice and clean. Sound of the waves very nice.
The food was terrible. My husband actually used the word gross. Cold pasta, warm cheese. Empty juice or no glasses. Pizza is ok but for this price I do not want to eat pizza every meal.
Omelet was very good.
It is an only adults hotel, which means quite and relaxing time. Beautiful and well maintained gardens.
Beach is great, water is warm but rough. Maybe for younger people is good, they can use the boards/surfs that the hotel offer for free. It is fun!
Variety of food, abundant; but on my second day there I got sick. Si I loose 50% of my vacations feeling horrible.
Beds super comfy, AC working perfectly...
Ok resort - either twenty-somethings or older retirees for the most part.
Food was excellent but service was not.
If you don't speak French or Spanish, you will be ignored. Staff aggressive for tips and focus on that rather than providing real service. Found this from the Airport to the Resort and the day trips.
Beach was great for walks but incredibly rough and the water was cloudy, which meant snorkelling...
The room had a foul smell to it but we figured that since we would only be there for sleeping, we could deal with it.
The staff were okay just that we felt that unless you were a foreigner (caucasian) they would have treated us with respect and equality.
The food was not as good as Viva Cabarete and the drinks were also watered down.
Worst thing that happened that our 3rd day there I became sick...
The check in staff was phenomenal. The only incident was in the morning when a gentleman by the name of Felipe approached us to talk to us about the club. We’ve been in many resorts and are not interested in this at this time. Have had very bad experiences with this timeshare/club sessions. The gentleman became very defensive when my husband said he was not interest. He got a bit rude and said he was...

An amazing spot. So chic & clean & quiet!
Our stay was better than I expected!
Everyone was courteous and ready to help.
I can’t wait to come back
Nice infrastructure, exciting beach, friendly staff - only prices are extremely high (double espresso dop 600 = usd 8.5 and water by aqua panda dop 750) prices higher than in Switzerland.
little paradise
we have stayed twice before , this time , we rented a villa
everything about the place is great .
only problem this time was that we only got hot showers twice in 4 days , for the price , it is not acceptable!!
also the level of the restaurant , is not up to par , compared to a few locations we have been to , they should really look into upgraded the cooking!!
but aside from that...
Excellent service , very clean, food amazing, there’s no complaints about sublime quality.
Very Nice place! The beach was incredible, we had a room with private pool, it was quite big. The staff was very friendly too. Would definitely come

Very clean and spacious rooms. The place feels very safe and is very close to the center and the beach.
Luisa is very friendly.
Good WiFi and reliable hot water.
Nice swimming pool.
The check-in process is a bit too manual and could be better automated.
The room was excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast simple but tasty. The pool is small and nice, giving a boutique hotel vibe. Perfect location—just a 4-minute walk from the beach and town center. Super clean rooms. Totally worth the price—we had a great time!
Clean rooms, attentive staff, great area with lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the beach
Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not overly large, but are very comfortable. The area is a little off the beaten path, but more interesting for that reason. We ran into...
Service here is phenomenal. The people working here are very sweet and attentive to anything you need. Breakfast is included, and it's from 7-10:30 a.m. It was the highlight of my day since the young men cooking are very sweet and make omelets with much love. There are many other options you can enjoy. It is a short walk from the beach, and there are various beaches along the coast of Las Terrenas...
Very cozy & Pleasant small hotel. The place sits in the back area of the center of Las Terrenas, about 400-500 FT from the beach. The rooms are well appointed & have everything you need, there are a total of 10 rooms? This place is good for those seeking a quiet Yoga like setting. Lots of vegetation, nice pool area. Luis, the caretaker is extremely nice & highly attentive to our requests. He cooks...
