Hôtel Les Grangettes in Meribel

The hotel is in a brilliant location and provides everything a ski holiday requires.

Location was perfect; the closest spot to Meribel lifts. Jacks restaurant attached/next door. Request a room on the opposite side if you're early to bed because of the noise. Rooms were clean; they definitely could use more electrical outlets. They did have a power ***** though. Service was excellent; staff very attentive. Buzzer at the desk because staff is usually pulling double duty elsewhere. Halfboard dinner was fabulous. Not exaggerating.

Just finished a great week skiing here in Meribel. Our choice of hotel could not have been better... The location is unbeatable (across the road from the Chaudanne lifts). The food was excellent (much better than anticipated). We thoroughly enjoyed every meal. The service from the girls working reception and the dinning room was brilliant, and Hannah deserves a special mention here, her easy charm and friendly outlook make her a real asset to this place. Thank you to everyone at les grangettes for a brilliant stay....

Returned from a weeks stay over half term with two children. Absolutely brilliant hotel with such a great atmosphere. The hotel has everything we needed and more, lounge with games, bar with pool table, great heated boot room and the rooms are well equipped with drawers and shelves. The staff are all excellent; so helpful, warm and friendly. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotel has some of the best food we’ve ever eaten and a fabulous choice every day. We would definitely return, we’re so delighted with our stay.

Had a brilliant stay at Les grengettes. Room lovely and clean, all the staff were all fantastic and friendly, and the dinner each evening was brilliant, everything that came out tasted beautiful! Thank you so much hopefully see you all again soon.

We have just returned from a 6 night stay and genuinely couldn't have asked for more. We have stayed in catered chalets in the 3 valleys for over 20 years and this is only the second time we have gone off piste (excuse the pun!) and stayed at a hotel….we are converts! Excellent communication from the start when booking direct with Claire, the staff were all brilliant, comfortable, clean room, amazing view of the slopes, great food even catering for an acute allergy, huge boot room with dryers and lockers and the location was fantastic - you genuinely cannot stay anywhere nearer the lifts in Meribel (no more traipsing through town in boots carrying skis - bliss!). Our room was above Jacks so it was a little noisy a couple of nights (we were aware of this though) so I would recommend packing earplugs if you are a light sleeper or just stay at Jacks until last orders! Would we return? Absolutely :) A big thank you to everyone.

Don’t be put off by the mere 3 star rating, it should be higher for the food alone. I feel really sorry for the this hotel, anywhere else and this would be so more highly rated but when you’re surrounded by extremely high end locations, they’ve got a lot to compete against but oh my do they punch above their weight. I’m a solo traveller so always got hit by the solo supplements but I managed to score a single room in this lovely hotel. It has everything I wanted from a stay and far more as well. I’d love to single out a particular member of staff but that wouldn’t be fair to the others as all of them were amazing and welcoming and as for the food ? Incredible, I’ve never had better and most nights I felt robbed I could only choose one of the meals as they all looked so delicious. Add in the fantastic location, less than 60 seconds walk to the snow front, ski lockers with boot dryers , its own bar with pool table, upstairs social lounge with games and books, sun terrace on top floor, discounts at Jacks bar next door with its own entrance from hotel, leisure centre with spa on your doorstep, cosy, warm rooms that you can control the temperature of with pipping hot water all day long and I don’t know why you’d ever want to go anywhere else. Thank you some much for an amazing stay !

This is a fabulous gem of a hotel in Meribel, you literally cannot get any closer to the slopes. It’s proximity to the slopes and boot room mean you can easily pop back at lunch time to your room. It may not be as fancy as some of the expensive chalet style hotels, but the rooms are just as big if not bigger.. plenty of room for all your luggage, gear and plenty of space to spare. In my opinion much better value than elsewhere in the resort. Fantastic shower pressure, even a bath and lovely fluffy towels, and the balcony in our room overlooking the pistes and mountains. The beds were comfy and towels changed regularly. The staff were all awesome, friendly and super helpful and check in was super quick and easy. This included direct hotel staff and the staff at Jacks. I was really impressed with the food, half board had three great choices on each course with desserts to die for. Due to some dietary restrictions I mostly went for the vegetarian option and the chef really knows his food and how to cook - the roasted cauliflower was the best I’ve ever had; equally my carnivorous husband was very satisfied! The half board in winter represented great value considering the cost of eating out in Meribel. Jacks is great for après ski with some fabulous live music. Although I didn’t eat there I had serious food envy watching dishes being served at lunch time, it really looked top notch. Thank you Les Grangettes for a brilliant stay, we will definitely be back in 2027.

Stayed at Hotel Grangettes for a weeks snowboarding in the three valleys. The hotel location is excellent, literally a few minutes walk to the main gondolas that connect Meribel with Courcheval and Les Menuires. I shared a twin room with my teenage daughter, room was a good size, a little dated but clean and comfortable. Plenty of storage space and i like the fact that the bathroom was separate to the shower. The hotel also has a boot and equipment room with heated boot warmers. Some reviews say that the bar below is noisy but our room was at the rear of the hotel so we couldn't hear any loud music. Food was some of the best that i've had in a hotel. Great choice for breakfast in the morning and always fresh and dinner was a 3 course meal with options for each course. We was going to eat out a few nights at some local eateries but decide to stay in the hotel and eat as the food was so good. Staff were excellent and really friendly. We'll definitely be booking again for next year!

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. We were very well looked after and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel definitely punches above its weight and the 2-star rating really doesn’t do it justice. We stayed in a triple room which had a double and a single bed. The room was a good size with plenty of space. The bathroom was a shower/wet room and was also a good size. Everything throughout the hotel was very clean. The room had an amazing view and a balcony, which was a real bonus. The hotel is located above Jack’s Bar, so the après-ski is noticeable, but it really didn’t bother us and certainly didn’t affect our sleep. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Méribel and just a very short walk to the ski lifts. The hotel has ski lockers, which made things very convenient. Breakfast was very good as well, with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, we had a really good experience. We’d happily stay here again and would 100% recommend it.
