Cairo Governorate, Cairo, Cairo Complex Mall - Ankara Street 🧭 Map
The hotel is very outdated for its price. The only good thing is that it’s the only star hotel closed to the airport. Rooms facing the street is noisy.
Hotel is good if you are in transit and want to freshen up before another flight.
More like a 3 star rather than a 5 star hotel. But, the best rating about this hotel was the excellent service. Khaled and his team were exceptional.
The hotel was very nice and very close to the airport. They gave us free late check out was useful for an afternoon flight.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The reception area had nice background music, which made the atmosphere welcoming.
The only thing missing was slippers in the room, which would have added to the comfort. Overall, a good experience!
Great location close to Cairo airport. While property is somehow outdated but they managed to keep all facilities running perfectly. The breakfast buffet lacked taste but had a good variety to choose from.the Italian restaurant was fantastic and reasonably priced. Internet needs improvement. Need to offer free shuttle service to the airport. Good value for money.

Cairo Governorate, Cairo, Egypt Giza Governorate Dokki Ad Doqi A 26P7+5F5 🧭 Map
This is a 5-star hotel in the old city. Getting a taxi can involve a wait, and crossing the bridge often means traffic jams, which can be an issue if you have a lot of work in New Cairo. The surrounding area has a lively, local feel, making it more suitable for tourists heading to Giza. The breakfast was decent, and I really liked the gym. The hotel has a lot of rooms, and while the facilities aren...
Nice hotel with excellent services and the food is excellent. Very friendly staff. Only thing about the hotel is it’s location other than that recommended
The hotel feels very safe, and the security measures are reassuring, which I appreciated. However, the property is quite old and would benefit from renovation. Some of the cups and bed linens were not very clean, which was disappointing. In addition, the check-in process took much longer than expected.
Overall, it’s acceptable if safety is your top priority, but there is room for improvement in cleanliness...
It is really an excellent hotel, in a quite area. Rooms are very clean, the food is excellent, with an abundant breakfast buffet, and the staff always perfect. Everytime I travel to Cairo, I enjoy staying in Safir hotel, it's an important part of my experience in Cairo.
Location is ok, good options for food or shopping. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast is really great. Bit of a downside that the wellness area (sauna, steam and hottub) is divided to male and female section (which was a bit unexpected for us). Gym is really well equipped.
One of the traditional hotels in Cairo, located in a quiet yet bustling area. The room is clean and fully equipped, the furnishings are a bit dated. However, it offers good value of money for short-terms stays

Great location, right across from the Egyptian Museum. However, the room was very old and the drainage was slow. The shower would flood the entire bathroom. But for one night, it was bearable.
This is supposed to be a high-end hotel, yet the kettle in my room was broken upon check-in. The breakfast spread was ample, but the cold water served by the waitress in a glass cup tasted distinctly like tap water, and I couldn't tell if it was even mineral water. I'd really suggest the hotel management try a sip of the cold water served by the waitstaff, then a sip of tap water in a guest room, and...
The hotel is clean for its age, the staff are all super friendly from chef Abdulraman was the best, & Donia & Christine & Mohamed Raafat.
At the reception Mohamed made me feel as if I’m a regular quest here, very professional super friendly.

Breakfast at the Steigenberger Hotel Cairo was absolutely excellent. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, and everything was fresh and delicious. A special thank you to Donia, who was an amazing host — warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. She truly made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend starting your day here!
If you’re looking for an unforgettable breakfast experience in Cairo, the Steigenberger Hotel is the place to be! From the moment we stepped into the dining area, we were captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly blends luxury with comfort.

Very nice and safe, I like it there
the breakfast is marvellous, if you are from Asia and a solo traveller, you are highly recommend to stay in this hotel, they even have a souvenior right at the lobby.
The dinner is a buffet, but is slightly pricey

I like this one. It was pretty laid back. I'd suggest and be back again. The staff was nice.
Ms. Marsalina is a truly trusted and valued professional at Kempinski. She approaches guest relations with genuine care, patience, and warmth, making you feel heard and supported. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail reflect very positively on the hotel. She is without doubt a wonderful asset to Kempinski.

My brother spent his wedding day at Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski, and it was an unforgettable experience!

Beautiful hotel with great location in New Cairo! Would definitely recommend.
Wanted to mention housekeeping attendant Amr, who was always very attentive to details and engaging during all stay.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, we had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
Excellent stay for my first time in Egypt with the warmest welcome from Maria and Farah at the front desk. It was an awesome experience.
Also, I wish to mention Nada Ashraf for making sure my room was tidy and clean.
Kindly extend my appreciation to them as this is the only way to express my gratitude.

We had an excellent experience. Staff are very very friendly and always giving their all to satisfy their residents. None of the staff disappointed me, they were all very kind.

