Hotel Diana Dauphine in Strasbourg

From the moment of arrival, we received a warm and professional welcome at reception, with a smooth and efficient check-in process. The staff truly are an asset to the hotel; throughout our stay, from check-in to check-out, they were consistently attentive, friendly, and eager to assist. Special recognition is due to the manager, whose welcoming manner contributed greatly to making our stay a genuine pleasure.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was notably large and extremely comfortable, while the room itself offered all the necessary facilities for a short stay. The surrounding hotel areas were equally impressive, with a refined and inviting atmosphere throughout. Overall, the experience was excellent, and we would highly recommend Hôtel Diana Dauphine.

Overall, we had a good experience that is why I am giving this hotel 4 stars.
The location is excellent, right in the city center. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was high quality and the staff was polite and helpful.

However, considering the price, we expected a few things that were missing. The bathroom has no ventilation, there are no power outlets next to the bed and the TV is not a smart TV.

Access to the parking garage requires extra caution. To enter, you need to cross the opposite traffic lane, the tram tracks, the sidewalk and at the same time show your hotel card to the reception so they can open the gate!! The parking space itself is very narrow, but with your co-driver assistance there is no real risk of damaging the car.

That said, all of this is explained in advance by the hotel and there is also the option to use another nearby parking facility.

We recently stayed at this hotel to visit the Christmas markets.

The location is very good. You can easily access the city and all it's markets.

The hotel is clean and we'll maintained. Modern and elegant. We really liked it.

The service was good and while parking is narrow, we did not have any issue with that and parked quite easily. But take that in consideration.

The breakfast was very nice and sufficient.
I think slightly more variety would be appreciated. Few more eggs option etc.
Above all, you should add more vegetables! There were absolutely no vegetables except few slices of cucumber.

The toilets in the room are extremely narrow. I could barely fit in! This is a really issue. You should change it or inform guests in advance.

In sum, great boutique hotel. Recommend.

We recently stayed at this hotel to visit the Christmas markets.

✅The location is great - just a 5 minute walk to the Christmas markets and the Cathedral.
✅Being located just off of the island, you can get a taxi to the hotel (no cars are allowed on the island during the day) and the room was quiet in the evenings. It was also close to the pick up point for our day trip to Colmar and other markets (the coach station)
✅The staff were all friendly and attentive.
✅ The room itself was nice (although it could do with more plugs)

My constructive criticism would be:
💎 Have more toasters - only 2 pieces of bread can be toasted at a time, and it is slow (we ended up taking it out before it was ready as other people were waiting)
💎 Make it clear if you can drink the tap water - as the water in the fridge is not included

💫 There is a great and very reasonably priced pub called Molly Malone nearby which makes up for the lack of a bar in the hotel

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, though facing the main street made it a bit noisy due to frequent tram traffic. The location is excellent—just a short walk from Strasbourg’s historic center and within reasonable reach of the European Institutions. The staff were outstanding across the board: reception, breakfast, and housekeeping were all exceptionally attentive. The garage can be tricky for larger vehicles, and the breakfast room can feel a little crowded when the hotel’s busy.

We had a lovely 8 nights at the Diana Dauphine Hotel. A very warm welcome when we arrived and the breakfast team did a great job presenting and constantly keeping the extensive buffet well stocked. The rooms are spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the beautiful city of Strasbourg and all it has to offer. Plenty to see and do here, with the opportunity of trips put to other beautiful towns. We would definitely return.

Everything was good and clean. Only one small issue was that the wifi connection did not work in our room.

The bus was delayed due to the transfer and we could not find an available hotel when we arrived in the city. We could not stay at the hotel because there was no availability, but the person in charge offered us hot coffee and did us a great favor. I send my love. 🙏🙏
