We have been three time in this place, in three years, and we love it more each time. Perfectly suitable for all, families, and couples and groups of friends.

Hotel location: easy to get to 1850. Next to Aquamotion which is brilliant. Room: air con not great, extra sink in bathroom. Balcony welcomed. Bedside table silly. Kitchen really good. Hotel: good amenities. Spacious. Funky decor. Concierge very efficient. Hugo our waiter was amazing.

This hotel is a good choice for family especially with kids because it’s connected to the largest spa and waterpark Aquapark. For hotel guests is complimentary and it’s big place with indoor and outdoors pools. Staff not great especially at breakfast, not open to requests or to assist guests with special dietary requirements. They did not mention the parking is to paid so surprisingly we got charged...

Just arrived back home from a week at Ecrin Blanc… what a fantastic week it was. The staff in the restaurant were exceptional. The access to the waterpark was so convenient. The hotel itself is beautiful - our room had amazing views . Will definitely return.

Good hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with good shower and bathroom. Gym was ok, but bar seemed closed for much of trip and surrounding area lacked an equivalent once back from the city (which was only 15 mins by bus away so was not a big issue).

The cleanliness was not satisfactory — I found dirty shoe prints and someone else’s hair in the bathtub. I reported the issue to the front desk and requested a room change, but they told me there were no available rooms that night and asked me to handle it myself. It is just next to the Lyon Congress Centre, but a distance from the old town. Not much eatery around the neighbourhood, but the public transport is just a stone throw away from the hotel. I know this hotel well, staying regularly every year in their studios, which are impeccable, but I'd like to draw attention to two significant flaws: 1/ Weak Wi-Fi: Their Wi-Fi has been poor for years, and nothing has been done to improve it. 2/ The restaurant is closed on Sundays: an absurdity in a 4-star hotel!!

The hotel decorated our room beautifully, and it looked even better than the photos online. Staff were very friendly and helped us park when the garage was full. Hotel is about a 25 minute walk out of town along the lake but the walk is truly wonderful as there is the lake and the mountains to gawk at along the way. The hotel is very modern and new. The rooms have big patios. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar is enticing as is the pool and heated pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Welcoming front desk and quick to check in. The room we stayed in did let the rating down though and so I wouldn't say this was a four star hotel unfortunately. A separate toilet in what could only be described as a cupboard was barely big enough for a grown man. The coffee making facilities were very basic too.

An excellent experience during our stay - our room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated the tea and coffee provided in the room. The breakfast was excellent, very varied, and good quality. The hotel is in a convenient location, we were able to walk almost everywhere during our stay in Lyon.

There is a bus stop right next door that will take you to Geneva, Paris or Annecy, so you don't have to rush out early in the morning. The hotel itself is nice too.

20 mins walk from the old town passing by the beautiful lake side where people play, swim, fish and do boating activities. The hotel is a fine resort located in front of the lake giving a superb view of the area if your room is facing the lake itself. This time, I didn't have a lake view room, but the interior was casually lovely, the bathroom was clean, and the amenities were the same high-end ones used in the spa. There was even a coffee machine, Evian water, and cake, which was great.

Very nice hotel with courteous staff. The food is also great. I travelled in a group of 7 from Nigeria for a business meeting and we truly enjoyed our stay. Sadly, a particular employee named Gabriel was rude to us in our last night while we were having a short meeting. We reported to the hotel management, and I'm sure they'll deal with it accordingly.

Our stay at the Mercure was amazing. From checking in to check-out all staff were very polite, had a smile and made welcome during out stay. I’m not sure how this hotel got a 4* rating. Didn’t feel clean, aircon broke (looking at reviews since at least 2023), no door look out hole, cheaply painted and wall papered rooms felt like a hostel. Walking into reception looked nice but as soon as you used the stairs to get to room it looked like a block of flats. Requires refurb.

This was a full-service hotel with many excellent features. Food was excellent. Service was superb. Very helpful staff eager to please. Very clean, luxurious, and well maintained grounds. The room was very nice and clean, though the AC wasn't cold enough and needs repair. The breakfast was decent for the price, but below what you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, the staff were not friendly. Also, an extra €50 per person (we are 2), was blocked at check-in, and we were only informed that we'd get the money back after seven days following checkout.

The location of the hotel is super good, right on the pedestrian street. What's especially considerate is that the two rooms are arranged together with a door in the middle, which is very good! But the price is parking! Let's not talk about parking in big European cities, that's not the hotel's problem.

My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Easy walking distance from the Grandes Montets lifts. Very nice atmosphere and the owners are very nice. My son fell in the lift parking lot, and the owner kindly offered to wash his ski pants. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

Everything as expected, positively, which counts for a lot when you’re scouring more economic choices. Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast has a good choice, reasonable enough for 20 bucks. Underground parking is extra for guests (why I don’t know as it was pretty empty). Bit of a Fawlty Towers style lift (hiccups to a stop) and stairs are good exercise anyway.

Very beautiful hotel, recently renovated; nice interior. The room was not so big but big enough. One downside is that it was extremely hot on our bedroom, had to sleep with the window open with all the noise from the city madness. 🙈 Breakfast is a bit expensive (18 euro pp) but it was very good and a lot of options.
