Gewan Cairo Hotel in Cairo

It’s a very good hotel with an excellent location and easy access to my destination. I really appreciated how quiet and peaceful it is.

The receptionists are very kind and welcoming, and the housekeeping staff keeps the rooms very clean. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I would especially like to mention RASHA — she is a very kind and supportive person who will gladly assist and guide you with anything you need in the room.

I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again.

We had an amazing stay at Gewan Hotel — everything from the comfort of the room to the overall atmosphere was excellent and well maintained. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind.

The highlight of our experience was Omer at reception. He was incredibly nice, friendly, and professional, and being multilingual made communication effortless. He surprised us with a complimentary upgrade, which truly made our stay feel special. On top of that, he actually took the time to engage with us, chat with us, and make us feel genuinely welcome rather than just another booking.

Side note: Honestly, if Gewan Hotel ever loses Omer, they might need to start offering free snacks, free upgrades, and emotional support just to keep guests happy. The man upgraded us, made us laugh, and spoke more languages than Google Translate on Wi-Fi. At this point I’m not sure if he’s a receptionist or the hotel’s secret weapon — but either way, give this legend a raise immediately. 😄

As a first time visitor to Cairo, Egypt; we were extremely fortunate to stay at the Gewan Hotel. The entrance lobby is beautiful and the facilities, staff, and services are first rate. Most impressed with the dining families and the nearness to an incredible shopping centre and restaurants. Rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. A very safe and luxurious choice!

Great hotel in Cairo very near to the airport. I stayed here for a few days on my recent trip and loved it. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent. There is a small food strip in the precinct as well with good authentic places, as well as fast food (I recommend Murano!)

I would like to sincerely thank Mousa, Mohammed, Safaa, and Hanem from the housekeeping team at Gewan Hotel for their outstanding service. We stayed on the 8th floor, and from the moment we arrived, their attention to detail, cleanliness, and genuine care made our stay truly exceptional. The room was always spotless, well-organized, and refreshed on time, with thoughtful touches that made us feel very comfortable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and dedication clearly reflect the high standards of the hotel. They truly went above and beyond, and their efforts did not go unnoticed. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Location is very good and a lot of facilities around it, rooms are very clean, restaurant for breakfast is good .

The only bad experience with me when I didn't find water in the room I called the reception and informed my request and they informed they will send water , but they didn't.

Overall, it's ok for short staying periods.

Sadly I only stayed here for a night but we received really quick service. They asked to check our passports at the lobby. And then we identified our bags and were given the keycsrd to our room.

My room had a really good view of the pool and the rest of Cairo, it was really neat and everything was functional. Room service came quickly. The food tasted AMAZING. And communication with the staff wasn't too problematic given English isn't their first language we all tried our best to understand each other. They were kind and I enjoyed my short stay.

My friends on the other hand had quite a few issues with their room and plumbing so i'd say 4/5. All in all I had a really good time.
