We've never experienced any discrimination; in fact, they've always been incredibly accommodating. The front desk often gives us priority check-in, and the lemon tea in the lobby is exceptionally good

What I did not really like was the closed bay with no access to the open sea. I do not like this, but for those with children, this is probably even a plus

The only downside is that it's so popular, rooms are hard to book. I hope it continues to improve!

The only downside is the poor bathroom design; one of the door frame legs is easy to bump into

The front desk staff was very friendly. I booked a sea trip on the day of check-out, so I checked out in the morning and stored my luggage. I came back to the hotel to pick up my luggage at 4 or 5 pm

I don't know if it's because of this season, there are so many mosquitoes in the hotel! Especially if you have travel plans in the near future, you must bring mosquito repellent items! Of course, you can also ask housekeeping to provide mosquito repellent

Water and bottled juices were at every step. The beaches, both those by the swimming pools and those by the sea, were large and with comfortable sunbeds

The hotel is very large, the swimming pool is also very large, the landscape has the sea leading into the hotel and the swimming pool, the environment is super good, and there are many facilities to play

The employee’s in the restaurant, also the waiter, the chefs, the manager, life guards and the room cleaners were very polite and helpful, thank you for that very good service! Dana beach is a very big resort with different pools also different restaurants with delicious international dishes and very good quality of food

Before booking, I saw some reviews about the hotel's discriminatory treatment and was quite worried, but after checking in, I felt that it was beyond my expectations. At first, the air conditioner in the room was broken

The first-row sunbeds were often just reserved as a precaution and left unused, which felt unfair to newly arrived guests like us

If I could give this hotel 100 points for its sea, service, and staff, I would. First of all, the food selection is extensive, and there's a restaurant specifically for Turks where we had dinner three nights a week

The kebabs were better than many places in Turkey; kudos to Chef Ali! Mr. Murat took great care of us and was very helpful from the first day to the last

Had a fantastic experience! Two days simply weren't enough, I'd say a minimum of three to five days is needed, and a full week would be perfect! Make sure to bring a snorkeling mask, the ocean here is stunning and incredibly picturesque, great for photos! I saw some reviews mentioning discrimination, but I believe it's on a case-by-case basis; we didn't encounter any issues

Everything else was amazing, but I would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding cleanliness. The bedsheets should be washed in 60°C hot water, as there appear to be bedbugs, and there seem to be quite a few

I came to Hurghada with friends, and the service at this hotel was consistent throughout. The meals were all buffet style, the service was quite good, the facilities were excellent, and there were many fun activities

The rooms are clean and complete. Maybe a little bit outdated but it was a good and large room for the four of us. People in the hotel were very friendly and doing a great amount of effect to give you a good time

Having recently stayed at this hotel. The waiting staff at the meeting point and bar staff by the pool are all amazing. The entertainment was great every night,with plenty to see

Everything was great except for the hotel management’s lack of respect toward the pasta chef at lunch, as he was standing under the scorching sun while there were movable umbrellas just a few meters away that could have been placed to give him some shade

The staff of the front office were excellent and professional and also thoseof the room service, but some of the staff at the restaurants are not the same, especially those at the oriental restaurant

You can order a la carte at the restaurant for lunch. At breakfast, there is a live kitchen (fried eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs) on the balcony of the restaurant, so it is recommended

There are several types of cocktails, and the lineup available at all restaurants and bars is the same. If possible, I recommend drinking at the lobby bar. It seems that you can smoke anywhere on the premises

Had a wonderful time so far, very hard-working friendly staff and fab entertainment. It can be a little harsh with entertainment if British/English but that is to be expected, its still a good laugh

We stayed in room 11011 from January 31st to February 9th. For a 5-star hotel, the bathroom needed a refresh. The silicone in the shower and dark furniture throughout the room and bathroom don't give it a modern feel

But that wasn't a major issue for us since we were out of the room most of the time anyway. The room was always beautifully cleaned and smelled nice. Things that should have been in the room were replenished

We also want to mention Muhammed, who carried drinks, juices, water, and other things to the beach. He was a wonderful, wonderful young man. We had the opportunity to get to know him better and grew to like him very much

We wish him and his newborn son all the best. I also have to mention the entertainment team. What a positive team! Their energy, passion, and dedication were truly inspiring. It wouldn't have been the same without them

Every evening, during showtime, we cried with laughter. If I forgot to mention anyone, I apologize in advance. There were so many of you and I didn't know everyone by name, but be proud of yourselves

The seven a la carte restaurants (reservations are required) are superb, and the food is very good. There's an eighth restaurant for an additional fee. The service staff (regardless of the discipline) is excellent

