Great location near train station easy to walk to other places in the city. Only 10 minutes walk to the train station.

We stayed in Menton for three days. We were initially assigned a room on the first floor, right above the entrance. It was awful. Fortunately, we were able to upgrade to a room on the fifth floor with a balcony. The service was excellent, especially Ewelina, who ensured our comfort and created a pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel's location is very good and convenient to everything, but the hotel facilities are old and simple. In addition, the bathroom design is not reasonable and it is easy to get water all over the floor.

Overall we liked it, but not atop of my list. Let's start from the positives: great customer service in any possible sense. Roberto and Co. did everything possible to move us to another room because the one I booked was not what I was imagining. I booked a family room on Booking, that come without balcony, and honestly, was a little depressing. Hence, Roberto found us another room as soon as possible with a balcony. It was much better! The next awesome thing, the rooftop... Just absolutely amazing, the view is mostly 360 degrees, mind blowing. Let's pass to the not so great parts of the stay. First, the breakfast is what it is. Cafe is not Italian, good luck with the espresso. The orange juice that you squeeze yourself is just absolutely amazing, anything else is mediocre. The croissant is not what you expect from France... The bread is good tho, but probably eated up there from frozen dough. The cheese is good but limited choice, and whom cuts it have no idea on how to do it. Next... The state of the room. Bathrooms are recently renovated quite nicely, but I have to observe that the second shower was leaking when closed. The matresses are new but everything else in the room require renovation. Forniture is heavily scratch and dented, bed platforms are in so so state. Curtains have openings everywhere, windows require fixtures everywhere. The carpet on the floor is horrible, although the second was recently renovated.
