Nord Hostel in Tallinn

We checked into the room on November 28th and the first thing we did was inspect the bed. We noticed that the mattress was particularly dirty. In addition to that, we found evidence of bedbugs — small black spots and bedbug eggs. We did not stay in the hotel after this and moved to another one.

Terrible service, the staff is awful, they talk to you as if you were just a buddy and not a guest. We arrived at Telliskivi 24, but there was no hotel there. We ended up standing around for a long time until we asked for help from a restaurant on the same street. Thanks to the restaurant staff who helped us solve this problem.

I do not recommend this hostel, the attitude towards guests is just horrible.

very bad hostel, will never go there again and will not recommend to anyone, they rush into the room without knocking and without saying anything and start accusing us that we did not pay for the hotel so they kicked us out in the middle of the night and my phone was suddenly lost and a few days later the location shows it in the same hotel, we went to the hotel and asked about the phone they said yes there that's why they took the phone for themselves without saying a word and secretly took the cash from there and in addition they took pictures of us at that moment they still could not find proof so quickly that the hotel was paid and when I found it and called back the call was immediately hung up and the money was not returned

I booked and paid for 6 days, but after checking in, I was given a room that was not cleaned. I booked a double bed and a single bed, but the hotel only gave me two single beds. The staff said that a new room would be provided to me in 10-15 minutes, but I waited for about 20 minutes and there was no progress. There was no one at the front desk, no response to my messages, and no other staff in the hotel. I had to leave on mid night and requested a full refund, but the hotel insisted that I waited too short and said it was my own problem and refused to refund.

The hotel said that I paid the money to booking and the hotel could not refund it, but I think it was because the hotel rejected my application on booking.

Don't believe what the hotel says or the pictures. They are doing a major renovation but never mentioned it. Customer service only speaks Russian. They are trying to scam you out of your money.

Cutlery in the kitchen is not at all like cups. In the room with 1 roommate was a stench, although the room was not hot, rather cold.

It really stinks in the rooms, especially in the bathrooms, the old town is a very far walk and the workers are pretty racist, if you are in Estonia, DON'T EVEN THINK COMING HERE.

This hostel was a big disappointment. Room was dirty and stuffy, bathroom had a permanent wet and mouldy smell to it. Weird stains throughout. Bit far of a walk to the old town, in an area with not much character. However it is a cheap taxi ride to the centre but you might as well stay in the centre somewhere with a bit of atmosphere. Staff couldn't speak English (not expecting everyone foreign to be able to speak English, but basic hostel vocabulary I think is necessary for a hostel with many international guests). Checkout was at 12, had a knock on our door at 11.45 just as we were almost ready to leave with the staff member simply saying 'checkout.' to us. When we went downstairs and handed the key (few minutes before 12) the staff member just hmphed and that was that. Felt quite unwelcome, will not stay here again. Top 5 worst hostels I've stayed in.

Horrible place. The whole hostel is in renovation. Everywhere smells really bad. Everything is dirty. There are wholes, there aren't ceiling, the lamps doesn't work. You can't open the vindows. Everything is broken. There are strange people. The bad and toilets smell really bad. It's really disgusting. I have never seen that disgusting. I wouldn't recommend it.
