Hotels with pool and beach in Las Terrenas

About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito. We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year. Excellent resort for all ages

Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic. Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English. You can walk on the beach for miles and miles

The beach is beautiful, those bright blue waters that I think everyone wants to see in their life! There are areas in the resort that are louder and more energetic if that's your vibe - for us we wanted to be in quieter areas, and there was space for that

There's a quiet pool for anyone that doesn't want the craziness of the big pool at the front of the resort, and you can walk along the beach and find quiet areas where you can just relax! Everyone is lovely, we have had an amazing time!

My favourite activity (among the many possibilities) was the twice daily yoga classes offered by a professional instructor of the company NRG2GO

Fake crab main ingredient seafood stew, canned mushrooms in salad, overcooked fish and meat, etc). The fact that the Vip staff keep harassing you to attend their sales pitch is also very annoying when on holiday

My last week at the Viva V Semana resort has been filled with wonderful experiences that I will remember and cherish for a long time

From the attentive staff to the beauty of the location itself, I have been more than satisfied with my stay here

I attended regularly (and sometimes twice a day) and was always very pleased with the class and the instructor

She knew how to adapt the poses to suit different levels of abilities and was personable, making the class fun as well as beneficial

only problem this time was that we only got hot showers twice in 4 days , for the price , it is not acceptable!! also the level of the restaurant , is not up to par , compared to a few locations we have been to , they should really look into upgraded the cooking!! but aside from that we love the place ! we are lucky enough to be chefs , and know where to go buy fresh seafood locally , and we make...

fruits, drinks amenities waiting for us and safty box for our valuables. As we left room toward the beach, large pools and cabanas, great restaurant on beach side with a staff full of smiles & joy to see you

Well designed menu with great food choices. The BEACH with it's soft sands and crystal clear warm gental waves waters will make you want to burn your passports and just call it Home forever

Wonderful and beautiful resort with amazing staff. We were here for their Mother’s Day. The grilled buffet included seafood, ribs, fruit and vegetables. Delicious pastries available also

Nice infrastructure, exciting beach, friendly staff - only prices are extremely high (double espresso dop 600 = usd 8.5 and water by aqua panda dop 750) prices higher than in Switzerland.

this was a last-minute decision, the property was very nice, my family was very happy with the room. the private patio and pool/jacuzzi were excellent

Close to the beach, beautiful vegetation and quiet location. Unfortunately I was not able to sleep. The air conditioning was set so cold and there were no blankets. Additionally there was no access to internet.

Property limit and force restrictions on the usage of air conditioning in to the unit for saving money on energy, incredible for a beach destination in the middle of the Caribbean region.

Liliana was great bringing us the breakfast that we had ordered during our stay. kirssy was very polite great at check in and check out very informative about the area. responded quickly to my questions

It was the best part of our trip, we felt so welcome, the staff at the desk, the huge smile of the doorman, the managers and the ladies in the breakfast area, the pool was clean even after rainy days, we would love to go back next year

The warm welcome of the front desk , follow by a beautiful stunning suite, very clean ,sheets and towels had a fresh clean smell, i went for one night and decided to stay another one , fell in love with this place, thank you to all the staff , definitely will be back soon

They have a full kitchen, so you’re able to cook your own meals. Otherwise, right outside you have local restaurants that offer fresh fish.

The lady at the office was very kind and diligent

Also, no hot water! We had to turn on and off the shower constantly to get hot water for a bath. Asked for a credit at the front desk for this and I was told that they were so sorry, but no credit

The reception staff were friendly, but the people working at the beach restaurant were incredibly slow, inattentive, and careless: you had to ask them to serve you or prepare your food because they never had anything ready

Clean room right in front of the beach and next to the coconut trees. It was beautiful and peaceful.

