The personals were very helpful and friendly. It’s really close to the old town.. just 10 minutes away !!
The room is small, with very basic facilities. The cleanliness of the room can be much improved. The continental breakfast offers a good selection of items. The location is convenient for exploring the city centre.
Breakfast was yummy. Room was a bit small, especially the bathroom. But cant complain about the value!
A very enjoyable trip to Ibis Strasbourg Centre Historique. Strasbourg is stunning but especially at Christmas time!
Great location between the train station and the Christmas market (main town). The morning-shift staff made me feel a little uncomfortable, they didn’t allow me to bring my small luggage into the breakfast room which I understood, but afterward two men (different time/room) were allowed to bring their checked luggage and sat right next to me that made me wonder why.. But despite that, the stay was...
The hotel is as simple and usable like a Japanese capsule.
The hotel staff was friendly. Having breakfast comforted us.
The best point of this hotel is , it can walk all over this city.

there is no service or making up of rooms daily for this apartment hotel. the trash will not be cleared daily.
it is a walking distance from the strasbourg station. there are also no shampoo provided but an all in one body wash and hand soap.
the room is well furnished with kitchen necessity and enabled us to microwave or boil/cook water during our stay.
If I'd paid a reasonable price, it would have been a decent residence hotel, but I paid way too much for it, so I'm not entirely satisfied. The whole city of Strasbourg seems to be very cunningly exploiting the Christmas special. I'll never stay in Strasbourg again. It seemed like a place that would have been fine for around €100...
It was freezing in the room, and I complained to reception. The response was that the government didn't allow them to set the temperature above 21 degrees Celsius... when it was 3 degrees outside and freezing cold throughout the hotel, except for the reception area, which, oddly enough, was pleasantly warm. I asked for an extra blanket, which they never provided. The service from the receptionist that...
We had a pleasant stay here. The staff at reception were helpful with information. Location is walking distance from train station and to the cathedral.
The hotel was close to downtown and Strasbourg Station, making it easy to get around on foot. There was a supermarket right in front, making grocery shopping convenient. However, the hotel facilities were a bit dated, and the bathroom sink seemed to have been remodeled.
About a 15-20 minute walk to the city center, clean, spacious rooms, working air conditioning, great shower, microwave/kitchenette not used but available, functional rooms without soul.
Elevator doesn't work, parking apparently no longer available, street parking is possible, but for a maximum of 3 hours for €35, very noisy in the lobby and breakfast room.

Looks like it's on a main road, but it's actually right in the city center. The environment is really good, and the parking lot is right next to the hotel. The service attitude is excellent, I felt very comfortable. Thumbs up to the staff!
A very pleasant stay in Strasbourg. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with respectful and helpful staff. Its location is excellent—just minutes away from the main attractions. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety and quality. Highly recommended.
I like it, good location, clean
it was perfect, close to the city centre
Location is good closed to city center and bus station.
Staffs were friendly especially Ibrahim explained around Strasbourg very kindly. Thank you so much!

Don't listen to the bad reviews, the place has evidently had a big renovation done. The rooms are super clean with modern glass showers. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking around the city centre and right across the road from the train station. Yes there's no mini bar, but if you're looking for a clean room with enough space for two suitcases...
Great location. Cleanliness was excellen. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good
It was clean. The location is the best. You can arrive at midnight and still go to this hotel by walk
We recently stayed at Le Grand Hotel for a few nights, and while the hotel is a great base for exploring, particularly if you're visiting the famous Christmas markets (the location is fantastic!), there are a few things to note about the rooms.
The service here is excellent—all of the staff were helpful, attentive, and really made our stay pleasant.
The rooms themselves are perfectly fine, but...
The hotel is nicely located in front of the main train station. Very convenient when I needed to leave by train in the early morning. Overall clean, spacious room, delicious breakfast and helpful staff.
The hotel is located right across the street from the train station, making it extremely convenient for restaurants, shopping, and the Christmas markets. Breakfast is simple with a few selected hot items which was nice. The room itself was comfortable, though it lacked a fridge, kettle, and (as far as I noticed) an iron.
The soaking tub was a nice feature however keep in mind if you are a wide person...

Great location and the service was excellent. Room was very clean. I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you.
Exceptional location (right in the heart of city center yet quite), great staff, nice room with small kitchenette, convenient on-site parking (18€ a day).
Beautiful accommodation lovely service
Good location and the room is cleen
Friendly Reception Staff. It’s only a few steps from the Christmas mark and it’s 10 minutes walk from the train station. Thank you so much for the coffee machine and the water and the water machine as well. If I would come back to Strasbourg, I would definitely Stay here again 😊
Great central location, very clean, and the continental breakfast is surprisingly good. Loved the free coffee machine and water station in the lobby.
On the downside, daily room cleaning costs extra, and the check-in (after 15:00) / check-out (before 11:00) times feel a bit strict. A little more guest-friendly flexibility would make the stay even better.

