We chose Alexander Park to stay as it close to Chambéry Airport and are glad we did. Adequately sized room with two double beds which were very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant when we arrived and the food was superb for both adults and children. Everyone was helpful and our children loved the park. Would love to come back in the summer when the pool is open.

The toilet light didn't work we complained at the the reception inmediatly. They said they were going to fix it the next day, instead of fixing the light, they disconfigured the card key . Instead of letting us know or apologize they acted as nothing has happened. The sink of the tub didn't swallow .There is not a single feauture of the hotel that allows me to think as that It is a 4 star hotel. We had been in another 4 star hotel in the area that was very good for the same price range.

Horrible service by staff. At breakfast the lady cleaning the tables was slamming the dishes and Cutlery right next to us when there was so much space on the other side, went to have dinner at their restaurant at 9pm and the guy just took the menu from me and closed the entrance without saying it is closed. Didn't basically want to even engage with us.

In no way is this a 4 star hotel! It's on an industrial estate right next to a busy motorway so it's incredibly noisy. The air con in bedroom did nothing at all even on 'full' - couldn't feel a hint of cold air. Lots of mosquitos in the room and outside so combined with the road noise and hot humid room, we got very little sleep. Didn't help that there were bus loads of kids on a trip playing 'chap door, run' at 10.30pm! Couldn't eat in restaurant in the evening as it was too busy with all the kids. The little pots of UHT milk in our room looked sealed, but were not and were empty!! Thought we'd go to breakfast as soon as it opened, but the kids got there first. A very unpleasant stay and whilst there may not be hoards of kids all the time, the poor location and standard of room means we cannot recommend the hotel. We found an excellent local restaurant nearby though.

Hotel is full of screaming out of control children running all over. Not possible to eat in as restaurant is full. Wouldn't stay here again

Much better than expected

Comfortable hotel, self-service breakfast with a good selection of (local) products

08.11.2024 Dalma

We expected slightly more from a 4 star hotel. : We ordered room service through the QR code placed in our room for this purpose. This promised the food to arrive within 30 minutes. When an hour after passing the order we still didn’t receive anything, my husband went down to the restaurant to find that (!) the restaurant never received the order. Despite the fact that (as they confirmed) the restaurant had been aware that QR code system just doesn’t function, invitations had not been removed from the rooms.
Positive: kid friendly. Got cot set up in room. Nice playground 🛝 by the breakfast area.

Some English communication problem in reception. Room clean.
