Beautiful resort, the food was fantastic. Staff were good and friendly but not many had very good English. You can walk on the beach for miles and miles. About 25 minute walk down the beach towards Las Terenas you come to a cool restaurant and bar called El Mosquito. We were there Nov 2025 and will be going back next year. I loved staying here! Location is perfect, short walk to beach and local bodega to buy food. Service was great, Morgan is extremely helpful and so sweet! The hotel in Silver turns the rooms are around 3 1/2 star but the place red on the ocean is optional gorgeous with the waves coming in very peaceful. Grateful walking for miles on the beach beautiful area but no swimming pool.

Hotel Atlantis was amazing. It’s a very quiet hotel with a beautiful property full of trees and plants, located right on the beach and beach path. The staff was fantastic. They arranged taxi services for us, and the housekeeping team was incredible—going above and beyond each day to keep our room spotless. There are lots of great restaurants and drinks just steps away. Best location across the street from Playa Las Ballenas, in Las Terrenas! We walked everywhere, including into town several times. Stayed for a week in December 2025. Hotel requires some updates for sure, but our 2 bedroom suited our needs even though we were not cooking in the kitchen.