Convenient place. Ideal for vacation
Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet hotel, clean room, located near the city center with direct parking access.
We will cherish the memory of our getaway to Strasbourg.
The room was clean and had everything we needed. We chose it because of its central location and excellent transport links (as you can see in the photo from the window). I recommend it to anyone visiting the Christmas markets. There's a bus and tram stop right outside and to the side of the hotel, which makes it very convenient.
Hotel well located for visiting Strasbourg on foot. Good value for money.
Good location. Although it's a few kilometers from the center, it's located on a main road that makes it very easy to get to and around the city. It's a quiet area. Parking is available at the hotel, another important factor when traveling by car, as we did.

The biggest advantage is its proximity to the station. The elevator is small, so be careful if you have luggage. Breakfast is practically nonexistent, it doesn't matter if you go early or late. The restaurant is on the second floor, right next to the stairs, so you won't be sleeping there in the mornings and evenings.
Location wise is very convenient if you're traveling via train coa the main train station is just a minute walk. Staff are friendly and nice.
Perfect for an ibis budget, reception staff and breakfast were very good.
We had a wonderful experience thanks to the excellent service. The staff went above and beyond by preparing breakfast for us very early in the morning before our train departure, which we truly appreciated. Everyone was extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about our needs. The room was comfortable and clean, with a brand-new carpet that made it feel fresh and welcoming. We arrived late by train, so the hotel was ideal for us. Hotels on or near the Grand Île are expensive, and this was the case here. However, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was well serviced, very clean...

The hotel is an ibis so not great interior design for rooms. A little strange to find fish wall paper in the rooms in Strasbourg. Overall ok however fine for visiting the city as a tourist.
Basic but very clean room, great breakfast, less than 50 meters from the tram that takes you to the best city attractions in 10-12 minutes.
Had a great stay at this Ibis. Spent a 3 days there during Christmas market season. The staff was very helpful. We asked for extra blankets late at night and got them immediately. The chef was great too. The breakfast was fresh and the croissants especially were delicious. The rooms are a bit small but that was expected. I booked a one-night stay. The gentleman at the reception wearing glasses was extremely indifferent and unfriendly. Other than that, the place was clean.
Fabulous staff, comfortable beds, clean and quiet. Tram stop is right outside the hotel for a quick 10 minute ride to old town where all the Christmas markets are. Wonderful breakfast buffet and convenient luggage storage if needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel room was ok. Everything was clean but basic. No hot tea or coffee in room. The shower was awful, water spilled all over the bathroom floor. No way to contain it. The hotel was nice, except for the exorbitant prices during Christmas. The biggest drawback: Ctrip failed to process my reservation, and I had to pay again upon arrival, which was strange. With so many people waiting, it took a long time before I was finally allowed to check...
Extremely kind and helpful staff, very calm atmosphere, great food nearby, I wish I had time to stay longer.

Was very nice experience, the team were helpful, breakfast was not bad.
Well located, but rooms without air conditioning during this heatwave had to leave before the scheduled date. Very good welcome and breakfast, nearby parking (300m) very expensive. High price for the service. Prefer the Mercure 300m away for the same price (without breakfast)
Newly renovated, 5-story hotel, clean. Tastefully decorated. Friendly and attentive staff. Hearty breakfast, everything is provided to start a good day. Refurbished and in good shape. Clean, comfortable, good size rooms. Some slightly annoying features - like a heavy fire door to the bathroom. Why? Simple, compact, and yet very well located!
My wife and I visited Alsace region early November and stayed in this hotel overnight in transit. Not good as a home base but excellent if just overnighting! This is a good visit. The recent renovations are excellent. The location is perfect. The staff was very good and helpful. Many of the staff that I interacted with are students at the university. They were all bright, engaging and a joy to talk to. I will return.

The hotel is located on the edge of the old town, with most attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was very thoughtful, and the staff were very friendly; one staff member even went to get me sanitary napkins from a colleague in the middle of the night – I was very grateful. Great location for the Christmas markets, just 2 blocks to get there. Hotel was lovely, room was great and staff were helpful and spoke beautiful English. The hotel restaurant has wonderful food. Totally enjoyed our stay
Overall fantastic hotel, spacious and clean rooms with pretty views of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. However it should be made clearer that the spa/sauna/pool are not included in the hotel price, and that a supplement is required of 20€ per hour of use of the spa. But it is still a good hotel and I would return there as the location is good.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, and my opinion is quite straightforward: I only recommend it if you have an early flight the next morning. Its only real advantage is its very close proximity to the airport — just a 5-minute train ride, which can be convenient in specific situations.

Nice hotel in a very good location for the station and to see the centre of the city.
Polite staff and greeting on arrival. Rooms were nice, only problem was the blinds didn't shut in the room and there was a street light outside!