They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away

This is our third visit to Las Terranes and likely to poorest shape the beach was in. We don't hold that against the hotel since the beach is not privately owned and no one can control the stormy weather

We felt it was easier to just deal with it than try to get it fixed. The location was perfect for us since we had friends staying in a house just down the road. The beach is just over the street

I would describe the breakfast as "good" and the service was also good. Stay here if you want a comfortable place on the beach at a reasonable price, but it's far from 5-stars

The room was spotless, the pool was great (bartender Robert makes the BEST drinks in the area), hotel food was flavorful, breakfast was really good. The beach is rocky though, but a nice place to relax

The pool in the past has always been crystal clear. This stay it was cloudy. I'm sure they'll correct it

The room was spotless and the complementary breakfast was delicious. We had a concern with a bathroom balcony door that was addressed within 15 min of the management being informed.

The property was nestled steps from the beach on a narrow road. The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was delicious and the room was decent. I would definitely stay again.

My mid September 2025 stay was such a pleasant surprise. So often in some of these stays the water pressure and temps vary, the A/C falls short of spotty electric service. Hotel Alisei never disappointed

This is my 5th stay at Alisei, I just love how at home I fee. You have options of different sizes apartments that makes this place perfect for any occasion family or just romantic event

A lovely Hotel just steps to the beach but tucked away in a quiet back street. Well equipped common area with full kitchen and pool for entertaining! Reasonably priced.

The place feels very safe and is very close to the center and the beach. Good WiFi and reliable hot water. The check-in process is a bit too manual and could be better automated

Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs

Literally go right across to the beach for the complimentary breakfast. The pool looked beautiful ( but we did not get a chance to get in). And porch had a fan that helped with mosquitoes

Toilet tissue and hand soap provided Cons: No paper towels or dish soap provided so you definitely have to purchase. Stove didnt really work great. Definitely buy water as you will only get a couple at check in

Sadly one soda was already open when we checked in. The fridge is a bit dated and rusted. There are pots and pans but not ideal for longer stays if you an on actually cooking. Just not enough to be functional

Two bathrooms is always a plus!!! And they bidet and Hot Water ( this is a serious plus) were excellent. The beds were comfortable as well. The location is impeccable, right on the playa bonita strip

Old school persianas that opened leading from the porch to the main room. The landscape was also plush and beautiful

No coffee maker ( big disappointment) The the furniture is a bit worn down

Clean. A/C works 100%... Only issue is that the main Club is right in front so be ready to club n dance to the music n noise till 2am.weekdays.

We were a group of four and booked one of their apartment suites — it was incredibly spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was also a major plus

It’s close to a wide variety of restaurants and in an area full of amenities, shops, and dining options, which made everything super convenient

Highly recommend this hotel. Amenities, staff and uniqueness of this hotel will make it the ONLY place I stay in Las Terrenas !

I Stayed At The Property Two Times So Far And Everything Was Great I Planned To Revisit Again Soon

Close to the beach and easy access to the town centre, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, loads of bedrooms and bathrooms, very spacious and airy, rustic and quaint building but with all modern conveniences

Cooked fresh breakfast each morning, pool clean and relaxing. The view from this place is fantastic.

The Location is Grate, close to the beach and the amenities as well as the night Life action. Love the pool and Family friendly. With lots of room to hang out

I can’t say enough about this wonderful place. The staff, the resident pup, the views and the room met and exceeded my expectation. I stayed two weeks and it was such a big part of my vacation adventure

Wonderful place. Like living in the castle. The view is marvellous, beds are huge, breakfast is delicious. People who work here are nice and welcoming.

We loved the breakfast; you can choose between eggs or pancakes. It includes a fruit cocktail, natural juice, coffee, and bread. There are a wide variety of restaurants and spectacular beaches around Las Terrenas

Really enjoyed the quietness of the hotel. The breakfast has good options depending on your taste. The bedroom is quite large and the bed is comfortable. And the beach is less than 5min walk from the hotel

They also have gazebo space for yoga and group classes. Meals cooked by staff were great. Walking distance from the beach and other restaurants. Shoutout to Yakeuiris and Yokaira !!!

Staff was super sweet and fun ! Villas were very clean and the common areas were very well kept, felt like a little paradise. The pool is salt water and is available for use 24hrs

Personal, weather, food , place everything was amazing , The reason for our trip was for my birthday and all the staff, including the owner and manager Betania, made me feel welcome and like family. I recommend it 100%.

