Reviews
What I loved most is that you truly don’t need to leave the resort for anything. They offer everything you could possibly want: a spa, padel courts, a gym, multiple restaurants, and so many activities throughout the day that you’re never bored. Whether you’re looking to relax or stay active, there’s always something to do. The water activities were a highlight for me — so convenient and fun without ever having to leave the resort.
The food was also a big win. I stayed for a full week, and I appreciated how the options changed daily, so it never felt repetitive. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared.
The staff really made the experience even more special. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. If you’re planning to book any tours or excursions, definitely look for Rahim on the beach — he’ll take great care of you.
Overall, Regina Resort is the perfect place whether you’re traveling solo or just looking for a relaxing, all-in-one getaway. I would absolutely return.
The rooms are different, some of them are good, some acceptable and some are not so good. We stayed in a standard bungalow, the furniture was old, but ok. It has a tv, a kettle, a refrigerator. Every day cleaning, the guy Ishan was very hard working and kind.
The food in not so good, same every day, not very tasty but you have what to eat, you are not starving. Alcohol drinks ordinarry, the beer is ok. Juice from the automat machine . Good coffee, Mayada from the coffee corner is a wonderful person.
The beach is ok, but you have to fight for sunbeds. The staff should not permitted to reserve with towels and never go to use them.
This hotel's pool and beach don't prohibit Muslim swimwear, but the cleanliness felt average, and the facilities are a bit old. A particular note for parents: the pool under the children's play area is very deep. Even though there are lifeguards, parents should definitely accompany their children.
The food is typical Egyptian quality, with freshly cut fruit and two dishes prepared live daily. The location is quite good, right in the middle of a lively area and very close to the city pier. However, be cautious of the small Egyptian souvenir shops to the left of the main entrance; I don't recommend them. If you really want to shop there, go with a group.
The hotel also has its own pier for direct sea excursions, but be sure to choose your boat captain carefully. The hotel's landscaping is well-maintained with many cats, and the beach water is crystal clear, perfect for spotting small fish and water birds. There's morning yoga by the sea and evening entertainment. There are many hotels in this area, so you might consider staying at a few to get a different experience.
The cleanliness of the room was terrible, the lock hadn’t worked for days, and nobody cared to fix it. We waited for hours in front of our room and no one came — they only told us 5–6 times to change the card at the reception, but even then the lock didn’t work, and we were strung along for days. The only polite staff were the people doing room service and working in the restaurant. Everything else was a complete disaster for that amount of money — the agreement was not respected, and cleanliness and atmosphere were at a very low level. As for the food, it is not suitable for people used to European cuisine — it is full of spices we are not accustomed to. The cleanliness of the bathroom, especially the shower cabin, was catastrophic, although I must praise the staff who provide room service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
The best part of the hotel was the location.
The hotel is located in Sheraton rd the heart of hurghada for tourists. Everything was walking distance from the shops, McDonald’s, mosques and marina. Overall it was not worth the money I paid if your wanting to be bit everynight then this is the resort for you!
On our first night we were given a filthy two bedroom apartment type of accommodation on the second floor with no lifts for a family with children which was absolutely shocking one room had no lights .
We were relocated to the bungalows which were dated and not maintained, the bathrooms are disgusting. The food wasn’t good either, we ate in the Italian restaurant located within the hotel one night and the food was horrible. The wellness and spa centre was a joke we had a massage in hospital ward types of rooms I was asked lie on a damp towel which had not been changed from the previous massage. This is not a 4* hotel it’s more 3*.So if you’re looking for luxury this is definitely not your choice.
