Very friendly reception staff in the morning. Condition of the hotel is tired. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Outside of the hotel looks nice.

Hotel is lovely BUT! Location is wonderful, rooms are comfortable, parking is easy but make sure your room is above floor 1 as our room was opposite the restaurant. Noisy guests both for breakfast and evening meal spoilt it - kept us awake and woke us up.

Clean, well kept property which is reasonably well located. The rooms are basic and lack facilities such as tea and coffee making facilties but if its just a base you want for exploring the French Riveria then its a perfect choice.

It was all in all a good experience. Menton is a small but cute town with nice historical areas with beautiful view. Had many dining options nearby the hotel as well. We enjoyed the karaoke night.

The hotel rooms are really nice and we’ve been upgraded for free. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. We stayed in Menton for three days. We were initially assigned a room on the first floor, right above the entrance. It was awful. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade to a room on the fifth floor with a balcony. The service was excellent, especially Ewelina, who ensured our comfort and created a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel's location is very good and convenient to everything, but the hotel facilities are old and simple. In addition, the bathroom design is not reasonable and it is easy to get water all over the floor.

Pet friendly, patio, lots of things within walking distance, easy to get around. Friendly neighborhood. Bring toiletries, as the rooms aren't cleaned every day, but cleaning supply are provided (vacuum).

Very new, clean and tidy, very nice, right by the sea. The breakfast is also very good. It doesn't look like much, but it has everything you need. There are two kinds of hot dishes, which basically meet your needs.

This is one of the best modern hotels we've stayed in. Interesting decor, helpful staff and good soundproofing. The rooms are a generous size: worth getting one with a sea view and a balcony. The location is good for a stroll into the centre of Menton and there are several local restaurants and cafes near the Marina.

Friendly well situated hotel - close to restaurants- not so close to shops. Room was comfortable - bed a little hard for me. Very clean on arrival and that was maintained throughout our stay!

The hotel was comfortable in a really beautiful location, near a station, on the sea front, a short walk from town and near the park. It had a pool and bar, staff were friendly and helpful and the Napoleon served a good French breakfast. I would choose this hotel again.

We have never experienced such pleasant service. Every person at the desk is super nice. Have no complaints about any noise. Simple beverage and coffee available 24/7. We stayed for 4days and it was a great time and experience. The Management and staff are very friendly and attentive to details. They were speaking English very well with a smile to understand your needs. It’s just that it was quite noisy due to nearby roads. Nevertheless it was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff who were very knowledgeable of the region, gave advice on the places to visit and how to travel. All staff were bilingual so communication was easy. The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, eateries, the beaches and transport links around the Coast, ie Villefranche-sur-Mer, Cannes and the Antibes. Happy with our choice of hotel and the region as a whole.

Large room. Shower wasn't great (just a hose on the wall with no mount for an overhead shower). Seems a bit outdated and the lobby smelled like someone smokes two packs a day in it. But the area was good; a bit out of the centre which I appreciated for ease of parking and quietness.

The location is near the sea, so it was easy to get around. If you take a car, you must reserve parking in advance. You can get a password at the check-in counter and enter the parking lot. It was clean and fairly spacious. However, the smell of cigarettes in the lobby was too strong.

We liked the hotel. It is a bit away from the city center, but you can walk there in 15 minutes. There is a small and clean beach nearby. The rooms are small, but clean and cozy. The hotel has free tea and coffee 24 hours a day, as well as small desserts. Gorgeous sea view. Excellent breakfast. Excellent gym. The only thing we didn't like was the staff's behavior. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station, this hotel in Menton was perfect for us! Right across the street from the water, we loved walking along the promenade daily. About a 20 minute walk from the ‘busy’ town centre and restaurants, which we enjoyed being close but not too close! Smaller rooms, but we really only slept in them! Good breakfast, staff was lovely!