Little gem The propert is very close to the beach, was very clean (one of the few dominican ones where the taps didn't have limescale), great air con, very nice garden and pool

With only seven thoughtfully decorated bungalows nestled around a lush tropical garden and refreshing pool, it feels more like staying with friends than at a hotel

Hotel Enjoy ,was very pleasant and quiet. The room was very clean with fresh flowers decor, clean Linens. Only one small problem, having trouble adjusting the cold and hot water. But It did not spoil my stay there

There are two single beds upstairs. Beach is directly in front of hotel after crossing the street, though not much room for a beach

Villas clean with a/c in sleeping area. Downstairs has a room with a king bed and closed room while upstairs has air also, but not as cool since it is open to the main area with curtains partially giving privacy

Josefina made our reservation so easy and communicates well with any needs we had to the staff. Location is perfect and breakfast great with a beautiful view of the ocean from the second floor above the offices

It was really good, I didn't stay at the hotel, but I stayed all day in the restaurant ant the beach chairs and it was super, the service was excellent the food amazing really good tasting and interesting dinner plates and the restaurant is beautiful and next to the beach and the sunset is simply perfect

Went for the restaurant for now. If in Samana terrenas, this should be a stop you shouldn't miss. The atmosphere, beach, FOOD and service are spot on

DJ had the moment going so well, I thought i had arrived in heaven, wanted to burn my passport and stay forever. If your in the area, you have to Go and thank me later

The price is a little steep for the serving size, however the food was delicious and the ambience was impecable, they accept small dogs in the outer area and it was super cute to watch puppy sized dogs run around and play while we waited for our food

The beach is right across the street and there’s lounge chairs so you can relax on the beach. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Then there’s a beautiful pool that you can relax at as well

Great friendly staff. We got the big suite with a private jacuzzi. Great amount of space and we had about 7 people us. It’s a perfect location. Right in front of the beach and local restaurants.

Great beach access. The lower cost rooms are basic. In general, it does not seem like customer service is a high priority anywhere in DR.

Absolutely fell inlove with the place as soon as i got here. The staff here is so welcoming and quick. My vacation here was suppose to be 5 days but extended it to another week because of how much i love it here

Everything was nearby as well like restaurants, clubs, and SPECIALLY the beach. The owners were both there most of the days and it was honestly one of the best breakfast and dinners I have ever had

It's a quiet, peaceful little place of earth with beautiful plants and flowers, a nice pool and a small bar with the best Mojitos on the island :-) Plus it's really safe (looked 24/7) and you'll always find someone from the staff there to help you

Small pool with sun beds to soak up the sun. Only five villas, so quite private. We stayed in the only detached one which was fairly large, very clean with large bed and shower, including toiletries

However, the breakfast pergola also acts as a bar from 8. 00 hours, so can get a coffee there. Could do with longer bar hours, but to be honest, most of the other visitors were out all day

Las Terrenas can be a bit hectic, and HPP’s extremely pretty layout of white cabins, lush green grounds, central pool and open-air breakfast room is sufficiently set back from the busy seaside strip to be perfectly tranquil while being only a ten-minute walk from the busy beach strip

The garden terrace with pool was like a little oasis and was a lovely area to unwind with a drink or two! Whilst the room itself was a little tight for 3 adults, it had everything we needed and was very tastefully decorated

However, we did find a little cafe over the road for lighter bites that suited us better. There are also good transport links for the lovely beach and old town; would definitely recommend this hotel

Quiet little hotel, great pool area, great service, good breakfast. but the lunch/dinner menu is limited and way too expensive for the quality of the food

It was very clean and had a maid service everyday, also providing fresh towels. We did sample the continental breakfast, which was lovely, and good value for money

A special mention to Estella on reception, who was very helpful during our stay

Fantastic service, room was exceptional and I would stay again! However nothing really in reach by walking - it is ok if you have a car.
