Lovely little hotel in a quiet part of town yet only a short walk to the main attractions. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, vibrant and cool which carries through the whole of the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and room was a boutique style with a cool French vibe overlooking a small square and museum with lovely shuttered French apartments and balconies. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return x

Gabriel Hôtel is amazing! The design and style… so well done and makes it super nice and cozy. We had the biggest room on the 5th floor, with a nice balcony. The location is great - a 15 minute walk from the train station, but right in the middle of Menton, close to the main area for restaurants and shops and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Breakfast was lovely! And finally… The staff! They were all so nice and welcoming, and helped us with whatever we asked for.

Our stay at the hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and made the check in process really smooth. The hotel is recently renovated and the interior is fun and had a lovely smell in the lobby. The room itself was small but well decorated and the balcony had comfy chairs with a table and a nice view. It was really easy to walk around menton from this location and you did not have to go far for a selection of restaurants. We also used the hotel bar which had a good selection of wines and beers at a reasonable price. We would definitely recommend staying here and would come back when returning to Menton.

The Hotel Gabriel was a fantastic place to stay in Menton. The location was great, a short walk to nearly everything we wanted to do in town — which was particularly important since Ubers aren’t as plentiful in Menton as in bigger cities like Nice. The room was very comfortable and charming and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Menton was a wonderful city to visit, and the Gabriel is the best place to stay to take advantage of what it has to offer. We would absolutely recommend it with no hesitation.

This was our first time visiting Menton. After a ton of research and not knowing what to expect, I am so very glad that we chose Hotel Gabriel. The hotel is perfectly located and super convenient to the beach, shopping, and dining. The staff are also all incredibly welcoming and helpful. We truly appreciated the time and care Julia and Sandra extended to us during our stay as well as the breakfast staff. We also enjoyed meeting the property owner who is almost always present ensuring a seamless operation. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. I am extremely picky about bedsheets and I truly enjoyed the quality of the linens. The body wash and soap that is provided was exceptional. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast complete with prosecco and fresh juices every day. We loved our stay in Menton and will definitely stay at Hotel Gabriel when we return! Thank you for the amazing stay!!!

This was my first experience traveling to Europe and Hotel Gabriel exceeded my expectations! The staff was absolutely fantastic and made us feel like we were old friends reconnecting with each encounter. The breakfast was a true experience with all the things you would want in a French breakfast. Everything I ate from the yogurt with a variety of mix ins (oats, fruit, nuts) to the sweets, cheeses, breads, croissants, fresh fruit, berries and tomatoes were bursting with flavor. It was the perfect way to begin the day along the French Riviera. We walked everywhere and the beauty of Menton was everywhere. After a day of walking and enjoying Menton, we were greeted with kindness as we entered the quaint lobby. Your room is extremely clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the soap…we must find this brand to bring home! Sandra and Julia were absolute dolls, filled our water bottles and genuinely enjoyed assisting us with our questions. If you plan to visit Menton (which you MUST) be sure to stay at Hotel Gabriel. It was such a relaxing time!
