Excellent accommodations a couple blocks away from old town or an easy tram ride depending how far you want to go. The manager was immensely friendly and helpful. The stairs, though, no lift, are almost vertical! Still 5 stars.

The level of hospitality and warmth from the proprietor and his son is such a rarity. We felt so welcome and well looked after. Would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Bordeaux. Location is excellent.

We had a lovely stay at Churchill Hotel in Bordeaux! The room was very charming, well designed and restfully quiet! The staff were extremely welcoming and warm! They even let me play their piano which was wonderful! We will definitely go back !

Everything was really fine. Breakfast very fine if you find something you like within the pretty limited range of offers.. great and silent rooms

Stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely book this again the next time I visit Bordeaux.
Location is great, walking distance to Meriadeck tram station (for easy access to airport). Close to central attractions and good food options - we mostly walked to our destinations.
Rooms were very comfortably furnished. Quiet and good blackout curtains. Felt very safe.
Highlight of the stay was the warm hospitality shown by the hotel staff, who were so cheerful, attentive and helpful. Airline delivered my lost luggage at night and Samy was so kind to carry it upstairs and place it in my room whilst I was out, so I could have the bag the same night despite getting back after reception closed.

It's clear that a lots of effort was spent in renovation, but there is no magic way to create more space than what is available in first place. The result can be a toilet inside the shower cabin! No kidding! Great interiors, clean room, very well equipped, but... the toilet INSIDE the shower cabin? Why? If there is no much space for a descent bathroom, then change the room to a single bed instead of double. Anyway, if you plan to stay at this hotel, make sure you choose the right room size. Otherwise you might get confused when entering the shower cabin and seeing the toilet under the shower.

Booked standard room 120 euros . Tiny room . We could barely move . Loo in the shower . Clean and comfortable. Reception staff very welcoming and took our luggage up to our second floor room as no lift . Breakfast plenty .

Hamid greeted us and couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are a good size and there are Clarins products in the bathroom. There aren't any elevators, like any other old building! The breakfast is a self-service buffet with home made breads. There isn't a hot option other than toast but there are plenty of other delicious options.