I have stayed at this property three or four times, as I come to Menton often for work. I find this hotel to be the coziest of the places that I have stayed. The breakfast is really nice and comprehensive and the location cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

Reception was supposed to open at 1600 but no one was there and several of us were waiting around for a little while. Checking was straightforward as I’d done it online. Our room was next to the elevator but we heard nothing. Double bed room was very tight in size, the balcony was bigger! Bathroom was very workable. Very clean. The bed was very comfortable. A fairly typical Ibis room.

Had a fabulous stay here all the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help! The room was fantastic for the price and was cleaned everyday to a high standard. Breakfast choice was exceptional for a budget hotel. Big thank you to Miky for all the advice on the best places to visit around Menton made our holiday even better than we expected! We traveled from Australia and wanted to visit Monaco, but did not want to pay the steep prices, and as a result found this gem!! So glad I did!! The train from Nice airport was easy, then an easy walk from Menton Garavan was no trouble even with luggage. Yes it’s a budget hotel so expectations should be moderate. It’s in a good location. Nice views. Having said that, the hotel has a need for better service minded staff, better cleaning and taking care of the facilities. The breakfast was below average and the garage terrible- extremely tight. Had a nice view, the room was old but clean… it was October this time of year they can not have the air on … so the room was too warm and had to have the front desk bring a fan to make it comfortable to sleep at night. Wifi is very weak, didn't work in our room and even at times it didn't work in the lobby. They are aware. We got the feeling the staff were tired after a busy summer. Cleaning staff missed towels, cups in the room.

The single beds were really small, much smaller than other single beds we had in other hotels. We were put in a room with a sea view that was partially blocked by palm trees. The toilets did not flush properly and the AC didnt work. They dont even give you complimentary water bottles. For the price you pay, this was poor quality. We stayed in other hotels in this trip for way cheaper and got much better...

Spacious, clean and tidy room, our "partial" sea view balcony was much less partial than we expected! The hotel is on a busy main road but we found the balcony doors to be well sound-proofed once closed. Lots of little touches which made this stay seem a little more decadent, like the robe and slippers. Lovely sun terrace and solarium which sadly we didn't have the opportunity to use on our 2 night...

Great location right by the beach. Not quite a 4 star quality hotel. So many bugs in the room (cigarette beetles - not bed bugs), ran out of beach towels, staff not always at front desk. Special shout out to Le P'tit Resto - incredible restaurant just across the street. Overall, would stay here again but has a few flaws.

The location of the hotel was great. A lovely walk along the promenade to restuarants for dinner. Parking was on the street, but easy, could be more difficult in busy times.

I liked it modern and clean inside. But I think price should be lower because it’s still just a 3-4 stars hotel.

The location is great, with a bus stop right outside. It's also not too far from various attractions. There's an elevator, so you don't need to worry about having large luggage.

Situated in Menton City Centre which is a good location. Staff are nice.

Although the hotel is old, it has the basic facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the location is excellent, close to the beach, within walking distance. Restaurants are easy to find and there are many options nearby. The only drawback is that there are relatively few parking spaces, and the street outside the hotel is quite busy, so there is no convenient place to load and unload luggage.

Lovely little hotel in a quiet part of town yet only a short walk to the main attractions. Staff were really friendly and knowledgeable, vibrant and cool which carries through the whole of the hotel. Friendly small hotel with wonderful staff in lovely Menton

The service at the hotel was absolutely outstanding. We were on a motorcycle trip and had miscalculated the journey, which caused us to fall badly behind schedule. Fortunately, the hotel staff welcomed us warmly and even arranged safe storage for our motorcycles. The level of service was truly incredible.

OK value for money in August in Menton, clean and bed is comfortable. Otherwise Wifi is not working well and room is nothing special, small and rather old. A/C is working.

A discreet hotel in the upper part of Menton, rooms are clean but a bit aged. The park was full and I had to find a parking space finally found it at 1 km distance from the hotel. Breakfast is fair and not too generous but there’s basically everything.