The rooms are spacious, if a little dated, but clean and equipped with comfortable beds. The food in the main restaurant is good, and there's a wide selection

The Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort is a somewhat older resort, but its location is perfect, with a large private sandy beach offering access to the Red Sea

The entertainment team works from morning until late at night to ensure everyone has a great time. We highly recommend this resort

No request is too difficult or too big, and they fulfill it whenever possible. In the evening, be sure to check out the lobby bar

As we were leaving, they even gave us two turtle plush toys as gifts, which we greatly appreciated! The staff by the pool were incredibly kind and always greeted us warmly

I lost my water bottle by the pool the day before, and two staff members helped me search for a long time the next day. My two kids were overjoyed to get it back

Best hotel at the red sea according to our experience. We have been there 4 times and will come back. The staff is professional, always friendly and helpful, quality of rooms, food and service is outstanding.

Overall, the quality feels a bit higher than what you'd find back home. The room provides various disposable amenities, the slippers are of good quality, and the toiletries come in small bottles

We stayed three nights at Kempinski during our visit to Soma Bay and it was great. First of all, the hotel is adjacent to Soma Bay Marina which makes it much easier to stroll around and do some souvenir shopping

The hotel compound is spacious, you have direct access to the beach and there is also several pools. The breakfast was included and had a huge variety of cuisines

Facilities: The room looked quite old due to the abundance of wooden furniture. Stayed for two nights, and on the second day, bath towels and water in the fridge weren't replenished in time

Ahmed at the pool bar and Ramadan the lifeguard were always on hand offering drinks and fresh hotel towels, and always a friendly greeting

The room was immaculate and cleaned and remade daily by Atallah, who couldn't do enough to help us. We tipped small amounts every day and came back to different towel sculptures and a restocked fridge without fail

The bar and pool staff are also very attentive, along with the waiting staff and chefs who provide an enormous variety of amazing food for breakfast, lunch, tea and "midnight snacks"

The hotel itself is beautiful and despite being at full capacity, did not seem overly busy - we didn't have any difficulty getting sunbeds on the beach or seats at mealtimes

Lunch is better than breakfast. I recommend visiting the bar on the B2 floor. I didn't try the pool - the sea is too gorgeous

Entering the water from the shore is not ideal - sand with stones, so many swim from the pier. Many people constantly come to this hotel, fans)) We will definitely return too!

So I did not read clearly when booking - all meals included, with beers / alcohol / snacks available basically at all time. The facilities (beaches and pools) were great as well

The biggest issue is with the beach – all sunbeds are taken very early in the morning, so you practically have to get up at 6 a. , sometimes even before sunrise, to secure a spot

A special shoutout to Carlos at the pool bar - you're the best! 🌞 Also for the staff from Lotus spa, Dr Fish and the guy who makes delicious fresh fruit juices on the beach

I really liked the hotel's spacious grounds, which include a beautiful garden, a flowing artificial river, and large swimming pools, one of which has warm water. The beautiful beach has two restaurants and cafes

The room is spacious, with separate sleeping and living areas, and a private balcony with a sun lounger. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower. The service is unobtrusive; I would even say well-trained

The three daily buffet meals are all white, and the food is quite good. The hotel has plenty of rooms, and the facilities are relatively new. I especially like the powder room in each room

The Steigenberger hotel chain offers access to restaurants from their line located nearby (Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean, etc. In the evening, there is live music in the huge lobby

The hotel is quite large, and the main street is decorated with a festive Christmas atmosphere. The all-inclusive meals are also good, with changes every day except for breakfast

But what made the experience extra special was the staff (receptionist “specially Aya”, Animation Team, Room Service Team, each and every one) – they were the absolute best part of the trip! So friendly, helpful, and always smiling

Lovely clean hotel, the waiters and lifeguards can’t do enough for you. The animation team are really pleasant and happy with plenty of activities to do. Food is lovely with plenty of choices.

The hotel is child friendly, lots for them to do; Nina who is in the kids club is so good with the children and my son especially loved making his own pizza! Very nice hotel within 5 minutes to major attractions via tuc tuc. We stayed for 1 week and there was not a single day that I was bored with breakfast. The lagoon is amazing.

The staff are amazing, from the reception, to the restaurants, around pool area, the room attendants and even the garden staff, nothing is too much trouble and they are always happy and smiling

The management and staff are very helpful and help make it a great experience. There is a beach area available which is a short shuttle bus ride but we preferred to stay around the pool

There is an assortment of evening entertainment in the Bogie bar, which is good but very loud and sometimes hinders conversation, so we prefer a quiet drink in the reception area providing we can find some chairs

The Golf course is excellent, very interesting and is in great condition. There is a huge variety of challenging holes including water hazards
