Had a lovely stay at the Hôtel Courchevel Olympic, we were on the second floor in room 204, had lovely views out over the mountains and was peaceful nights. The room was basic but nice and warm and clean. The staff here are really helpfull and acoomodating. We turned up at 12:00 and we could not check in till 4pm however the staff were more than happy for us to leave our skis etc down stairs. The hotel does not have a lift upto your rooms so you can ask the staff the help if you struggle with that. There is a lift down to the ski/boot room which was fab, and made things really easy. Short walk up to the slope around 2 mins and approx 5 minutes up the la crossette. But we were knackered so we took our time. The food at the hotel was very nice, basic but very nice! we were lucky in that we were upgraded to all inclusive, not sure how that happened but ha ! we were happy..... there was also a fire up the road from up which took out 4 hotels and we lost water presure due to the fire, however the staff jumpted into action to ensure all guests had ample water. Whilst i appreciate this hotel is a 2 star please see the following + and - 's + Location is fantastic Staff are lovely, very approachable, willing to help and seem to enjoy their jobs, although not sure who is meant to be in charge or if there is any support from above. Quality of evening meals was very good but limited to one choice. - The hotel is soooooooooo noisy at night that it just ruined the whole holiday, As you will appreciate, sleep is essential on a ski holiday to ensure safety and alertness on the slopes, unfortunately we were only ever getting about 2 hours sleep a night before the deliveries, bottle recycling, club closing etc etc started. I have never stayed anywhere that's area has zero respect for residents not just in our hotel but the surrounding areas. Even with earplugs it is noisy. The rooms were ok for a 2 star but could be so much better if they replaced all the carpets, washed the mould off the bathroom walls, replaced the shower curtains and used a bit of bleach every now and then. If location is key to you and you don't mind sleepless nights then its a good shout.

We really enjoyed our week in Courchevel. We went to this hotel with Crystal Ski. There are many good points. *Very reasonable price for Courchevel centre *Rooms are warm and spacious, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage. *Close to the slopes (and shops). *Modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water. *Friendly and helpful staff including the very present managers, Bruno and Eloise. *Rooms cleaned every day. *Complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries *Good quality breakfast and evening meal *Cosy bar/dining area with chilled atmosphere. Some downsides :- *Some aspects of the rooms are very tired eg carpets, curtains and wallpaper. *Although the rooms have balconies, don't expect fabulous views. Rear rooms face an alley and the back of shops. Front rooms have a large development blocking most of the view and are on the main road. *For beginners the only way to get to ski school involves two long flights of stairs in the main hub, La Croisette. *The ski room is in the basement of the apartment building next door. *There is no lift in the hotel (but there is one to the ski room). We were very glad to be on the first floor! *The evening meal is only one option as it is not actually a restaurant. Bit like being in a catered chalet which didn't bother us.

During our stay at Hotel Courchevel Olympic in January, we had an important problem with our ski passes on the last day.

The passes were arranged by the hotel, but they did not work properly that day. Despite several requests at the reception, no quick solution was offered. We waited about three hours without being able to ski, even though it would have been easy to replace the cards.

This caused a loss of time and negatively affected the end of our holiday. We would have appreciated better organization and more efficient handling of the problem.

We hope this kind of situation will be managed better in the future for other guests.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room includes all the necessities and met our needs for two people for a week. This is a good room if you plan to explore and not spend a lot of time in the room. Expectations should be set for a 2 star hotel, room conditions and cleanliness could be better, but there is a lot of value here because the location is premium and there is a lot included in the stay.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Property was clean, but needs updates as other reviewers have noted. Some light bulbs out in the room, etc. Breakfast was adequate. Great location and good place to stay on a budget.

The location is the only thing. The first floor felt like I was sleeping outside it was so loud and you can hear everyone coming thru the hallway. The room had a balcony but the second door was not closed completely so the snow storm dumped snow all over the balcony , it looks like no one takes care of the premise. It was sunny and nice when I was there no one came to clean it up so I could close the second door so it was cold you can feel the air when you stand next to the door. The cleaning they did was redo the bed, same sheets, new towels and they never changed the floor towels near the shower, I had the same one the whole time I was there. The amenties were not restocked. There is no customer service cause there is no reception area. Its a motel with bar and they have a laptop to check you in. If you arrive when they are closed , your are on the streets with your luggage there is no waiting area at all. There are no elevators ! Would not return nor reccomend them. There are alot of hotels around that are better.
