Sierra Hotel in Sharm el Sheikh

We checked in past 2 AM due to a flight delay, but the hotel staff thoughtfully offered us complimentary room service. Since it was the end of the year, I expected it to be too cold to swim, but during the day, even at 22 degrees Celsius, the sun was quite strong, and many people were swimming in both the pool and the sea. The shuttle bus to the hotel's beach, running every 20 minutes, was very convenient. The underwater world had a decent amount of fish and coral, which I enjoyed. Some corals were colorful, like purple and pink, and there were many large blue shells. I wanted to see more spectacular coral and fish, so I took an INDRIVE to Ras Um Sid's beach club. The hotel's food was varied, even including chocolate fondue, and the hot beverage selection was excellent.

SOHO Square is just a short walk from the hotel, offering everything from Abu Auf to pharmacies, souvenirs, and clothing. There are also hotel shuttle buses to Naama Bay and the Old Market. It's recommended to book these early as there's a limited capacity.

The hotel had many pools and cute cats, making it a very comfortable stay. My only complaint was that the shower water in my room was lukewarm. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We stayed in October at the Savoy Hotel. The grounds are large and well-maintained. There are plenty of pools and bars. Even though it's on the second line, getting to the beach is easy; you don't have to cross the road with other vehicles. You can take the hotel shuttle or walk through Soho Square. The food is excellent and varied. The variety of dishes on offer is even greater than at the Savoy, which we were able to compare. The beach is shared with the Savoy, and there were always plenty of sun loungers available at any time.

For us, this is the best hotel; we feel right at home here. The food, the service, the location—everything is perfect!

The vacation was wonderful. The hotel is located on the second line, but a bus takes you to the beach if you are too lazy to walk up and down the hill at a leisurely pace for about 10 minutes. If you do not want activities, there are places where it is not noisy. The food deserves special praise. The chef is great. Both fish and meat are cooked very tasty. It is a paradise for dieters, they will definitely be pleased with such a variety of simple products. There are enough sun loungers on the sea for everyone. You can also have a snack there at lunchtime so as not to return to the hotel. Overall, everything was great.

Very nice and cost-effective resort. We stayed from February 5 to February 8 this year. The room rate was 1,000 including tax for three people. We upgraded the room for free, including 3 meals. The hotel's buffet was pretty good, from morning to night. The hotel has indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, tourist shuttles, free buses to the hotel beach and the night market. Most of them are Maozi and Europeans. Asians are mainly Koreans and Japanese. I rarely see Chinese, at least when I went there.

The key is that you can dive for free on the hotel's own beach, and you don't have to rely on the diving group at all. The hotel's diving spots are not inferior to other places. You can bring your own diving mask or buy it on the street behind. You can buy your own set for ten dollars, and you don't have to rent someone else's bitten 😅. You can also lie on the beach and bask in the sun, or stay in the hotel without being bored, there are many activities. There are many foreigners coming here, but few Chinese. If you don't know foreign languages, you can use the translation software on your mobile phone, which can solve most problems. Take a taxi in Sharm el-Sheikh and use INdrive. Others are not easy to use. Cash payment can be made in Egyptian pounds and US dollars. Personally, I feel that the same quality is cheaper here than domestic seaside vacations.
