The whole experience starts badly when we checked in and didn't get what we had ordered and expected. Both breakfast and dinner were not according to expectations. There were only a very few of the staff who really wanted to give us good service, the others did their job, but no more. The hotel is nice and the atmosphere and location are good - it is easy and convenient to get in and out whether it is on skis, or on foot. A tip to improve.. Keep your promises, so that expectations are in line with what is delivered

A fabulous hotel! The staff are wonderful and it is I. The best position right on the piste. There were only two drawbacks- the evening meal which wasn’t good at all and the unsupervised children - the latter of which is not the hotel’s fault . The breakfast however was consistently good and the rooms had superb views of the piste - and a great view of esf instructors doing their warm up dance each morning. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat but would do b&b next time. The spa was lovely , really good massages and a view of the piste from the sauna, and the ski shop onsite was great.

Spent a great week at the hotel. It is in a great ski in/out location, the staff were great, the food was very good and generally catered for my gluten free diet very well. I would be happy to stay there again.

Stayed here recently with 5 friends and had a fantastic experience in this hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the slopes and ski in and out could not be simpler. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The food was superb, great choice and quality at both breakfast and dinner. The bar was excellent as well, really great vibe and lively without being raucous. Service was also very friendly. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back or recommend.

We stayed over the New Year's week as a family of four. Our room had a beautiful view and was very cosy, but it was a bit too small. Especially storing all the baggages was a challenge.
The staff was super friendly and professiona despite the stress of the busy New Year's Eve week.
The location is unmatched. Not only ski-in / ski out, but directly in front of ESF ski school meeting point.
Very nice bar with a kids playroom next to it.

They placed me in a disabled-style room even though I am not disabled. The room and bathroom have no doors at all. The shower, toilet, and sleeping area are all one open space. There is zero privacy and no way to separate the bathroom from the room. I booked this hotel 6–7 months ago and paid the full amount in advance. I expected a normal room. When I complained, the manager told me my only options were: • This disabled room • Or another room so small that you walk in and immediately jump onto the bed, with no space to open luggage or move around I asked for a refund so I could leave and find another hotel. They refused. The manager and staff were rude and dismissive. They said there are three disabled rooms in the hotel and that I was “lucky” to get one. I am now forced to stay here for one week in a room that makes me uncomfortable and stressed from day one. The service is terrible, the attitude is disrespectful, and the solution offered is unacceptable. I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Marielle in Val Thorens. The staff were outstanding from start to finish, friendly, attentive, and always happy to help, which really made the holiday special. The food was excellent, with a great variety and consistently high quality. Every meal felt well thought out and a real highlight after a day on the slopes. The service throughout the hotel was spot on, professional yet relaxed, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The location is unbeatable – true ski-in, ski-out, making it incredibly easy to head straight onto the slopes and back again. You really can’t ask for a better base in Val Thorens. Overall, a brilliant hotel with a great atmosphere. We’d happily return and would highly recommend Hotel Marielle to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-class service in the Alps. ⛷️❄️

Having just returned from Val Thornes, I would definitely recommend staying at Hotel Marielle everything was amazing from staff, rooms, food, and location especially the ski in-ski out. Having stayed somewhere else last year this hotel was definitely better and will definitely be retuning next year. The Ski shop on site was very convenient as we hired equipment throughout the week and also received discount being hotel guest.
