We had a situation reaching the resort and host was very helpful to get us out of trouble on a crazy snowy day. The stay and breakfast was good!

Lovely setting. Too much outside light pollution to see Northern lights properly. Food in restaurant is very basic

The concept of the aurora cabins with a wide view of the Northern sky is promising. However there are a few minors to mention. The cabins are advertised as having a private sauna. Turns out that this is a common sauna for all the cabins and hotel. Furthermore it is separated in a men's and woman sauna, nice when you are here as a couple....
Secondly the cabins are located at low grounds, the times we did see the Northern light it was lower at the horizon, it would not have been visible from the cabins. If you can find cabins at higher grounds I would take those.
Third, some of the cabins were located near high trees, blocking the view even more.
The cabins were fine however with a small shower with limited water. The view of the clear sky must be impressive when it is clear.
Please consider the amount of clear nights vs the cloudy nights for your time of travel and calculate whether the price is worth the gamble.

Good buffet...air conditioner not ajustable ( pre set) at aurora suits. Bad cleaning service...and no room service in 5 days. Same towels and sheets..... bathroom with no space to cleaning stuff....

Great aurora huts. Windows are heated what helps a lot during the winter ;) Sleeping under stars is magical. Comfortable beds.Prices comfortable in comparison to other places with aurora iglos. WiFi available in the rooms and huts. Restaurant is located in close proximity. Salmon soup is great. One minus was breakfast. Great hearing but scramble eggs seemed to be done from powder. Internal roads well maintained. Direct bus to Pyha is free of charge. Washing machine and dryer available in camping site.

Aurora Huts and nice holiday homes in Pyhä area. Great for nature enthusiasts!
