Cheap and cheerful. Incredible location. Stunning view of the Alls from my window. A few minutes to the beach and to the train station if you’d like to go to Monaco, Italy, other parts of France. Bed was comfortable. Saw staff only briefly at check in and never again. Not overly friendly. Clean but not the most updated. Could use a refresh. Location is the premier feature.

I stayed 3 nights with my family. Nice property with basics. Clean room and bathroom. Easy access to public transport. Very near to Menton’s train station, hence, can be bit noisy in night time. Staff is really helpful and accommodating. I liked the idea of express breakfast option for €3 ( a drink and a croissant) if you are in rush.

We liked the hotel. It is a bit away from the city center, but you can walk there in 15 minutes. There is a small and clean beach nearby. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy. The hotel rooms are really nice and we’ve been upgraded for free. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. However when we went up to the rooftop bar we were met with some of the worst and most watery cocktails our tongues have ever touched. We stayed in Menton for three days. We were initially assigned a room on the first floor, right above the entrance. It was awful. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade to a room on the fifth floor with a balcony. The service was excellent, especially Ewelina, who ensured our comfort and created a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel's location is very good and convenient to everything, but the hotel facilities are old and simple. In addition, the bathroom design is not reasonable and it is easy to get water all over the floor.

Very new, clean and tidy, very nice, right by the sea. The breakfast is also very good. It doesn't look like much, but it has everything you need. There are two kinds of hot dishes, which basically meet your needs.

Hotel is lovely BUT! Location is wonderful, rooms are comfortable, parking is easy but make sure your room is above floor 1 as our room was opposite the restaurant. Noisy guests both for breakfast and evening meal spoilt it - kept us awake and woke us up.

Clean, well kept property which is reasonably well located. The rooms are basic and lack facilities such as tea and coffee making facilties but if its just a base you want for exploring the French Riveria then its a perfect choice.

This is one of the best modern hotels we've stayed in. Interesting decor, helpful staff and good soundproofing. The rooms are a generous size: worth getting one with a sea view and a balcony. The location is good for a stroll into the centre of Menton and there are several local restaurants and cafes near the Marina.

The hotel was comfortable in a really beautiful location, near a station, on the sea front, a short walk from town and near the park. It had a pool and bar, staff were friendly and helpful and the Napoleon served a good French breakfast. I would choose this hotel again.

We have never experienced such pleasant service. Every person at the desk is super nice. Have no complaints about any noise. Simple beverage and coffee available 24/7. Our stay at the hotel was great. The staff were all very friendly and made the check in process really smooth. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station, this hotel in Menton was perfect for us! Right across the street from the water, we loved walking along the promenade daily. I have stayed at this property three or four times, as I come to Menton often for work. I find this hotel to be the coziest of the places that I have stayed. The breakfast is really nice and comprehensive and the location cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

Had a nice view, the room was old but clean… it was October this time of year they can not have the air on … so the room was too warm and had to have the front desk bring a fan to make it comfortable to sleep at night. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall it was ok just dated and the grounds and planters need to be cleaned up.

A little affordable beautiful hotel in the vicinity of posh Monaco

Wifi is very weak, didn't work in our room and even at times it didn't work in the lobby. They are aware. We got the feeling the staff were tired after a busy summer. Cleaning staff missed towels, cups in the room.

The single beds were really small, much smaller than other single beds we had in other hotels. We were put in a room with a sea view that was partially blocked by palm trees. The toilets did not flush properly and the AC didnt work. They dont even give you complimentary water bottles. For the price you pay, this was poor quality. We stayed in other hotels in this trip for way cheaper and got much better...

The location is great, with a bus stop right outside. It's also not too far from various attractions. There's an elevator, so you don't need to worry about having large luggage.

Situated in Menton City Centre which is a good location. Staff are nice.

Although the hotel is old, it has the basic facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the location is excellent, close to the beach, within walking distance. Restaurants are easy to find and there are many options nearby. The only drawback is that there are relatively few parking spaces, and the street outside the hotel is quite busy, so there is no convenient place to load and unload luggage.

Beautiful hotel in Menton. Close to the beach, the train station and main shopping area. The hotel owner was very nice, welcoming and helpful. We chose this hotel because it’s close to the station which allowed us to visit Monaco and go to the Monte Carlo tennis open. It’s minutes walk to the sea and very close to cheap little restaurants. The hotel is clean and has good Wi-Fi and good breakfast. Sandrine and Bruno are incredibly helpful and accommodating. We will come back!!

Very friendly and helpful staff who were very knowledgeable of the region, gave advice on the places to visit and how to travel. All staff were bilingual so communication was easy. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, eateries, the beaches and transport links around the Coast, ie Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cannes and the Antibes. Happy with our choice of hotel and the region as a whole.

Large room. Shower wasn't great (just a hose on the wall with no mount for an overhead shower). Seems a bit outdated and the lobby smelled like someone smokes two packs a day in it. But the area was good; a bit out of the centre which I appreciated for ease of parking and quietness.

The location is near the sea, so it was easy to get around. If you take a car, you must reserve parking in advance. You can get a password at the check-in counter and enter the parking lot. It was clean and fairly spacious. However, the smell of cigarettes in the lobby was too strong.