Excellent stay with outstanding services, but to pay for car parking while you are a guest for 6 days , it is really very confusing. However, I recommend to stay in such place, but try to find another place to park your car overnight.
The staff were excellent, very welcoming and genuinely customer focused. We were greeted by Mr Ahmed at the reception, who was exceptionally polite, kind and professional. He took the time to explain everything clearly, ensured we were comfortable, and patiently answered all our questions, which made the overall experience very pleasant and reassuring.
Had a wonderful stay there for a week for a wedding. Location is great (near airport and close proximity to different popular areas in Cairo). Mr Hany Khalaf was very helpful and courteous and the hotel staff were all very professional. Also great service at the buffet restaurant and particular from Mr Tamer who was very helpful, especially when we were at the restaurant with our child and baby. Great...
Amazing stay. The Renaissance team works around the clock to make every guest feel comfortable and truly looked after. Spent a night. Room is small and rather dark.
It wasn't clean. Room wasn't prepared well.
No bathroom towels.
Housekeeping staff couldn't understand English well.
Pleasant surprise to have dinner and breakfast included.
Lobby and grounds are lovely, well kept.
Location is ideal near airport. Free airport shuttle shuttle half hour was an advantage.
The room was spacious and close to the airport, which was great.
The hotel needs to up their game, I was allocated a room at check in which had already been occupied by another guest, you could imagine the surprise of myself and the guest when I tried to open the room at midnight. The reception gave me an upgrade, but the room wasn’t very clean it had stains in a lot of places, packaging of the tooth brush look like they date from the times of the Pharaoh.
It was really great everything, recommended.

"Excellent service and the security here is top-notch; I felt very safe throughout my stay. However, the cleanliness in the rooms could be improved. With better hygiene standards, this would be a perfect 5-star experience." Meena magdy
Amazing experience! The service was excellent, very friendly and professional. The amenities were well-maintained, and everything was clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and how helpful the staff were. Highly recommended for solo travellers or anyone looking for a relaxing stay
I stayed here recently for a work trip and had a fantastic experience. The location is excellent, and the room was exactly what I needed—calm and cozy. The breakfast was perfect for starting the day, and the crew was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended

As a first time visitor to Cairo, Egypt; we were extremely fortunate to stay at the Gewan Hotel. The entrance lobby is beautiful and the facilities, staff, and services are first rate. Most impressed with the dining families and the nearness to an incredible shopping centre and restaurants. Rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. A very safe and luxurious choice!
Great hotel in Cairo very near to the airport. I stayed here for a few days on my recent trip and loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. There is a small food strip in the precinct as well with good authentic places, as well as fast food (I recommend Murano!)
I would like to sincerely thank Mousa, Mohammed, Safaa, and Hanem from the housekeeping team at Gewan Hotel for their outstanding service. The environment is great, and I really love the hotel's garden. Even though it's 40 kilometers from the airport and not in the city center, it feels like a hidden paradise, and it's only a few kilometers from the pyramids. The food is decent, nothing spectacular. Staying in this kind of hotel for 500 RMB is only possible in Egypt. It's a genuine vacation experience. The hotel is mainly frequented by Europeans and Americans, and the guests are of good quality. The refrigerator has plenty of drinks and snacks, but you have to pay extra (be careful, it's in Euros € 😂).
Highly recommended hotel!
The hotel is a resort with a pleasant environment, featuring date palm trees and various flowers and plants.

This was the best hotel on my Egypt trip. However, it's still a far cry from luxury five-star hotels back home. The breakfast wasn't great; there was very little variety. Great location, lovely pool and food.
I’ve been to Cairo five times, and every single visit brings me back to the Kempinski Nile Hotel. It’s simply unmatched. The service is exceptional, warm, and attentive in a way that always feels genuine. The property is beautiful, secure, and incredibly comfortable - easily the most relaxing place to stay in the city. I always leave feeling cared for, rested, and looking forward to returning.
I had dinner at osmanly restaurant. They had 2 options of a set menu. Lamb or chicken.
The starters were ok, then the lentil soup was kind of acceptable but definitely could be better.
The main course was bad. I didn't like the slow cooked lamb or the sorr of risotto that was served under it. It didn't taste good at all.

The location of this hotel is perfect, right on the Nile. The balcony view is spectacular. Unlike other high-end hotels in Cairo, this one lacks the feeling of being in a "secure compound", while still being extremely secure. Due the major sickness of my friend we can’t travel and we try to refund the Aour booking but there no any consideration even we submitted a Medical report. I don understand it’s not refundable but atlest this kind of reason have exemption.
The service of this hotel 'staff is professional and passionate. I give them 5 star values, I will continue to book this hotel next time. I am very satisfied with them
