The room was excellent, the staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast simple but tasty. The pool is small and nice, giving a boutique hotel vibe. Perfect location—just a 4-minute walk from the beach and town center. Super clean rooms. Totally worth the price—we had a great time!

Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not overly large, but are very comfortable. The area is a little off the beaten path, but more interesting for that reason. We ran into people from France, Spain, Italy, Canada, and relatively few Americans. It definitely helps to speak some Spanish.

Service here is phenomenal. The people working here are very sweet and attentive to anything you need. Breakfast is included, and it's from 7-10:30 a.m. It was the highlight of my day since the young men cooking are very sweet and make omelets with much love. There are many other options you can enjoy. It is a short walk from the beach, and there are various beaches along the coast of Las Terrenas that you can enjoy. The reception was very welcoming and informational. She made sure we knew where all the amenities were and was very sweet and sincere. There is also a pool, which isn't the biggest but very private and is open at all hours. During my stay, I was the only one using the pool from time to time since the beaches are beautiful, and most people prefer to go to the beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas. My room had a very strong AC, and I can only complain about the water pressure in the showers. The water pressure is not the best, but the bathroom itself was really nice and clean. I'd recommend it.

Very cozy & Pleasant small hotel. The place sits in the back area of the center of Las Terrenas, about 400-500 FT from the beach. The rooms are well appointed & have everything you need, there are a total of 10 rooms? This place is good for those seeking a quiet Yoga like setting. Lots of vegetation, nice pool area. Luis, the caretaker is extremely nice & highly attentive to our requests. He cooks your breakfast to order. Had Luis not been such a pleasant & helpful person, the review could have been differently. We experienced the unfortunate wrath of mother nature, it rained for hours one evening & the hotel yard was flooded with approximately 1.5-2 Ft of water, not anyone’s fault. A couple of drawbacks: The doors are difficult to open with the provided key from inside & outside. We changed rooms due to the key issue, same thing happened with the new room & the new room had clear mold stains on the bed. This was concerning, we did not make the caretaker aware of it as it was late evening. During check in, the power went out, we had to wait outside the room until the power came in or caretaker brought a generator, ultimately it took too long & it was warm outside, we went out to dinner & power was back on a few hours later. Finally, the floor was dirty during check in, our feet were noticeably dirty from walking a few minutes in the room, house keeper cleaned the room the next morning. Overall, we enjoyed the place, The proximity to the beach, the exquisite breakfast & great service from Luis
